  • Nice house; great location

"Three related families spent new years eve weekend here and the house was great! Easy access to beach walks and area events. House was well equipped to handle all of us and Owner was great to deal with. We can highly recommend this house in winter!"

  • Great week to end the summer

"We really enjoyed this house for our vacation on the Cape to end the summer. The house was in great condition when we arrived and the location was a short drive/bike to town, the First Pier, and the supermarket. Sue (owner) was great in both her communication before our arrival and in response to questions during our stay. We had plenty of room for a family of four and two grandparents who joined for part of the week. The backyard was a great place for the kids to play when we were between activities. One suggestion - the driveway is steep, which is typically not a problem but when we had a hitch bike rack attached to the car we scraped a little on the way in/out. However, there's plenty of room to park at the top of the driveway, so this is easily avoidable and equally convenient to parking in the driveway."

  • Greatest Girl Vacation

"This is the perfect home for 4 friends, each having their own room. It was like two perfect homes, the upper level with two master bedrooms and a living room and then the downstairs with another living room with two separate bedrooms. The view always beautiful, the air flowed from front windows to the back windows (never needed the air conditioner on) the home immaculate and very well prepared for each family. The nicest family to accommodate all of your needs. Just perfect."

  • Great Location, Great Home!

"We've stayed on the Cape many, many times and have stayed in Chatham always. We like to stay within a short walk to the village because of traffic and parking. This year we booked a little late and couldn't find anything as close as we wanted - enter this wonderful home. First to note, this is a home - not a house that someone bought to rent out and minimally furnished - and the feel of it is comfortable and welcoming. The distance to town center is less than a 5 min drive, and 15/20 min walk (which we did several times). I will say the location of the house is great and we weren't affected by not being directly in town. I will also add that 5 min of the walk into town is on Olde Queen Anne Road, which doesn't have a sidewalk, and is busy with traffic. Once you hit the sidewalk, easy walk into town. The house is as described, along with towels, bed linens, and beach supplies. The beach towels are on the small side, so maybe bring your own. The kitchen is well equipped; the grill is new and works great; the screened-in porch and deck are very nice with a nice view of Perch Pond, and lots of seating. The bedrooms were comfortable and all had ceiling fans and plenty of clothing storage. Bathrooms aplenty. They were clean and with good water pressure. Oh, and the central air -- wonderful (we had several 90 degree days). All in all, a great place to stay."
