  • A large and beautiful home with great views of the countryside from every room.

"We wife and daughter just finished a wonderful stay in this home over the holidays, and it was the perfect place to be. The area is gorgeous, the house is beautiful, and it is far more spacious than we imagined. Great Barrington is a lovely little town with very nice shops and restaurants, so there are great places to go. Everything was arranged perfectly for us in the house, so it was simple to show up and start relaxing. We look forward to returning soon."

  • Just what we were looking for!

"This house, although small in size, is perfectly laid out--we loved the kitchen with its light and high-end appliances; loved the shower upstairs, and admired the design and simple furnishings. We enjoyed delicious prepared foods from Guido's Market nearby and the pizza and ice cream in Great Barrington. We were very lucky with the weather so that we could enjoy taking walks in the winter sunshine. A very nice short stay and we would definitely return."

"We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Laurel Cape. This home is perfectly cozy & very well equipped with everything you could need, including many cozy lap blankets & pillows for lounging the days of away, which is what we did for a week following Christmas. the fireplace makes for both a warm environ as well as beauty to the setting. as a cook, the kitchen is super efficient with all the basic needs and more. we enjoyed preparing many meals together with the fireplace glowing in the background. we were three adults and the house allowed for us to mingle together & yet find private spots throughout the day. both bedrooms are very very comfortable with nice bedding & pillows et al. it was just close enough to town & other shopping with a car. quiet neighborhood for strolling in the snowstorm with a delightful 'green bank' to lookout upon from the den in back of house. SUPER clean and well maintained. we will be back for sure & would recommend without any hestitation."

  • Thanksgiving and Birthday Celebrations- a real treat!

"We were greeted in Stockbridge by a surprising foot of snow and Teva's presentation of cider, delicious donuts, Persecco, cheese & crackers, orchard fresh apples and eggs! A delightful way to begin a memorable holiday weekend with 3 generations of family ranging in age from 80 years young to 1 year old. The house contains so many amenities, the kitchen is extremely well provisioned and there's plenty of space for young and old alike to enjoy. The firepit was a favorite gathering spot in the evenings and everyone enjoyed trekking through the property, playing snow frisbee, and making a snowman. Festive Stockbridge center provided picture taking opportunities and a warming spot by the fire at the Inn. A day at nearby Kripalu was a highlight for the dad and daughter birthday celebrants. Although we never needed to contact him, Teva made certain we knew he was there for us to help in any way. We'd love to visit here again and highly recommend this property."
