  • Beautiful home with amazing lack views and access. Perfect family vacation week!

"We had a wonderful family vacation at Jellystone. It was a laid back, quiet weekend and even the days with less than optimal weather were very enjoyable. The home is beautiful and spacious, well appointed and wonderfully accommodated our party of 12, ranging in ages from 1 to 88 with 4 generations. The kitchen is very nice with high-end appliances and well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, pots/pans, etc. There are multiple family rooms, so everyone was able to do their own thing, from studying to reading to playing games to napping. Suzy was a delight to work with and very accessible and responsive. And, the lake views, the evening fires with the fire pit and fishing from the pier were some of our favorite outdoor activities. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation. This may well have started a new tradition for our family."

  • Fantastic getaway

"We wanted the kids to have a fun experience over spring break so we rented Ski & Glee for four nights. It was a fantastic choice. The drive from the DC area was easy and scenic. The house was beautiful and was stocked with everything we needed. We were four adults and five children (ages 6-7). There were plenty of beds and baths, and plenty of room to spread out to talk, play board games, etc. We loved the indoor pool (which has a great alarm system to keep kids out when parents say that swimming time is over), the mini-golf, and the arcade (some real classic games in there). We also loved the mountain view while standing outside grilling and making s'mores in the fire pit. Just down the road you'll find activities at the Wisp Resort. The mountain coaster was a lot of fun and the kids enjoyed the Chipmunk Challenge Course (a few fearful tears before the zip line, followed by pride in their accomplishment and a memory to keep forever). Apparently they have mountaintop whitewater rafting too, but it wasn't open at this time of year. We'll have to come back again for that! We took a short drive over to Swallow Falls State Park for a short hike and some beautiful views. This was a really memorable trip and Ski & Glee was a perfect home base for us. We're definitely hoping to make it an annual event."

  • Definitely a Keeper!

"Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is beautiful! I loved that it was walking distance to the plaza (and Redbox). The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with essentials. It was tastefully decorated. My only suggestion would be to add a DVD player to the downstairs family room tv. There is more comfortable seating downstairs than upstairs. We hope to return next year."
