  • Home from home with a swimming lake

"This was our first visit to the Cape Cod area and this house was a fantastic place to stay. The kitchen is better equipped than my own at home and the layout of the house is very homely. We spent a lot of time at the little lake beach opposite and found everyone we met there to be very friendly and keen to give us tips on where to eat or visit. We used the canoe every day and the kids all swam right across the lake and back (about 800m each way). The property is conveniently located with shopping centres and large supermarkets about 5 minutes drive away (Mashpee Common or Falmouth), Falmouth has a pretty high street with choice of restaurants and the ocean beaches are easily accessible (although we preferred swimming in the lake) I attended the local Zumba class and found all of the ladies there to be very friendly too! Definitely recommended"

  • Wonderful Falmouth Location

"My wife and I had a very nice week at this East Falmouth location. It's very close to a beautiful inlet that offers a great walking/biking path the mile distance to the ocean. The cottage is on a quiet street which is conveniently located to local grocery stores and other businesses/shops. It's a very short drive to downtown Falmouth which is very charming and full of interesting shops and restaurants. Its town-run beaches are well cared for and easily accessible. Nearby Woods Hole, Martha's Vineyard and all the other attractions that Cape Cod offers are easily and quickly reached. The cottage itself is small and somewhat dated but clean and comfortable. Some minor TLC projects could liven it up nicely. That being said however, it served our needs completely. We would certainly consider renting it again next year for our annual trip to this area. It would serve a family of five comfortably, with three twin beds in the finished basement bedroom and the small master bedroom on the main floor. There's a nice patio with grill and outdoor shower upstairs. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dinnerware and the inside bathroom has a nice tub/shower with good water pressure, and a small apartment size washing machine with outdoor clothesline."

  • Friends and Family Vacation in Falmouth

"I stayed for 2 weeks, inviting friends and family to join me, so there were a total of 7 people there at different times with a great deal of home cooking; the well--stocked and well organized kitchen was a big plus. All agreed this is a perfect vacation house, architecturally interesting, perfectly located, great for both private spaces and lovely community gatherings. Might consider adding a few things for seniors like tape on the outdoor steps."

  • Perfect for a large group Cape Cod getaway.

"The layout of the house, as well as the location right on the water allows for a wide variety of fun and activities. With seating on the deck, below on the patio, in the kitchen and in the game room our group never felt crammed and the beach provided a large enough area to hang out by the water. Only a few minutes from local Falmouth beaches and a quick ride to downtown Falmouth."
