  • Best Vacation Ever!!

"What a perfect get away for two families of 4 adults and 4 children! The house has plenty of room with more than enough comfortable furniture indoors and outdoors for all of us to relax. Canoeing on the quiet, beautiful pond was a real treat. It felt like we had our own private pond! The boys were really glad we remembered the fishing poles and could have spent all day fishing! We got beach passes and went to one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to, with water you can see down to your toes! The kids loved walking along the jetty and watching the boats go in and out of Sesuit Harbor. We all loved the outdoor shower! In the evenings, we either comfortably dined in or enjoyed wonderful nearby fresh, seafood restaurants. We enjoyed fantastic outings to nearby towns for whale watching, fishing boats, and pirate adventures! Carol was very helpful and easy to reach by text or phone. She made fabulous recommendations and helped make our stay one we will never forget! We’re looking forward to returning in the near future!!"

  • Beyond Wonderful!!

"This home exceeded all of our expections! We have rented vacation homes in many different locations in the past and we all agreed that this one was likely at the top of our list. This is a great find and we were more than pleased with our Cape vacation home - it was as described only better and the location is ideal. The beautiful sunset views from the deck were a perfect ending to each day. It was so beautiful. Both the home and the deck are quite large that we are considering hosting our daughters wedding here next summer. The location was ideal - this home is immaculate, spacious, offers a dining room large enough for our growing family. The owner was lovely as she left us a list of favorite restaurants and area attractions. We rented bikes at Barbaras Bike shop as suggested and rode the Cape Rail trail which was quite fun. We will definitely return next summer, if not before."

  • Cozy, clean and a great location; owner very nice to deal with

"We enjoyed our stay at this property. We were visiting the Cape to attend my wife's high school reunion. The condo was as advertised, very clean and looked as if it was remodeled recently. It's perfect for two people. It might be a little crowded with more. The overall building complex it is in looks a little tired, but no more so than many other places on the Cape. The owner, Sheila Smith, was a pleasure to deal with. We exchanged several emails and spoke before arriving. She was very accommodating and quick to answer any of our questions. When we arrived we were surprised to find a bottle of wine in the refrigerator and a pound of coffee waiting for us. The unit is light and bright with some nice artwork. The unit has a small sitting area with a sofa and chairs adjoining the kitchen on the first floor. The kitchen was small but adequate with basic appliances including a full size refrigerator, toaster oven and microwave. We ate out most nights so we didn't do any major cooking aside from breakfast and lunch. The unit has two flat screen TV's with Comcast service, one in the sitting area and one in the bedroom. They worked fine with wide variety of channels to select from. The wireless internet is fast. Being the geek that I am, I measured it as 30 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up. It is a two story unit with an interesting spiral staircase to the bedroom so it probably would not be good for someone who has trouble with stairs. The upstairs bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed with two large bureaus and a big closet for storing clothes. Again it was nicely decorated. The two bathrooms were clean, but we did find the showers a little small for us, but again adequate. We did have to run the A/C for a couple days and it worked fine. We did miss not having a dishwasher and laundry, but I can see the unit is probably not big enough to accommodate them. There was a good sized pool on the property, but we didn't use it. Parking was easy. There are many beaches, restaurants and stores with ten miles of the property all along route 28. We would definitely consider staying at this property again the next time we go to the Cape and would recommend it to others."

  • A very nice and relaxing stay in a well thoughtout home with everything you need.

"It may make you think twice about where you are renting when you first arrive at this property. After you get inside and then feel the coziness, and see the floorplan of this home you realize that you did well in renting this home. Everything is there for you, linens, utensils , napkins , sugar, detergents, etc. No need to make a list and waste time picking up things you need to have a meal other than buying your food. We made good use of the grill on the outside deck and just enjoyed the fresh air ( of course a few brews ) while sitting at the table. You will soon find you are in a very good location ( bike trails, hiking trails, restaurants ). If you bring your pet make sure to go to Salt pond. It is a short drive down Great Western road and is pristine water for swimming. Rent with confidence, this place is a homerun."
