  • Wonderful weekend for multiple families

"The home is very nice, and the pictures are representative of how incredible the property actually is. I was amazed at the size of the the backyard. The kayaks and dock were excellent, too. The owner was also incredibly helpful with all my inquiries. The jellyfish were in full force during our stay, but the house provided many more options to make the weekend excellent. We also caught a ton of crabs off the dock in the traps provided by the owner. Helpful hint, be sure to go to the store in Easton or Cambridge before getting to the house, because no one wants to hop in the car and do a minimum 20-minute drive back to town."

  • My home away from home!

"I absolutely LOVE staying at the BeachWalk Cottage every year! This is your home-away-from-home when looking for an ideal place to sit back and relax! The cozy yet beach atmosphere continues to leave my family in awe time and time again! My teenagers look forward to coming down hanging out freely to roam between North Beach and the Cheseapeake Beach Water Park! Friday Nights are awesome with the Farmer's Market, etc and you definitely do not want to miss the wonderful 4th of July Celebration from the beach! With a wonderful and gracious owner like Norma Robertson, you will never go wrong at the BeachWalk Cottage! ~C. Harvey"

  • Great Getaway

"The town is a hidden gem where people keep their doors open and say hello as you pass on the streets. Almost everything is walkable. The owner provides passes to the beach and parking. The Jameson's are great hosts and wonderful people."

  • Wonderful time in a beautiful setting

"We rented Ransome's Chesapeake Retreat for a family reunion. We had 20 adults and 15 children, ages 22 months thru 15. Everyone had a great time. The setting was great. There was lots of land to explore, crabs to be caught, wildlife to see, ships to watch, a screened in porch to sit and catch up, and a pool. The Fun Center was great for the kids. They even put together their own talent show and held the event In the fun center. We did have some problems with the automatic pool vacuum, but the handyman, John answered our questions, stopped over, and got the pool repairman there first thing in the morning. Not many places have such a responsible and nice handyman. He was much appreciated. When planning a reunion with so many people, it is hard to find a place where everyone gets a bed. This was the perfect place. We all had a wonderful time in a beautiful setting. We would recommend this retreat for anyone planning a family reunion."
