  • Great house for a big group!

"We rented this house for 2 weeks in late July/early August. It's location on the bayside mid-Cape was ideal. The nearby Brewster beaches were wonderful with their warmer waters and large expanses of beach at low tide, especially for younger children. Chairs and umbrellas were provided as well as some beach towels! Driving to other sites of interest on the Cape was easy from this location. Cape Cod league baseball was a big hit! The house was ideal for our large family. The bedrooms were all of a good size and the beds were comfortable. The washer and dryer worked well. There were plenty of quality towels provided. The outdoor shower was more than a small stall, quite big, actually, maybe about 5x5 feet with a nice privacy enclosure. The downstairs living area with its bar with beer taps was a fun thing for the adults. Darts, pool table, fussball all added to the fun. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of nice dishes, glasses and tableware. Things one doesn't usually find in a rental were there: stick blender, rice cooker (awesome!), large coffee carafe, big bowls, big pots. The two refrigerators, one upstairs, one downstairs, were great to have. Outdoors were a smoker and a gas grill both of which we used. Both worked well. The decks were ideal for hanging out when we were at home. The upper deck was used every evening. It was just a comfy and quiet place to hang out. The large back deck was wonderful for seating lots of people at the two long tables that were there. Plenty of chairs are provided. The large fully fenced backyard had lots of trees for shade and lots of space for that impromptu baseball game (kid-sized game!). Although there are adjacent properties, the backyard remained private place due to tree and shrub locations. All in all, this was a great house for our large family vacation. We would rent here again. Owners were quickly responsive to questions, and provided a well written set of instructions for check in and check out as well as points of interest. Thanks for sharing your house!"

  • Excellent condition and location

"We rented this house for one week in August 2016. The owner provided detailed instructions and was very helpful in answering questions, making our stay effortless. The house itself is in almost-new condition (only two years old), was extremely clean, and was very thoughtfully stocked with linens, towels, kitchen equipment, books, games, beach chairs, and toys. The common kitchen and living areas on the top floor are beautiful and there is a deck with a good water view through nearby houses and trees. The outdoor shower was a must-have after a sandy day on the beach. We had seven people staying in the house and it felt very spacious and could easily have accommodated more. The house is set back a few houses from the water, so it is about a two minute walk down a sandy path to get to the beach. It was easily close enough to go back to the house regularly for supplies and toddler naps. The beach itself it a beautiful private beach that was never crowded, a nice contrast to the nearby visibly crowded Ellis Landing and Ocean Edge Resort beaches. The beach has something for everyone: there is good swimming in high tide, and in low tide it is possible to walk out almost a mile in ankle deep water through tide pools filled with crabs and fish. Lastly, the house is within a very quick drive (or bike ride) of all of the main restaurants and shops in Brewster. We would very highly recommend this home."

  • Just right.

"Impeccably clean, well appointed, and as described on VRBO. We wanted a quiet spot, close to a beach, but still close to other activities the Cape offers. We biked, used the provided kayaks, strolled the beach, grilled seafood in the quiet backyard, and enjoyed the fire pit. Easy car trip access to the rest of the Cape - shops, parks, restaurants, etc. Perfect for a relaxing getaway."

  • Great property! Beautifully equipped and decorated.

"The location of the property is fairly close to the main entrance and was about a mile from either pools on the Villages side. We rented bikes for the week which was a big help in getting around the resort. We opted to purchase pool passes and didn't really use them much"
