  • What a great spot for a family vacation!!!

"We keep a boat in Yarmouth and spend a lot of time there so we wanted to rent close to the marina for a family vacation. When we saw the pictures of this house we knew it would work for us. The place is amazing nestled off the street in a grove of pines, so tranquil and private. The house is very cool with its barn like interior and great layout to accommodate the whole family. When the owners tell you everything thing is there for you it is. The owners take great pride in this property and it shows, they also make the whole rental process easy. We had such a great week we are booking for next year!!!""

  • Excellent value for the money!!

"We have been coming here for the last few years with two other families. You simply can't find a better value than staying here when visiting the Cape. It's centralized to just about anything you would want to do or see while on vacation. The cottages are various sizes to accommodate different size families. The cottage is always cleaned each week before you arrive and has just about everything you need to enjoy your stay. I always look forward to using the outdoor showers with the crisp morning air (there are indoor showers for those that require it). Nothing is more relaxing than sitting around the campfire in the evening with the kids making s'mores and meeting other families from different regions. We actually forget that we are on the Cape as there's a feeling of camping in the woods with the only noise coming from whatever we make (which we do admittedly make a lot). Audrey and her family have always been very friendly and open. They are always quick to answer any problem or request you may have. They have always taken time out of their never ending and very busy days to talk with us. I think some people are too critical when reviewing these cabins. These are not meant to be like staying at the Radisson or another high-end hotel. People have to realize these cabins bring families a little closer together with nature as well as each other. They are not perfect. They are small and quaint - they are meant to be this way. Another way of thinking about it - these are a few steps above camping. You are in the woods. You are going to have to deal with bugs. Wi-Fi does exist, but is not that great - but isn't being on vacation synonymous with unplugging from everyday life?? And yes - you will have to wash your own dishes. Simply put - you will not find a better value for the money than staying here while on the Cape. So leave your high-end expectations at home and learn to relax and enjoy yourself and your family."

  • Exactly what we'd hoped for - a real gem.

"This property was such a pleasant surprise for us. We were immediately struck by the curb appeal. Lovely grounds that are obviously well cared for. Upon entering the cottage we were impressed by how immaculate it was. Kathlene has really created a cozy little getaway here. Everything was comfortable and we had everything we could need - just add groceries! Kathlene was the perfect host, we truly enjoyed our time in the cottage. The location is such that you are in a nice, quiet area, but minutes away from stores, restaurants, and attractions. Windmill Beach was about a quarter mile away (walkable) with other town beaches not much further off. My family and I would go back in a second - we HATED to leave!! Thank you Kathlene and Tom, we hope to get down to visit again next year!"
