  • Couldn't have been better!

"Having never rented a HomeAway house before, we were very pleased to discover that it was just as it was described online. The photos did it justice, but what you couldnt see very well, was the surrounding area, and let me say, the location was awesome. A close walk to town, a lovely golf course nearby, and an easy walk to the beach. All the houses surrounding it were beautiful to look at, too. -The great, old, Cape Cod, coastal look. The amenities within the house were perfect. The kitchen was well stocked, the tv was excellent in the living room, and each bedroom had a television, as well. Yes, we would rent it again, because the floorplan was the best ever for the 6 of us that stayed there. Plenty of room and bright and cheery within. The owners were fantastic to talk to and were quite helpful with many details. There is absolutely no reason not to rent this house. We enjoyed it very much! We are happy to promote it."

  • Beautiful setting in great location

"Our family of three couples and a toddler spent a wonderful week in this lovely home. Some of the standouts for us: just 10 minutes or less to all of the Chatham beaches, and 20 minutes to Nauset; updated kitchen with gas stove and all necessary cookware; ping pong table for many family competitions; private, landscaped gardens with patio and grill where we enjoyed all of our dinners; quiet beautiful neighborhood for morning walks, paved driveway for toddler to bikeride; and beautifully furnished throughout. I'm sure we'll be back!"

  • A gem!

"Property was as described. It is small, but just enough for the two of us. The guest book indicated that a few renters had one or two small kids, but I can't imagine it with 4 adults or even 2 older children. The sitting/LR only seats 3 and the TV is small 27". The steps to the loft are VERY steep and narrow, no one with any knee/walking problem. Clean and rustic with great old wall murals. Grounds were great w/outside shower (we never used the inside shower). Grounds are shared with two other rentals but good plantings make it fairly private, however if you had partiers in the other rentals it might be too much, we were lucky and had great neighbors. Also dogs would share this lawn. The house is right against (in fact you park in it) a boatyard for wooden boats so you may hear hammering and sawing. As sailors we were right at home. While small, the owners have made great use of space with hidden shelves, hooks etc. for storage, however the kitchen/food storage areas are small. Table folds to increase space. I wouldn't plan any big meals not done on the grill. We will be back."

  • Wonderful well equipped home in a fabulous private setting with water views!

"We stayed here for a family wedding in Chatham the weekend of October 1st! The property is very well kept, super clean and has everything you need for a fun stay on the Cape! The finished basement area allows for two families to have their own separate areas which we just loved! Communication with the owner could not be easier and this rental feels like you are staying in someone's home not a hotel so what could be better! We would not hesitate to stay here again! Thank you!"
