  • Perfect Weekend in the Berkshires

"I just spent the weekend with my girl friend and 3 other friends. It was a great house for us, close to GB and hiking. You feel very secluded in the woods which makes for a very relaxing and quiet environment. We ate breakfast in the sunny breakfast nook and then headed out to hike Monument Mountain and spend the day in GB. We attempted the 1500 piece puzzle, but alas could not finish in time. A good reason to go back! So much space, fully equipped kitchen, plenty of bathrooms. Only suggestion would be to stock some more games. Highly recommend this home!"

  • Peaceful, rustic and private cabin!

"The cabin is very pleasant and fully stocked to enjoy an extended stay whether you are spending all day in the cabin or venturing out to see the great sights, sounds and people of the berkshires. It's rustic, but that's the charm of the place for sure. All appliances worked fine and the fireplace was excellent! John was extremely helpful as we mapped out our potential tourist activities. Of course we couldn't do them all, but certainly enjoyed those we did pursue. The color change of the leaves was beautiful. The deer and bobcats in the area around the cabin and the rustling of the wind and cool breeze out on the screened deck made for an "exactly what the doctor ordered" vacation!"

  • Cozy house perfect for a retreat

"This is a very comfortable and roomy old New England house that will make you feel at home. It's great for children, as there is room to roam outside and a wonderful screened-in porch. The house is well situated near the Taconic and a short drive from downtown Great Barrington, with its many shops and restaurants. It's also a short drive to beautiful Lake Mansfield and to many hiking trails. We enjoyed eating the breakfast the owner provides in the charming dining room. The owner is very responsive and helpful."
