  • Jeff and the pups

"I had the honor of renting "Sweet Sixteen" over the entire winter. One would think that staying at a beach house over a cape cod winter would not be very enjoyable, but I had a blast. This home has a great vibe to it, the living room is situated in such a manner as the fireplace is front and center and with plenty of gather around room, the walls are covered in very tasteful paneling and great aquatic art work. I love that there are windows all around! The house is situated on the beach but also affords incredible views of the marsh, the marsh also is an inlet from the bay and is great for launching kayaks. There is a deck right on a berm overlooking the beach and all of Cape Cod bay, you can even see the Pilgrim monument in P-town and the cape as it winds around the bay. As one winds down the bumpy dirt road further and further down a path, you suddenly pop out in a sunny row of beach houses-how relaxing is that!? You feel as if you are far from everything but are actually just minutes from Sandwich and back over the bridge... Great place, great location, Eileen and Wally are just really good people! Can"t wait to go back! Jeff"

  • Wonderful cottage by the water

"The cottage was immaculate and very charming. It fit our family of five (2 adults, 3 toddlers) great with all the amenities we could ask for. The outdoor shower served a great purpose when we walked back from the beach and needed to rinse off. The location was ideal for us because it was a stone's throw away from the Martha's Vineyard ferry. It also was central for us to take our day trip once to Salem, and the next day to Provincetown. The distance not too far from either location. We would definitely choose to stay here again next summer."

  • Great house in a wonderfu location

"We love Truro and have rented many houses over the years and this was one of the best. My husband and I an our son and daughter-in-law just returned from a week at this house and it worked perfectly for our needs. There is plenty of room to spread out. The house is secluded and surprisingly quiet since it is near Rte 6. It was an easy walk to Jams grocery store for coffee every morning ( if you don't mind playing Frogger crossing Rte 6). The house was clean and well-equipped and I could see how families with young kids could make good use of all of the extra beds. The owners were very easy to deal with and answered questions rapidly. There are fans there, but we brought extras which came in handy on hot nights. We hope to come back next summer."

  • Perfect little house!

"We really loved our stay at this house. Very clean and welcoming upon arrival. Enough room for our family of five. Great for our young kids to have everyone on one level. They also liked playing in the yard which is very well maintained. The kitchen is very well stocked which was great for us because we love to cook and prepare our own meals whenever we can while away. We were given plenty of towels for both the beach and the bathrooms. We loved having the outdoor shower after coming home from the beaches! The addition of the beach pass for the Barnstable area was an amazing bonus. We would highly recommend staying here if you want a quiet getaway on the Cape!"
