  • Awesome home. Convenient to everything.

"We had a great time at Captain Jack's to attend a graduation at Mass Maritime then stay a week. The location was perfect. The home was excellent. Very lovely furniture, wonderful beds and everything you could possibly need in terms of appliances, dishes, pots/pans. The owners were awesome. Would highly recommend to anyone attending Academy events. Yard is great for family games and fun time. Short drive to ferry and beaches. Easy ride to National Seashore. Easy day trips to Boston and Provincetown. We echo the previous review about this being the best property we have stayed in. Thank you to Crystal and Joe."

  • Great house for an extended family getaway

"We enjoyed our stay at Willow House. It is clean and comfortable. There was more than enough space for 7 adults and two children and the dogs to spread out, for some to get up early or others to sleep in late without risk of disturbing anyone else. On another day if we all wanted to come home and shower etc then the many bathrooms made sure everyone was comfortable. The Dining Room is lovely to all sit together and enjoy a nice meal prepared in the well equipped kitchen with seafood fresh from George's fish market The beach at Dennis was terrific but the little ones preferred Sand Pond. Both beaches are better accessed by car or bike rather than by walking. There was so much to do and after 2 weeks we were just adding more things to do (but swimming was always the priority). Try a swim in the ocean before 9 AM when you can have it all to yourself!. Nothing like a morning dip. Thanks very much Mark and Susan for the summer squash you invited us to pick from the garden. The tomatoes look like they will be ripe and delicious soon."

  • Even better the second time around

"We returned to this wonderful -- beautifully decorated --- house for a second time this past week. As with last year, we had a fantastic stay. They have a great backyard with a nice grill. The owners also put in a number of improvements and renovations, which were gorgeous. The house is in an ideal location: walking / biking distance to one public beach and driving distance to amazing beaches (such as Mayflower) in Dennis. It's also close to good restaurants and grocery stores. We highly recommend this property."

  • Classic Outer Cape, a magical place.

"My in laws and my brother in law's family were extremely comfortable here with two little ones (4 and 6 mo) in tow as they visited my husband and me from far away. Our only regret was that we did not stay longer. The house is clearly the work of many years of rest and fun on the cape. Beautiful, artistic touches in the design and furnishings and a simple back in time experience (this is not the place for those who don't appreciate "simple" or "back in time"- fortunately we all very much do!). The breezes flow rapidly through the living areas, making you feel integrated with the woods outside. The porch is huge and the view beautiful. People can spread out and disappear or join each other in the cheerful living room. Great books on Cape Cod lore to browse and a thoughtful introduction in the house folder. This home was exactly was we hoped for- more actually. It gave a sense of being tucked away from the hustle and bustle in the quiet nature and artistic communion of the Outer Cape. A gorgeous beach is down the road, and plenty of good food (fish markets, drives to PB Boulangerie, the Bookstore, Napi's). Provincetown is close enough to be very convenient as well. What a special place. We were all sad to leave- perhaps four year old Millie being saddest. After whale watching and listening to whale songs, beach and romping on the fun orange pillow-chair, and eating ice cream in bustling Provincetown, she wasn't at all ready to head back to Texas. Thank you for sharing your cherished family home with us for the weekend. We felt like it was ours too- what a treat. Tip- bring a travel crib or pack n play for small babies. We were glad we did. And check pollen levels when planning your stay- the entire Cape was abloom! Although we didn't care one bit. I highly recommend this place as long as you don't nudge me out of a chance to stay again!"
