  • Perfect Everything!

"I originally chose this cottage as a girls' getaway weekend thank you gift to my mom for helping me plan my July'16 wedding. It was the perfect size for the two of us and great location. Eva (the owner) had emailed us a long list of activity suggestions before we arrived to kind of give us the lay of the land since neither of us had been to Cape Cod prior. Once we arrived we were blown away by how quaint the outside of the cottage was but even more pleasantly surprised once we entered. The layout was perfect and decor looked Home & Garden magazine-worthy. The location was perfect - a 3 minute walk to whale watching (which we highly recommend - we saw 13 whales extremely close to our boat), the beach only a short walk away and Hyannis, not even a 5 minute car ride away. It truly was the perfect weekend and this cottage felt like home at the end of our 2.5 day stay. We actually looked forward to going back and relaxing on the front porch with a glass of wine. Eva was a delight to work with and secure our reservation and if we decide to go back to the Cape (which we are already talking about doing), we would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you Eva!"

  • Fantastic cottage charm

"This beach cottage getaway was exactly what we needed! The house itself is very quaint, and has all of the amenities that we needed, but it's number 1 asset is the location. The Mill Pond is a few hundred yards away, and the kayaking was great. Lots of fish and a few seals cursing around in between the boats. For the ocean side, Lighthouse Beach is about 2 blocks away, but there is also a quieter beach at the end of Water Street that we used more often. The kids loved seeing all of the seals from the shore, but also took a boat tour for a closer view of the masses. It was great to stay in a pace that had a kitchen, and we took advantage by cooking a handful of meals that we ate outside on the deck, A short walk to Main Street gave us most of our other dining and plenty of shopping. A 5 minute drive to Chatham Seaside Links provided a little local 9 hole golf fun. For bigger golf, we drove about 25 minutes to Ocean Edge Resort to play a Nicklaus course, and that was fantastic. For a more extravagant snacks and sunset cocktails, we visited The Chatham Bars Inn and sat on the porch to look out over the water. The owners were super accommodating, and easy to work with. We had the pleasure of meeting them just before we left, and let them know that we will be back for other visits, for sure. We would highly recommend staying here!!!"

  • Well maintained house in great location!

"We stayed for a week in this house. It was walking distance to a beach, short driving distance to a number of others. We were able to find one we loved that was a 10 minute walk from the house. Easy walk to Main street Hyannis with all the shops and restaurants and close to the marina which the kids loved. House fully stocked with towels, dishes, soap, laundry detergent, etc. I just bought food and then it was just like home. Never heard the kids say they were bored with all the toys and games! The backyard included a great deck set with a grill and an outdoor shower which the whole family loved. Yard was fenced in so that was a plus as well. The owners really thought of everything to make it enjoyable. We had a wonderful time."
