  • Another wonderful stay!

"This was the second time we vacationed at this wonderful home! Very comfortable, well kept & has everything you'll need. We were impressed with the updated outdoor shower. Great location to walk to restaurants/icecream or harbor for Whale Watch or EcoTour. Short drive, bike ride or walk (about a mile) to village for more restaurants and ice cream, market and small selection of stores/activites... Cool pottery store! Check out local guides for concerts, farmers markets, art shows in the village. Thanks again for an amazing vaca!!"

  • A simple cottage in shade of pines, firs and oaks.

"We have enjoyed our stay at this property. The beautiful wooded, private yard is quiet, cool and relaxing. Our two grandchildren, 4 and 6 years old, liked to watch the wild turkeys, play hide and seek, and build "animal traps" and "hiding places" out of dry branches. We slept on the enclosed porch, falling asleep to the rustle of the trees and waking up to the sounds of birds. We've been vacationing at Cape Cod for the past 5 years, every year staying at a different place. The local beaches didn't impress us. We found the beach on John's lake (Back Road, Mashpee) more suitable for small children. The beach wasn't crowded, had clean water, sand, was surrounded by trees, had a new playground, a covered picnic area and rest rooms ($15 for non residents). The children improved their swimming skills!"

  • Love this house!

"We just came back from our third stay at this house. We love it, and go back every year! It's clean, well-organized, and very well stocked - you just need to bring your own linens, but everything else will be there - any sort of kitchen appliance or tool that you may need (including a cappuccino machine), pillows/blankets, etc. There is laundry in the basement. The location is perfect - a little over a mile away from Craigville Beach, about 1.5 miles away from the Hyannis Center, a little over half mile to the nearest supermarket. You can buy a weekly pass for the Craigville and other Barnstable beaches for 50 bucks. The owner is also really nice and easy to deal with - responsive to emails, responsible and reasonable. We highly recommend this house!"

  • Fantastic stay at wonderful property!

"The property is even more beautiful in person than the pictures. Every room has a fabulous view of the water. The house has so many perfect sitting areas - it was exactly what my family and I hoped it would be and more. The owners had even planned to close the extra space downstairs but kept it open at our request. The house is perfectly located - 1 mile from the gorgeous, quaint center of Barnstable, but also less than 15 minute drive to the Cape Cod Mall, Whole Foods, Cape Cod Brewery, etc. The neighborhood was relaxed and peaceful but you are literally minutes from anything you could need. Thank you for a great stay, we'd love to come back soon!!"
