  • Beautiful home.

"The home and property are really lovely and in an ideal location. It is a beautifully decorated classic Cape home and very comfortable. We had some minor, ordinary logistical changes to our plans that arose. First, we wanted to pay to arrive one night earlier rather than staying in a hotel. Then, on our departure date there was a miscommunication relating to the departure time of one of our ten guests and her belongings were still in the home when the cleaning crew arrived. Ultimately, everything was resolved, but the owner was very anxious about both issues and a good bit of communication was required. I would advise to confirm all plans in detail ahead of time, which we would have preferred to do as well, but is not always possible with travel."

  • This One Was Just Right!

"We had a wonderful time at this adorable, tidy Cape home. Conveniently located for all our adventures for the week: Day Trip to Nantucket, paddle board lessons in Osterville, visit family in Harwich and just enjoying all the local beaches (Nauset, Craigville, Sandy Neck, Hyannis). The dog had a spectacular time as well. We would walk to the beach just before nightfall and enjoy the moonlight along the way. It was a bit hot early in the week, so the A/C was greatly appreciated. We brought a few meals along with us so the well-stocked kitchen was handy. Our last night we had lobsters from the local fish store. Quite delicious! Perfect four our family of four (and one furry creature)."

  • Excellent vacation house

"There were many factors that made this house perfect for our vacation. Most importantly, Peggy was wonderful to deal with and as a result, the whole experience was relatively stress free. The house itself, is spacious, clean and fully equipped. Our group consisted of my husband and I, our daughter, son-in-law and our 2 grandchildren aged 5 years and 2 1/2years and our son and future daughter-in-law. Each group had our own bathroom and all had our own bedroom (the children were in one room). The beach is 3 minutes down the road and for us, this made for the most wonderful family vacation. The house comes with beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler and even beach toys. Carrying some of these things plus having to hold onto 2 children can be daunting, but here, they could walk beside us, carrying their own little things and it was safe and fun. Having the outdoor shower to wash off all the sand was also nice. We walked to the marina to restaurants and to take the ferry to Nantucket; a walk easily managed by the 5 year old. We spent many evenings in the back garden enjoying the patio and barbecue. The house is spacious enough, that we never felt crowded, even on the one rainy day."

  • Fantastic Beach House

"We loved our stay at this house. We've rented six houses on the Cape over the years and this was definitely the best so far. The beach and water views from the veranda are outstanding and it was a joy to sit back and watch the sun going down (weather permitting). The house is well equipped and Dennis was a helpful and generous host. Barnstable village and the harbour are within walking distance. We particularly enjoyed the coffee at Nirvana and dining at The Dolphin restaurant. But the real star was the house, hopefully we'll be back one day!"
