  • Beautiful home; well cared for an fully equipped

"We found the home fully equipped. Generous amounts of towels, basic cleaning and paper supplies, soap and shampoo. 2 nice bicycles; one needing a flat repaired. Gas grill worked. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated with lots of natural sunlight and comfortable beds. We paid a premium for this home in order to have the handicapped accessible features. However, it was also a bonus that it was so well-equipped. We had lobster night for our extended family of 20+ one evening and had plenty of plates, utensils, pots and pans and seating for everyone. We loved walking down to Forest Beach, which is less than 10 minutes on foot. The owner Martha is a very positive, helpful person and I found her very available for questions. I would definitely recommend this home!"

  • So pleased!

"The cottage was immaculate when we arrived & getting up in the morning, having coffee on the front deck then walking the very short distance to the most beautiful beach, allowed us to have a wonderful vacation! Also a plus, was everything we needed to pick up groceries or go out for a casual or not so casual meal was in close proximity to the cottage."

  • A week by the beach

"What a cute little apartment by the beach! We are a family of 4, kids are 3 and 4 and we couldn't have asked for a nicer vacation near the seashore. Located right in the National Seashore, a quick 5-10 minute walk to coast guard beach, this is a really cute place to stay while you enjoy Cape Cod. The cottage style apartment is equipped with everything you need to feel right at home on vacation. Everything from kitchen utensils, to coffee maker, to appliances. We definitely needed and used the washer dryer on this trip! The owners went out of their way to be welcoming and make sure we had everything. We could walk to the beach to watch the seals and jump in the waves. It's also a quick drive to the bay side to enjoy First Encounter Beach which was perfect for little kids during low tide. The Nauset lighthouse is about a mile away which made for a great morning run and also a fun family excursion to the top. (Tours in the late afternoon- check the schedule.) Arnold's was a classic takeaway place with mini golf and great fried food. Close by. The chocolate cafe is also close and has a purple truck that comes to the beaches and has the best ice cream sandwiches. Not to be missed. If you're hikers, I'd recommend the Marconi swamp trail which has boardwalks and an easy trail for little kids. Really an ideal location, sweet beach house and warm welcoming hosts."

  • Perfect location and a great house

"Great house, spacious and well kept. The kitchen and back deck are outstanding. Tons of room for plenty of people, 3 bedrooms upstairs were great for our two adults and 4 young(under 9) kids. Walk to the beach is short(10 min) and Old Silver beach is one of the best on the Cape. Very close to local shops for essentials and about 10 min to wonderful Main St in Falmouth."
