  • a little bit of heaven

"We owned a cottage on a NH lake for over twenty years, where packing essentially involved a toothbrush. After selling a few years ago, we set out to explore Cape Cod. Renting (on line) is always a little risky- we never know exactly what we will find. But we have found a piece of paradise in this house, and near Dennis beaches! The house has everything it claims and more. It is beautifully set up, fully stocked with necessities, and lovely to spend time in, The large screened in porch, especially, is a delightful place to eat, read, have early AM coffee, and listen to the birds. The quiet street gives a feeling of being far away from the real world. And yet, the most beautiful beaches on the Cape are a short walk away. In addition to Bayview and Mayflower, Dennis has other beaches with charm: Howe, a family beach with waves, Corporation, with its chipwiches and café, and Chapin, with its endless flats at low tide. All in all, we just returned from a lovely week in Dennis, and can’t wait to go back next summer. Thank you Marilyn."

  • Good Times

"Our children and grandchildren enjoyed our stay immensely with the big back yard for soccer and enough bedrooms for all. The deck that accommodated all 12 of us, and the glorious weather, allowed us to eat every meal outside. We loved Seagull Beach, but it's not a short walk; it's a 2.3 mile walk. It is an easy walk to miniature golf, though. W. Yarmouth is a good location with easy drives to other Cape Cod attractions like the National Seashore, kayaking and the Cape Cod Rail Trail for biking. Fun times, for sure."

  • Exactly what we'd hoped for - a real gem.

"This property was such a pleasant surprise for us. We were immediately struck by the curb appeal. Lovely grounds that are obviously well cared for. Upon entering the cottage we were impressed by how immaculate it was. Kathlene has really created a cozy little getaway here. Everything was comfortable and we had everything we could need - just add groceries! Kathlene was the perfect host, we truly enjoyed our time in the cottage. The location is such that you are in a nice, quiet area, but minutes away from stores, restaurants, and attractions. Windmill Beach was about a quarter mile away (walkable) with other town beaches not much further off. My family and I would go back in a second - we HATED to leave!! Thank you Kathlene and Tom, we hope to get down to visit again next year!"

  • Perfect Getaway

"What a lovely week we've spent at the "Little Blue Cottage!" The house was perfect for our needs. It was clean and neat and well-decorated with a beach decor. The neighborhood was private and quiet. We especially enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch and spending a morning or evening at the private beach. In the afternoons, we were close to everything and spent time at beaches on both the bay and sound. Our little dog, Mopsy, found this to be an accommodating place too! We enjoyed exploring many different nearby paths for her walk. Thank you for a lovely September getaway! Lyn and Ron"
