  • Nice cottage with convenient Chatham location.

"This cottage is only 500 feet from Chatham's Main St. and the organic grocer, but it was on a very quiet cul de sac; no noise at night for sleeping. There were only two of us, but there are 3 bedrooms for bigger groups. A great room off the enclosed porch entrance combined the dining room, family/tv room and kitchen. A propane grill was just outside the kitchen door. There is A/C, but only used one day since weather was perfect. Wifi is great; there is also xfinity cable but we did not turn on TV since so much else to do. Almost everything we wanted to do was within 20 min of the cottage, including Ptown/Wellfleet, the lighthouse beach in Chatham, Eastham/Orleans/national seashores, Brewster/Nickerson State Park, Hyannis ferry to Nantucket, Cockle Cove beach in Chatham, Cape Cod Bay beaches, and of course the mile long shopping on Chatham's Main Street. We cooked in and ate out, enjoying Monomoy coffee shop in Chatham, Winslow restaurant in Wellfleet, Lobster Shanty in Eastham, Chatham inn restaurant on Main in Chatham, Slip 14 on Nantucket, Buffy's and Emack's ice cream in Chatham, etc. There were so many choices it was hard to choose. There is the organic grocer and the Chatham village grocery store, both on Main, and a bigger Stop&Shop grocery less than 10 min away on Hwy 137. In a nutshell, this was a great cottage for us to launch our daily excursions, and a very relaxing cottage to return to..."

  • A wonderful home for a large group.

"We spent Thanksgiving week here with our three girls who attend college on the east coast. In addition we hosted four of their friends who could not get home to the west coast for the holiday. The pictures are very accurate and much larger that it looks. There was ample room for all of us (9). Two fireplace provided great atmosphere along with the large backyard. The location is close to Chatham 15-20 min walk. Plus the surrounding neighborhood is lovely. I would recommend this home to all. Thank you. Craig C. - Orinda CA"

  • Charming cottage, great location

"Had a great week at this charming, comfortable cottage! The home was clean, beautifully furnished, well organized, and the kitchen amply supplied. Sue, the owner, was helpful and accessible for questions. Located on a quiet and pretty side street, it's an easy walk to town with lots of shops and dining choices and to local beaches. It's also a convenient launching pad for drives to Hyannis to catch the ferry to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard or to other local picturesque towns for exploring. It's hard to imagine a better place to stay in lovely Chatham MA!"

  • Fantastic cottage charm

"This beach cottage getaway was exactly what we needed! The house itself is very quaint, and has all of the amenities that we needed, but it's number 1 asset is the location. The Mill Pond is a few hundred yards away, and the kayaking was great. Lots of fish and a few seals cursing around in between the boats. For the ocean side, Lighthouse Beach is about 2 blocks away, but there is also a quieter beach at the end of Water Street that we used more often. The kids loved seeing all of the seals from the shore, but also took a boat tour for a closer view of the masses. It was great to stay in a pace that had a kitchen, and we took advantage by cooking a handful of meals that we ate outside on the deck, A short walk to Main Street gave us most of our other dining and plenty of shopping. A 5 minute drive to Chatham Seaside Links provided a little local 9 hole golf fun. For bigger golf, we drove about 25 minutes to Ocean Edge Resort to play a Nicklaus course, and that was fantastic. For a more extravagant snacks and sunset cocktails, we visited The Chatham Bars Inn and sat on the porch to look out over the water. The owners were super accommodating, and easy to work with. We had the pleasure of meeting them just before we left, and let them know that we will be back for other visits, for sure. We would highly recommend staying here!!!"
