  • Such a perfect quite place to spend a weekend

"I used this place to celebrate my wife's birthday and we all loved it! The house has two levels. The top level has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The lower level has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The thing we loved the most was to watch the sunrise from the house. It has such an amazing view and its so peaceful. We are surely coming back!"

  • Quiet Retreat

"Overall, the family enjoyed our visit to Colton's Point. This house is an older waterfront cottage and does show it's age which is part of the character. I mean in slopping floors kind of way and obvious the structure was built on over time adding to it's charm. PROS: The house is on a secluded spot with only 2 other houses next door. You can see the water out the back from the kitchen window and the front of the property where the dock is (in the picture). For what my family was looking for in a long-weekend, we had everything we needed. The closest grocery store is at least 15-20 min away but there is a convenience store about half that (nothing you can walk to if you need to buy anything). A canoe is available (which we did use) and some small bikes (which we did not use). No hesitation in recommending if you are not looking for a newer house to rent. Convenience of a full kitchen and AC units in each bedroom was appreciated and the place was clean enough. Plenty of towels available. CONS: Some obvious needed updates include replacing the crank style windows on the porch (only 1/2 of them open). There were supposed to be crab pots, but we couldn't find them to try out. And some places could use a spring cleaning (like overhead fans and book shelves for example). There was a gas grill, but only one of the three burners turned on. For my preference, I wish the owners removed more of their personal belongings out of sight and toiletries from the bathrooms. It made me feel like I was intruding. Would recommend - but don't expect a new property. Dog friendly was important to us. Thank you to the owners!"

  • This house is exactly as presented and more.

"We were there for a batchelorette party weekend. It couldn't have been better. This house is so well appointed. We enjoyed morning sunrises and afternoon sunsets on the expansive decks. We brought kayak and paddled around the point. We walked into the quaint town for shopping and lunch. The famous key lime pie at Lotus Cafe did not disappoint. We enjoyed the decks so much we ordered dinner in. Also, the owner Lynda is so gracious. We will definitely be looking into renting this amazing home again. I give it a 10+!"

  • our sons wedding

"Needed a house for 6 adult couples to stay for sons wedding over labor day weekend. What a great house ! It has more than enough space to entertain inside or out. Open floor plan on first floor was so spacious from kitchen to back patio never felt crowed. Nice outside seating area overlooking Chesapeake Bay was nice night or day. Groom and groomsmen had pictures taken at outside what a great back round . Good location close to just about everything shopping, restaurants, boardwalk. Would highly recommend staying here."
