  • Comfort of Home

"Our Girl Scout Troop used this house for a girls weekend at the Cape in late September. When we arrived, the owners, Mimi and Scott were there to greet us at the door and show us around the house. As soon as we set foot in the main living room, the girls were in awe over how beautiful the house was and how cozy it felt. Mimi and Scott had left out many resources for us including maps, recommended site seeing locations, menus, etc. All of the rooms were equip with bedding, pillows, towels, toilet paper, air conditioners, and some travel essentials if needed, and the kitchen was fully stocked with all of the equipment we needed to feed 15 girls and 5 adults! We took the girls to a Cranberry Bog Tour only 10 minutes away from the house, walked the beach, and took advantage of the HUGE yard and grill! The only thing I was disappointed in, was the fact that we didn't have nearly enough time to get to experience all that the Cape has to offer! Mimi and Scott were such gracious hosts (and even put together a small event for our Girl Scout Troop!!!), and kindred spirits. We can't thank them enough for such an amazing weekend away!"

  • Highly recommended comfortable home

"The net is that we really felt comfortable at Woodchip. We cooked nearly every night at the house and were very pleased with the fully equiped kitchen. There was a handheld mixer, a mini food processor, and bbq grill which we actually used. Those are not things that we have found at other house rentals. The house was larger than we expected and felt very spacious. We felt relaxed in the evening watching Netflix on the couch after spending time at the nearby beaches. While we did walk to the Crosby Lane beach one day, it took us about 35 minutes. But we knew that it would take a while, but just wanted to point out the walking time. Plus, while Brewster is a very nice area, it does not have the traditional main street experience like Chatham or the over the top Provincetown. But we are very grateful to the owners because we had a family emergency during our originally scheduled rental period and even though the contract was very clear that they required a 60 day notice of any changes, they were extremely kind to offer us an alternative rental period. So, they were both very responsive and generous. We would highly recommend others to rent this house."

  • A Wonderful Place to Stay

"My family of seven and my pup thoroughly enjoyed this past week at this Brewster oasis. The house was impeccably clean and nicely decorated. There was plenty of room for all and some great outside areas to enjoy as well. All linens were provided and the kitchen had everything you might need. The fishing on Walker Pond was amazing. We brought kayaks and spent much of our time on the lake but also took advantage of the Cape Cod Rail Trail, the Wefleet Drive-in and the many quaint shops in the town of Brewster. Our hosts Mimi and Scott were very welcoming and had even met me at the home during the winter months so I could get a sneak peek before our stay! I highly recommend this rental and hope to stay there again!"

  • Great property in great location in Brewster

"My family of four with two children ages 8 and 10 stayed for a long weekend at the beginning of summer. House was charming with bright, sunny kitchen. Kids loved claw-foot tub. Nice to have such large front and back yards. Kids played ball and rode bikes on property. Owner was responsive and easy to work with. Close to heart of Brewster. Loved the Brewster General Store. Kids took books out from the Brewster Ladies Library. Very close to rail trail for biking. Took in free baseball game at local elementary school (also close). Did kayaking and SUP at Nicholson State Park. Definitely recommend the Museum of Natural History in Brewster. Thanks, Mia, for a great weekend!"
