  • Unforgettable relaxing getaway

"We had a very memorable stay in this wonderful home in the Berkshires. The house is cozy and thoughtfully decorated yet at the same time very spacious with a huge master bedroom with access to the back yard. There are three other very accommodating bedrooms and three full baths on the first and second floor. Perfect for a family traveling with kids but also very fitting for a romantic couple's getaway. The house is at a very short distance from both adventures in nature and the quaint restaurants and coffee shops the Berkshires has to offer. The owners were very attentive and we are looking forward to coming back again soon!"

  • lovely spot!

"The house was perfect for our last-minute family get-together of 7 people coming from 3 different locations - plenty of bedrooms, comfortable spaces to sit and talk and eat inside and out. Close to Tanglewood, and we took advantage of the Lenox town beach a couple miles away for swimming and picnicking. The owner is responsive and accommodating. A lovely spot for a vacation!"

  • Perfection in the Berkshires

"We took a long weekend with just two couples (family) and were so pleasantly surprised at every detail. The art, the furnishings, the views, the location was all perfect! We flew into the Albany Airport, rented a car, drove 50 minutes to Lenox and then never used the car again while we were there. We walked to Canyon Ranch and had day spa services- AMAZING. Walked into town and found great restaurants and shops. The Kemble House next door has fabulous food and a wonderful bar but mostly we hung around the beautiful Carriage house and back porch. You don't want to miss the secret garden down beyond the expansive back yard. I would highly recommend this property!"

  • Louisa May Alcott on the Porch, Emeril in the kitchen

"My husband and I have spent the best 4 weeks of the year the last 5 summers in this magnificent house. Although I live in a contemporary ranch home, being surrounded by antiques, a two hundred year old family portrait and a Steinway parlor grand piano makes me feel quite at home and the owner more like family. As a cookbook author, the updated country kitchen with Viking stove and Bosch appliances not to mention every small appliance I need to cook, bake and even make ice cream is an addition that makes living there so wonderful. But what sold me on the property 6 years ago was the hammock looking at the vast green garden with flowers and herbs and an occasional early morning or evening deer. The photo of the yard is my screensaver! If you like music, the arts and want to escape the pressures of everyday life, especially in the city, this is THE place for you...just don't book my four weeks !!!"
