  • Charming, immaculate, extremely well provisioned!

"Russ and Kathy are wonderful to work with and very accommodating. Their home is unique, comfortable and private. The location is central to all the attractions in the area. We plan to return in the Fall!"

  • Fall family weekend

"This house was perfect for our family get-together (six in all, three couples). As other reviews suggest, the house is well laid out for this kind of grouping and the many windows on the second floor give a tree-house experience. There is a beautiful walk to a pond nearby and also easy access to some great restaurants and, for the fall, terrific apple picking."

  • Lovely spacious home with something for everyone!

"The listed description was accurate. The furnishings, beds, towels, kitchen were all of high quality. We loved the spacious home with plenty of large spaces for our family to gather together, as well as places to go and read, or be alone. The open kitchen/eating areas is a wonderful space for lots of people to help or hang out. The owner provided excellent service. I would definitely recommend it for families or groups of friends. We enjoyed visiting the Norman Rockwell museum, the Shaker Village (could have spent half a day there), and LOVED wandering around W. Stockbridge(renown artist's workshop who provides mobiles to top museums), and shopping/ice cream in Lenox. We missed the season of Jacob's Pillow and Tanglewood shows-- will try to catch them next time!"

  • Had a great family vacation here

"Our multi-generational family of 9 stayed here for a week. Our 3 kids are ages 1-7. Had a great time. The house was a perfect size for us. Thought we might have someone sleeping in the den, but there was enough room in the bedrooms for us. Having this many recently renovated baths and a high end kitchen with a couple of sinks was great. Everything was clean and in good working condition. The park with a playground, swings, and basketball courts across the street was a huge plus. Backyard and driveway were big enough for kids to have fun there too. Christina was very helpful and flexible. She and the owner are definitely part of the neighborhood and community, so did really have feel of staying in someone's home. Neighborhood is small, but had some worthwhile restaurants, and we were in other towns a fair bit. I'm guessing that we went at the least picturesque time of year, trees still bare, but we had great weather and it was nice to drive and walk along the rivers, farms, and small towns. Museums and other touristy sites were open, but not crowded which made taking the kids much easier. We definitely enjoyed our stay in this home and coming back from our day trips to a normal neighborhood as a way to get to know the area."
