  • Nice!

"My family, 4 adults and 1 child stayed for 1 week. The beach is right outside the door, it was wonderful! It was great to not have to bring linens and to have ready use of a washer & dryer. We caught enough crabs for a great meal! The swimming was limited due to the jellyfish but we had a couple days to boogie board and make some new friends. We did do a fishing charter with Captain Mike from Buzz's Marina, he was WONDERFUL!!! Bringing a 7 year old to such a secluded, quiet area was difficult, she was 'very bored' playing games and watching tv can become tiresome. So, bring a friend for them to play with."

"We had a fantastic time during our weekend at Nana's Nest/ Hooper's Island. Nicole was incredibly insightful as we were preparing for our visit."

  • Wonderful waterfront home

"We stayed for a long weekend when my son was racing in the Ironman. It was not too far from Cambridge, so it was a good spot for that. The house is beautiful, bright and airy, with everything you could need for a stay. The description in the listing is spot on. The beds were comfortable. A nice feature was ceiling fans in the rooms. I like that. The house is right on the water, and the screen porch was a peaceful place to sit and eat breakfast. I was very glad for the screens as the mosquitos were plentiful. The information provided in the guest book was very helpful. The weather was poor, so we did not get a chance to use the boats, but we did get in a bike ride. We did a nice loop that my son did twice while I did it once. The house was very close to part of the bike race course, just up the road to the intersection with the main road, so I watched for him from there, then once he went by, I drove in to Cambridge to watch for him in the running portion. The location has a rural atmosphere, but is only 15 minutes from large town amenities. If you like craft beers, there were a couple of brew pubs in Cambridge, one that brews there own very good beer, the other had offerings from several local breweries, with good food to go with it. We had a great time and I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a waterfront vacation."
