  • Quiet, safe with a great view!

"This was our first time in Ocean City and we really enjoyed it. The good: Jeff and Charry are really, really nice and make everything easy. The condo has a gorgeous view from the living room and master bedroom over a few canals with both a view of the bay, and a view of the Ocean City skyline. It's really nice to sit out there for coffee or dinner and watch the boats and the waterfowl. The second bedroom also has a balcony on the other side overlooking the tennis courts and pool area. The pool area is REALLY nice, with a lap pool with lanes and then an open one for free play. It features chaise loungers, games you can check out from the office, umbrellas and lots of shade, and lifeguards. It feels like a country club. Inside, the condo's kitchen is well-outfitted with everything you could possibly need, including a spice rack, so that was beyond nice. The living room/dining area is on the small side but it has a great TV with full cable. The furniture and wallpaper/carpet combo are a little dated but that wasn't a big deal for us. There was a ceiling fan in the master bedroom which was highly appreciated. The beds were comfortable and we took the option to use the provided bedding which was so convenient. The neighborhood is quiet and a condo community so there's none of the boardwalk/nightlife craziness--appreciated that, exactly what we wanted. You can walk to the grocery store and the CVS. There are a couple of bars and restaurants in the same area too. On the down side, there's no Wi-Fi (the citywide Wi-Fi didn't work for me very well), and it's a bit of a walk to the beach if you have gear with you. It also involves crossing a 6-lane highway (there's a light though). The "three blocks" are very long blocks! Being on 120th guests should be aware that this is a bit north of some of the activities and will add drive time (Assateague Island, Jolly Roger's, recommended restaurants and the boardwalk). We didn't mind that though some might. And lastly, there's no grill for BBQing and no extra amenities (beach gear, access to the fitness center etc)--talking to people that have been to OC though I got the feeling that's the norm. Overall a very, very pleasant stay and I would highly recommend this rental, especially for the view and balconies!"

  • Another Amazing Vacation

"This is the 4th time my family has rented one of Bruce's two homes (3rd time at this house) in Ocean Pines and we have yet to be disappointed. This house is kept impeccably clean and the furnishings are perfect for a large family. Everything you could possibly need for a week or more vacation is at the house. It's been fantastic not having to pack extra kitchen utensils, pans or even our Keurig coffee maker like we used to have to do with other rentals. Prior to renting from Bruce, we stayed in at least 5 different Ocean Pines rentals and none have come close to being as nicely furnished or as clean as this house. The free access to the Ocean Pines Beach club is a great bonus as it's extremely easy to get to from the 90th bridge. This house is also situated very close to several Ocean Pines pools and playgrounds which is perfect for our young son and a break from the Boardwalk and beach for all of us. Bruce has always been unbelievably accommodating to my family and it's been a pleasure to get to know him over the years. We're looking forward to coming back to this house next year to enjoy another amazing vacation."

  • Great location and wonderful place to lay your head after exploring all day.

"I really enjoyed the location of the property in the middle of the city. Having the guaranteed and covered parking. was a Major plus while the weather made its mind up. Was very close to a lot of wonderful restaurants. Enjoyed having the space in the fridge for all the yummy leftovers! Enjoyed the views and sounds from the balcony. Was also very nice having two showers and a washer and dryer in the unit. Thanks again for opening your home to us. Looking forward to coming back in the future."

  • Perfect Week

"The house was just a great place for two families to get away and focus on fun. There was plenty of room inside, clean and cozy, and central to all of the plans we would make on each of the days ahead of us. Outside was fantastic. every morning we would go out to the dock with our morning coffee and just sit, until the kids starting streaming down there, one by one. The days were filled with tubing, jumping off the dock, kayaking, fishing, and just floating in the water. At night the bonfires were key to our recap of each day's events and tired kids would settle in. All of the kids said it was their best vacation ever. The parents tend to agree. we'll be back."
