  • MAGICAL!

"Let me begin on staying how kind the owners are. They seem to have team all working for the property. The owners make themselves available remotely, but they also have a caretaker who can be reach any time, a team that takes care of the grounds. At one point, the ladder on one of their floating docks came undone and within hours their dock specialist came to fix it. I felt like I was staying at a fancy hotel, all for a reasonible price. What was most amazing was the facilities. Everything you can think of is in the house - everything from boats to every board game to a huge collection of DVDs. What we loved most, and this might be silly, is the book you receive from the owners. It has a list of all their fav restaurants, explanations on where to find everything in the house, maps of the property and the area. All of this comes in real handy. I will let you determine how beautiful the place is by the pictures, but will say we were so grateful we did this."

  • Perfect for families with young kids!

"We stayed at this place with our two toddlers (2.5 yr old and 1 yr old). The house has everything you need for little kids: toys, books, kids movies, high chair, pack and play etc. My kids loved to play in the water, and there're plenty of floats for everyone! We also loved sitting by the river, very relaxing! Also the DVD library is fantastic! Loved this place, thank you for having us!"

  • Summer Magic

"Going on vacation with 3 kids under the age of 6 can be tough- but this house made it possible to relax and have a great time. We'd swim while the babies took naps, play lawn games in the yard and then BBQ and make s'mores at night. They had a ton of movies for kids on hand as well as a good number of books, toys and game equipment in the basement. Here were our favorite activities if you have young ones: 1.) Head around the corner to Cantina 229 and have tacos outside and let the kids see the farm animals. 2.) Great Barrington: Have dinner (and play ping pong) at the Prairie Whale and then go to Soco Creamery for dessert. On Friday afternoons, you can take the kids to the Mount for free jazz (and running around) or just go to the Giggle Park playground in GB and let them dance around to the free jazz in the park there. 3.) Jacob's Pillow- the kids really liked the free inside/out performance 4.) The Hancock Shaker Village had a ton of activities for kids and is just a pretty setting to run around 5.) The Berkshire Museum in Pittsfield had lots of interactive exhibits- including dinosaur costumes. If you need a rental with a little bit of separation (for two families, in-laws or sleeping babies)- this place is perfect!"

  • TIdy, casual house with great location.

"We had a great visit to the Berkshires and found our rental very comfortable. The house was spic and span clean and had everything we needed. Loved having the beach right across the street. Such a great part of the world, with so many nice attractions. We will return."
