  • Can't Wait to Go Back!

"What a perfect house in a perfect location. Our family went in July- we had 9 adults and 1 toddler. This was our first time in this house- we had more family going this year and needed a larger house. The view was wonderful and it was a very quick and easy walk to town. While off a main road, it really wasn't noisy. I don't recall feeling like there was a lot of traffic or hearing the cars. The house was quite spacious, yet warm. You can tell a lot of thought was put in every detail. There were several areas to congregate as a family, but it was also possible to find a quiet place to sit and read. There was plenty of room for all of us. I'll provide some specifics just to help other readers. We brought a toddler mattress for our son to sleep on the floor as typically homes don't come equipped with beds that have guard rails. There is a small bedroom on the first floor- it is for one person with a single bed. It's actually quite quaint and cozy, but it's really a small room you would only sleep in. It is connected to a nice den though, so it can feel like a nice extension to the room. There is also a full bathroom right next to it. It's almost like a little studio apartment within the house. There is also another regular size bedroom on the first floor. There is a very nice full bath right next to it. Upstairs there are three bedrooms. The master suite overlooks Oyster Pond and has a very nice full bathroom in it. Very spacious. There is a slightly smaller bedroom that is very nice and cozy that has a full bath attached. From this bedroom you can walk into more of what feels like a loft bedroom-the one with the twin beds in the picture. There is also a back staircase to access this other bedroom, so you do not have to walk through one bedroom to get to another. This loft bedroom has a half bath. This is a great room for young kids, but you do have to be careful with the back staircase since it's pretty steep. As far as kids go, we managed it well with one toddler. There are a lot of breakable things in this house, so I probably wouldn't recommend it if really small children outnumber the parents. That being said, it still felt like a home, so it is a great family environment. There were plenty of fun things for our son to play with. Overall this was a wonderful house. We truly loved being there and can't wait to come back. Wish we could do it every summer!"

  • Comfortable Home in Great Location

"My husband, son, and I enjoyed our stay at this cottage very much. It is in a really great location - close to the grocery store, CVS, shopping, restaurants, playground, beaches, etc. The home has two mini-split AC systems that are fantastic and quiet. The home is spotlessly clean and well-stocked with everything you might need from kitchen items to beach toys and chairs. We spent several days at a few different beaches - Harding's Beach and Lighthouse Beach in Chatham , and Nauset Beach which is part of the National Seashore. We stayed the week prior to Labor Day, and the beaches were all still very lovely to visit at this time of year. We greatly look forward to our next visit to the Chatham area, and we would definitely stay at this home again. It is very comfortable, and it feels as though you are staying in someone's home - not just a rental. It is tastefully decorated and extremely warm and inviting. I can't recommend this home enough! Also, for those bringing small children as we did (our son was 15 months at our visit), there is a wonderfully accommodating company nearby called Kid & Kaboodle that rents baby equipment. We rented items such as a crib, high chair, stroller, and baby gate, which made our stay even more comfortable. They offer free delivery and pick up of these items, so they were waiting for us outside the door upon our arrival! Just wanted to throw that there in case it is helpful for others!"

  • Perfect Cape House... even in the winter!

"This was our second stay at this lovely home, so we obviously love it! Great location, clean, updated and lots of amenities inside! Not having to bring towels and linens is a big bonus about staying here. It is also a kid friendly house with bunk beds and kid plates, bowls, some toys and even a folding stool in the bathroom so they can reach the sink. The owners are so easy to work with and are extremely responsive to any inquiries. We plan to book this house again, in any season!"

  • Quiet luxury on the waterfront

"Our family gathered from all over the country for the memorial service for our mother. The house was large enough to comfortably accommodate us all, was restful and quiet, and allowed us to enjoy our time together. The kitchen was modern and well-stocked with cooking items, the table was large enough to seat us all, and the outdoor patio overlooking the water was a wonderful place to relax. The only possible downside is that linens and towels are not provided, which is not typical for other VRBO properties we have rented. Overall, it was well worth the price, and is a perfect location for a quiet get-away."
