  • Heavenly piece of New England

"Plantation House is a charming, spacious and beautiful home in the Berkshire hills. The owner could not have been more accommodating and provided just about everything our group of twelve ladies could have needed for an extended weekend stay. There were towels, sheets, soaps, paper products, a fully equipped kitchen and history galore in the house and an extensive, gorgeous property and vista out the back door. It was the perfect setting for our Columbus Holiday get-away of leaf-peeping, shopping and hiking. I can only imagine how lovely it is in the winter, spring and summer. Thank you, Susan!,"

  • Friendly home for family & friends

"Had a fantastic time! Hung out and cooked with family & friends, took walks in the countryside, jumped in the pond (very chilly in wintertime) and built a snow camel."

  • A wonderful week

"Our family - 5 adults, an 8 year old and a 2 year old - had a lovely week's vacation staying in this home. The house and yard are spacious, and gracious. The pool, with diving board, chairs and umbrella, and float devices, was very nice. The large flat lawn was great for bocce and for kicking around a soccer ball. The patio was also spacious, well equipped, and attractive. The huge kitchen with dining area - and even a second sink - worked wonderfully for us, as did the general layout of the house. Its location felt rural but was close to town and much else - the Clark Institiute, MassMoCA, Hancock Shaker Village; several nature preserves for walking, and hiking areas as well. All this less than 3 hours from NYC and Boston. We were very happy with our choice of this house and this area."
