  • Clean, cozy, centrally located

"We enjoyed the location for kayaking, sailing, and SUP. If you like to paddle, the ride down the Bass River to the sound is a nice one. We also enjoyed swimming and looking for little water critters off the dock. It was a great central point for exploring the CCRT (although the road to get to the rail trail is quite busy with a small shoulder and not safely bikable for children, which the owner had fully disclosed ahead of time when I asked), and for going to sound, bay and oceanside beaches. We loved Gray's Beach and Flax Pond nearby, and Coast Guard and Nauset Beaches were an easy drive. The owner was very communicative, friendly and helpful. She made a great recommendation for Sesuit Harbor Cafe for a scenic spot and delicious lobster roll. The cottage was super clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the spacious deck for outdoor dining. The owner graciously allowed us to have 8 people and a dog, but 4 adults and 4 children inside did feel a bit cramped. I would highly recommend this place for a group/family of 4-6 people. The cottage is on the road to the public boat launch, but it never felt too noisy or crowded. The association beach was nice and the kids had fun on the water trampoline, but it is a 5 minute walk away either on the road or along a non-trail on the shore. Overall, it was a great experience. We rent a waterfront home for a week every summer, and this one ranked at the top in the categories of cleanliness and owner communications."

  • So pleased!

"The cottage was immaculate when we arrived & getting up in the morning, having coffee on the front deck then walking the very short distance to the most beautiful beach, allowed us to have a wonderful vacation! Also a plus, was everything we needed to pick up groceries or go out for a casual or not so casual meal was in close proximity to the cottage."

  • Christmas on the Cape

"We had a wonderful Christmas visit! I would come back to this property in a minute. Everything about it was perfect, from the well equipped kitchen with its fully working antique stove, to the newer rear sunroom where we spent most of our time. We had 9 people for most dinners and never felt crowded. The details and work that Cindy and Harry have invested in the house and grounds is mind boggling. We even had a Christmas tree and decorations in one of the parlors, making it a perfect room for opening presents. OH! I can't forget about the sheep! They were so cute with each having distinct personalities. Loved going out to visit them multiple times each day. An added perk: The weather was perfect for walks to the nearby beaches. I can't wait to go visit the property in the summer to see the magnificent flower plantings and hope to stay there again soon."

  • Lots of room to relax after a day at the beach!!

"Great location and layout! The house is very close to a large park with a playground and is walking distance to a lovely beach. The yard is big, fenced in & very inviting. Coffee on the deck in the morning was so relaxing. The house was roomy and very comfortable. Kitchen was a good size with everything we needed and the dining room table was the best..... plenty of room for lots of food and family to gather around! It is obvious the owners are very conscientious and made sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend."
