  • Near beaches, good location.

"Stayed in 46 Little Beach Road over Labor day and the week following. The house sits across from two other larger homes that front the beach. No thru traffic to the parking, but a road runs behind 46 Little Beach. A lightly traveled road and the house is elevated, so noise wasn't a problem. Didn't have to use the air conditioner, but I wouldn't want it running and trying to sleep right beside it. The house has what you'd want in a 1 bedroom house. There are the usual signs of use but it was clean and well equipped. The front window blind doesn't work and should be fixed or replaced. We didn't use the grill and can't speak to how it works, but there is one. It would be tight to have 4 people with 2 on the pullout couch. The kitchen was well equipped with pans and such. There are a couple of steamers for clams and lobster. It is a fairly short walk to Chatham Lighthouse beach, and from there you can walk a long way and not run out of sand. You can also walk to the beach on the path through the marsh. It's not a short walk carrying things to spend the day on the beach down the path, but the beach is very secluded and expansive. It's probably close to 1/2 a mile or so. Very short drive to Monomoy Wildlife Preserve, where you can acsess the beach. All in all, as a 2 person stay, I'd stay here again due to location (easier drives to other places on the cape), and value is what is a high market area."

  • A gem!

"Property was as described. It is small, but just enough for the two of us. The guest book indicated that a few renters had one or two small kids, but I can't imagine it with 4 adults or even 2 older children. The sitting/LR only seats 3 and the TV is small 27". The steps to the loft are VERY steep and narrow, no one with any knee/walking problem. Clean and rustic with great old wall murals. Grounds were great w/outside shower (we never used the inside shower). Grounds are shared with two other rentals but good plantings make it fairly private, however if you had partiers in the other rentals it might be too much, we were lucky and had great neighbors. Also dogs would share this lawn. The house is right against (in fact you park in it) a boatyard for wooden boats so you may hear hammering and sawing. As sailors we were right at home. While small, the owners have made great use of space with hidden shelves, hooks etc. for storage, however the kitchen/food storage areas are small. Table folds to increase space. I wouldn't plan any big meals not done on the grill. We will be back."

  • Exceeded Our High Expectations

"We had a group of 8 people staying for Labor Day weekend and a wedding. The owners were very easy to work with and very accommodating. Anytime we had a question we could email, call or text and the owners would respond very promptly. Everything was as advertised or better: the views, the condition of the house, dry cleaning service, lawn area, grill, distance to beach, distance to town center etc. We could not have had a better time at the house. Honestly, would not have changed a single thing about the house."

  • Loved the cottage!!

"My husband and I stayed at the cottage for 4 nights. Loved the cottage! Great location, tastefully decorated, clean and very comfortable. Equipped with everything that you need. The outdoor shower was a plus! We enjoyed meeting the owners, Debra and Mark. They made us feel very welcome and was helpful as far as suggesting restaurants and things to do in the area. I will definitely be back."
