  • Amazing Home - walkable to the beach and downtown Chatham!

"I loved staying at this house - it was perfect for the 13 of us that were their for a team retreat. The kitchen was great for cooking - we had about 4-5 people helping at a time plus those on the grill and it made for a seamless process. There were tons of pots and pans and platters for us to use for the feasts we made! The décor in the house was great as well - beachy with a polished antique finish. I am from the South Shore and this felt like the house I grew up in. The two living rooms were great and super relaxing. The cottage was also much larger than expected with a large living room. We also felt like there were more than enough bathrooms and no one was ever waiting on someone else to get out. We all went to the beach when we got there and walked the 4 minutes to Oyster Pond. While it isn't the main beach it was perfect for our group and we loved swimming out to the floating docks. At night we also went to the Squire and it was about a 10 minute walk, which on a clear summer night was awesome! Would love to stay here again!"

  • Excellent!

"We have been renting this property since 2011 for our annual 2-week vacation in Cape Cod and have become addicted to its comforts and facilities. We have found it highly user-friendly. It is about a mile from the nearest beach, which is what we prefer to any house right on the beach. The Cornfield, where the Blue Door is located, is a quiet lane off Route 28 and the town center is a short drive away or a pleasant mile-long walk which we often take. A seafood store is a 3-minute walk from the cottage. Our children and grandchildren love the place and its surroundings with its spacious patches of green at the back and front. We have not met the owner personally but have always found her to be most gracious and helpful when contacted through email or phone, (unlike the somewhat indifferent owner of another place we had rented in 2015 when the Blue Door had not been available). We hope to rent the Blue Door many times in the years to come."

  • A charming place in an excellent location.

"The house dates from 1826 and is very charming. It is a 2 minute walk to Main St and all the restaurants etc of Chatham. The owners were very nice people and very attentive without being intrusive. We are a family of 4 and really enjoyed our time in Chatham and found the accommodation met our needs well. Highly recommended. We liked the atmosphere of The Squire. Tip - phone first to get on the waiting list. Not as keen on the Goose. We found the Chatham Market to be very expensive for groceries. Instead we used the Stop and Shop a few miles away."

  • Perfect Cape Getaway!

"This cabin is perfect if you want to stay close to Chatham but want your own place away from the busy Chatham tourist activity. It's close enough to town that you can bike there in minutes and just far away enough to let you have your own quiet place to relax at the end of the day. Our kids were able to bike to Hardings beach and my wife and I biked to the Monomoy Coffee Company in Chatham every morning for coffee and pastries. Pond is the perfect size for canoeing and kayaking, which we did. The owner was great! Paul is very easy to reach and made sure we had everything we needed for a great vacation. We can't wait for next summer!"
