  • Truly Elegance & Comfort

"The home is exquisitely furnished and meticulously maintained. The attention to details is true elegance, spacious, clean and comfortable. The charm of the historical home is evident in all the rooms, and furnishings, creating the warmth of a by-gone era. Unfortunately with the current trend of open concept, formal homes like these are quickly disappearing. I truly enjoyed the warmth of the enclosed side porch in February! It was so wonderful having coffee out there in the late mornings, working on my laptop. Carol, who lives up the block is truly, wonderful. I forgot my external mouse for my laptop, and could have functioned without it, but it would have taken me 5 times the time needed to complete the project, I had to turn in. So when I called her to ask where I could possibly buy one, she brought hers over to me for the day, such generosity. We were a group of 3 families, up for skiing, never felt cramped. With 6 teenagers, it was nice having separate rooms for each group. The white linens and towels were all truly appreciated and luxurious. I would definitely rent again, if available."

  • Simply the best.

"Beautiful home in good location - fantastic kitchen, superb en-suites in both bedrooms. One would be hard pressed to find accommodation as good as this."

  • Wonderful Stay

"My husband, a friend and I had the pleasure of spending a long weekend at La Rondine. We wanted a rental specifically so that we could attend the 3 concerts at Tanglewood over that weekend. La Rondine is far above the usual rental. No detail has been spared in the furnishings or amenities. The house is secluded and is at the end of a private dirt road. There is a spacious deck with a large gas grill. Once inside, you will find the house to be impeccably clean with comfortable furnishings which were chosen and decorated with an artist's eye. I appreciated that the house was not cluttered and that there were empty cabinets, closets and bureaus for our things. The kitchen, dining room and living area was mostly open and had a nice flow to it. There were two separate seating areas--one with the tv and the other nearer the dining area. The two bedrooms on the first floor were on opposite ends of the house which allowed for privacy. There is a large, beautiful loft which we did not use since we were a group of three. The location is close to Lenox center with its many shops and restaurants; it is also very close to Tanglewood (among other area attractions.) Steve was a pleasure to work with and helpful to us in all sorts of ways. He even left a bottle of prosecco as well as a goodie basket for us. Magnifique!"

  • Very nice experience!

"8 Montessori teachers and administrators gathered at these two houses for our annual staff retreat. This property suited us very well since everyone could have their own sleeping space. The houses are close together so it wasn't a big deal to get together and start meeting early. The main house was very warm and welcoming and was decorated with flair. We enjoyed the fireplace (and the very dry wood). The kitchen and pantry had everything we needed and we breakfasted in the sun room and dined in the main room. We even enjoyed the tree house and slide. We felt right at home."
