  • Wonderful space!

"We found the suite to be very comfortable, and the perfect place to stay for a long weekend. A quiet country setting with easy access to DC as well as a short drive to Chesapeake Beach. Everyone was wonderful, communicated arrival information well and were helpful during our stay. Bed was comfortable, as was the living area. We would highly recommend for any length of stay. Skip the hotel, check out this suite!"

  • Quiet beautiful location!

"Loved staying here for an extended July 4th trip. The close walking distance to your private beach was unbelievable. Plenty of room for extended family and children. Kids loved the board games and blackjack table. We all loved the pub! Very impressed and hope to visit again. Thanks for your hospitality. Only wish is that towels were provided, as we were flying with 7 people and towels took up valuable luggage space."

  • Quiet Retreat

"Overall, the family enjoyed our visit to Colton's Point. This house is an older waterfront cottage and does show it's age which is part of the character. I mean in slopping floors kind of way and obvious the structure was built on over time adding to it's charm. PROS: The house is on a secluded spot with only 2 other houses next door. You can see the water out the back from the kitchen window and the front of the property where the dock is (in the picture). For what my family was looking for in a long-weekend, we had everything we needed. The closest grocery store is at least 15-20 min away but there is a convenience store about half that (nothing you can walk to if you need to buy anything). A canoe is available (which we did use) and some small bikes (which we did not use). No hesitation in recommending if you are not looking for a newer house to rent. Convenience of a full kitchen and AC units in each bedroom was appreciated and the place was clean enough. Plenty of towels available. CONS: Some obvious needed updates include replacing the crank style windows on the porch (only 1/2 of them open). There were supposed to be crab pots, but we couldn't find them to try out. And some places could use a spring cleaning (like overhead fans and book shelves for example). There was a gas grill, but only one of the three burners turned on. For my preference, I wish the owners removed more of their personal belongings out of sight and toiletries from the bathrooms. It made me feel like I was intruding. Would recommend - but don't expect a new property. Dog friendly was important to us. Thank you to the owners!"

  • Loved it! Perfect North Beach location, perfect accommodations for two couples.

"My husband and I traveled to North Beach with another couple. We love North Beach, and we love the location of this apartment -- it looks out over the boardwalk, the beach, and the bay, and the whole town is in easy walking distance. It is perfect for two couples, or possibly a small family. We arrived on a Friday and got to enjoy the North Beach Farmer's Market that evening, which included live music. We will definitely check to see if this condo is available the next time we are going to be in North Beach."
