  • A gem!

"Property was as described. It is small, but just enough for the two of us. The guest book indicated that a few renters had one or two small kids, but I can't imagine it with 4 adults or even 2 older children. The sitting/LR only seats 3 and the TV is small 27". The steps to the loft are VERY steep and narrow, no one with any knee/walking problem. Clean and rustic with great old wall murals. Grounds were great w/outside shower (we never used the inside shower). Grounds are shared with two other rentals but good plantings make it fairly private, however if you had partiers in the other rentals it might be too much, we were lucky and had great neighbors. Also dogs would share this lawn. The house is right against (in fact you park in it) a boatyard for wooden boats so you may hear hammering and sawing. As sailors we were right at home. While small, the owners have made great use of space with hidden shelves, hooks etc. for storage, however the kitchen/food storage areas are small. Table folds to increase space. I wouldn't plan any big meals not done on the grill. We will be back."

  • 5 star Fabulous !

"3 special couples in this special house ! The location was perfect for us ..we could walk to town ...we didn't cook a thing ( despite the fully equipped kitchen ) because there were too many great restaurants around for breakfast , lunch and dinner.. a true vacation ! the house itself was spotless and welcoming . We will be returning next fall .. Carol,Paul,Helen,Tony,Terry and Don"

  • An outstanding place to enjoy a family vacation!

"Our extended famil y of 12 (ages 2 to 76) enjoyed a glorious week at theis fabulous home. Since my wife grew up on Cape Cod, and since we live in the Boston area, we were fully aware of the many amenities and activities in the surrounding area. As noted by other reviewers, this is a most comfortable home - and it really is described by Jaime. It was well designed with large and inviting rooms. The kitchen is well laid out and overly stocked with plates, glasses, utensils, etc. Having two refrigerators was a major benefit since our children brought several prepared meals and produce, and there was ample room for cold drinks, etc. The biggest attraction for the children was Goose Pond. Most of us hiked there each day with the beach chairs, etc, going by car. Evenings in front of the fire pit or running on the flats at low tide in Dennis were memorable times as well. We had visited the house in June when Jaime and Michele were present. We found them charming and most accomodating. This association carried over by e-mail during our stay and after we left. Needless to say, we are eager to return."

  • Delightful!

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is close to a private lake, the beach, a wildlife preserve, restaurants, and shopping. The cottage was bigger than it appears because there are cathedral ceilings, a deck, and multiple windows for cross breezes. The cottage community was very quiet. Helene was very thorough and thoughful in anticipating a guest's needs. I recommend this cottage and plan to return."
