  • Great family vacation

"We have been visiting the Cape for many summers. We love the town of Chatham. We also love the area of Morris Island. The house was clean and a good size for our family. We have 3 kids ages 9, 7, and 5. The children loved the loft area. The outdoor shower was a treat. Having a washer and dryer was also a huge plus for our family. The walk to Lighthouse Beach was about 5 to 10mins with little ones. The walk to the private beach was about the same. We enjoyed exploring for crabs and seals. I would recommend this home. It is close to all the best parts of Chatham. Thank you."

  • Nice cottage with convenient Chatham location.

"This cottage is only 500 feet from Chatham's Main St. and the organic grocer, but it was on a very quiet cul de sac; no noise at night for sleeping. There were only two of us, but there are 3 bedrooms for bigger groups. A great room off the enclosed porch entrance combined the dining room, family/tv room and kitchen. A propane grill was just outside the kitchen door. There is A/C, but only used one day since weather was perfect. Wifi is great; there is also xfinity cable but we did not turn on TV since so much else to do. Almost everything we wanted to do was within 20 min of the cottage, including Ptown/Wellfleet, the lighthouse beach in Chatham, Eastham/Orleans/national seashores, Brewster/Nickerson State Park, Hyannis ferry to Nantucket, Cockle Cove beach in Chatham, Cape Cod Bay beaches, and of course the mile long shopping on Chatham's Main Street. We cooked in and ate out, enjoying Monomoy coffee shop in Chatham, Winslow restaurant in Wellfleet, Lobster Shanty in Eastham, Chatham inn restaurant on Main in Chatham, Slip 14 on Nantucket, Buffy's and Emack's ice cream in Chatham, etc. There were so many choices it was hard to choose. There is the organic grocer and the Chatham village grocery store, both on Main, and a bigger Stop&Shop grocery less than 10 min away on Hwy 137. In a nutshell, this was a great cottage for us to launch our daily excursions, and a very relaxing cottage to return to..."

  • Great home away from home!

"We can't express how pleased we were with this house. The place is full of charm, rustic and immediately makes you feel relaxed. We are a family of five and there was plenty of room for all of us to enjoy. We appreciated the location, close to the beaches and downtown, yet in a quiet setup with just nature in the background. The house is full of books, games for the kids and beach stuff. Our three kids enjoyed sleeping in the same room upstairs with three twin beds. Outside, you can see egrets and herons on the cranberry bog just down the path and have a glass of wine on the spacious deck. Since the rates were so reasonnable for a Cape house, we treated ourselves with a two-week vacation, which is so much better. The owners were really kind to deal with and we can't think of any negative aspect about this house."

  • Excellent stay!

"Three couples shared this house over the New Year's holiday. It was absolutely great! Loved the layout and decor in the house. It was exactly as advertised. We all loved it and will return and spend more time!"
