  • Awesome Home and Perfect Location!

"This house was amazing for our 3 families! All the kids (ages 9 -13) got to sleep downstairs (2 rooms had bunk beds) and all the adults got their own king size bed). We were able to cook all meals there (2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers are an extra for large groups). The dock is great and you are in a quiet cove (no wake) that was perfect for hanging out on tubes, swimming or paddle boarding. We rented a pontoon boat for a few days and enjoyed tubing, knee boarding, exploring the lake and docking for ice cream! There is even a store at the end of the cove where you could do your grocery shopping by boat!! We used almost every aspect of the house (pool table, hot tub and fire pit) and the neighbors were all friendly and quite. David was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We would recommend this house rental to anyone and we hope to return soon!"

  • Perfect stay

"My family of three adult generations really enjoyed our week stay. With adult children and elderly parents, finding a perfect fit isn't always easy but this place fit the bill. Easy one level living with a gentle slope to the lake, pool table (level!), large fire pit with a nice lawn for our horseshoes, and two relaxing porch swings are just a few of the wonderful amenities we enjoyed. We rented kayaks and kept them at the houses dock, swam daily in the quiet cove. My son's dog was happy on a long tether around the yard. Movie theatre is a short 15 min drive, love the dog friendly decks at the restaurants, hikes at the nearby state park with beautiful waterfalls, whitewater rafting at Wisp! Great house for an active or relaxation seeking family!"

  • Cozy and clean getaway

"This cabin was everything we needed it to be. It was far from the city (DC for us), and yet it wasn't old and musty like one's worst nightmares (and perhaps some experiences) might make us fear. For just my wife and I, we found this place to be very well cleaned, simple, but with everything we needed. This included cooking supplies, extra blankets, wood (though uncovered and outside which needed some drying-out), and windows enough in the large room that it felt spacious. We had a couple of things we needed to ask the owner about, and she was imminently reachable. The walk down to the lake (frozen while we were there) is a beautiful short walk to a beautiful location. It's about 15 minutes to the nearest town and grocery store, which had everything we needed (and even some extra things we wanted!). We are hoping ot go back, perhaps with another couple of friends this time."
