  • Very beautiful

"Gorgeous home, spectacular views! Not quite on the water like the pictures make it look but close enough. The house is clean, huge, great kitchen with plenty of tools, big beautiful bathrooms& bedrooms, etc. My in-laws rented the house for the weekend & hosted a rehearsal dinner there. Everyone was pleased with an intimate dinner in a magazine worthy home. Most people stayed on the spacious deck because the views were incredible. The mexican restaurant, Mexico, is in walking distance and so is the boardwalk. The loft doesn't have a door & is right above the common area so noise goes right up there....just an fyi :)"

  • charming cottage

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage, although we only stayed three nights. The furnishings are unique, eclectic with antiques. We had privacy, and help if we needed it. Everything was supplied and we were able to get more if we needed it. The double bed is a challenge for two people but we managed. There is a very small kitchen and bathroom with a shower outside. The deck is a perfect place to enjoy the serenity of watching birds, gazing at the cove, or spending the night looking at the stars. Places to eat were within reasonable distance as were activities such as sightseeing, checking out the lighthouses or shopping on Solomen's Island. Plenty of information and maps of the area are available in the cottage. Make sure to check the times and days that places of interest are open! We were disappointed about being unable to see Calvert Cliffs due to the long walk to the beach and if we return we will head instead to the points or the campgrounds. On our one rainy day, we just hung out at the cottage, relaxing in the cozy cottage. This retreat is well worth the cost!"

  • Quiet beautiful location!

"Loved staying here for an extended July 4th trip. The close walking distance to your private beach was unbelievable. Plenty of room for extended family and children. Kids loved the board games and blackjack table. We all loved the pub! Very impressed and hope to visit again. Thanks for your hospitality. Only wish is that towels were provided, as we were flying with 7 people and towels took up valuable luggage space."

  • Great Long Weekend

"Clean, comfortable, waterfront cottage with amazing views, located in the heart of a small friendly town with a nice boardwalk, and cool shops / restaurants. Location is great as a hub for Chesapeake sightseeing or simply for relaxing. Owner went out of her way to make us feel welcome and provided priceless guidance on all things North Beach."
