  • Everything was perfect!

"We recently stayed at this home for a girls weekend and everything about the home was perfect. It was even better than we expected! There is a great outdoor space too with an outdoor shower! Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance from the home. If you would rather drive, you are only a few minutes from the downtown area. We spent an afternoon at Oyster Pond, which is only a few steps from the home. It was quiet and beautiful. The home itself is situated on a very quiet street. It was everything we wanted! The kitchen is beautiful and the big table was perfect to accommodate our large sit-down dinner. The home was very clean and truly beautiful. The large and numerous bathrooms were perfect for our group. There are two living room areas that easily accommodated a larger group! The separate cottage is perfect for someone who wants a little privacy! I fell in love with Chatham and will definitely be back! In addition, the owners were very nice and great to work with!"

  • A perfect week

"We had a small family reunion with 4 adult children, some spouses, a couple kids and dogs, and the grandparents. The home fit us all comfortably. There was space to gather and to get some peace away from the crowd. The kitchen was great, with everything you need to feed such a crowd, including an outdoor bbq grill. Arguably the best feature of the property is the location, with a shallow bay and Stage Harbor right 150 yards out the back door. We brought our own kayak (they have a couple available in the garage as well) and spent a lot of time tooling around and watching the kite boarders. Walk a short trail over the dunes and you are on what is essentially your own private beach. Our 7 and 9 year old boys had a blast in the shallow water. When the wind kicked up there were even some small waves to play in. Lots of nature to see and explore - Osprey, herons, terns, deer, sand crabs, horseshoe crabs, seals far offshore. We had a wonderful time and would return again in a heartbeat."

  • Best Vacation Ever!

"Our family, which now includes 3 young adult children and 2 dogs, have been vacationing on the Cape for 23 years. This was by far one of our most favorite houses to rent. The space was perfect for us and had all the amenities we could ever want. The master bedroom wing was private and our dogs felt comfortable staying in there when we would leave them for a few hours to go to the beach. The loft over the garage was used a couple of nights by my 18 year old daughter and a few of her friends who were also vacationing on the Cape. When we found the toaster not to be working properly , we let the owners know and they had one shipped right away to us from Amazon! Thanks Evelyn and Dave! We hope to return next year."

  • Perfect Home!!!

"The Barn Hill House could not have been better for our trip. The location was perfect for traveling up and down the Cape to our destinations -- easy access and very convenient. The house had everything we needed as far as amenities go -- it was very spacious for 6 adults and 4 kids. The scenery was incredible; immaculate garden and the huge yard absolutely made our trip. Close access to the beach, Chatham's amazing restaurants and several area beaches. Could go on and on, but to sum it up, an absolutely PERFECT place to visit. Coming to the Barn Hill House has become our yearly tradition!!!"
