  • Lovely Home in Quiet, Secluded Neighborhood. Close to Nauset Beach

"Close to both Nauset Beach and East Orleans shops, this 3 Bedroom home on a private road is a perfect getaway for those wanting to relax. The large deck overlooks a sloping yard, and is across the street from Meeting House Pond. The kitchen has been recently updated, and is just beautiful. Air conditioning in the main living area and huge master bedroom suite certainly helped keep us cool during this extra hot summer. Would definitely return!"

  • Lovely vacation home on a beautiful property

"The property is in East Orleans, right on the road to Nauset Beach. A 3-minute drive from the center of Orleans, the property is convenient to shopping and all 3 beaches (Nauset, Skaket, and the beach at Pilgrim Lake which is ideal for younger children). Picturesque Rock Harbor (home of the fishing fleet) is a brief 5-minute drive away. My wife and I (and our kids) spent parts of more than 20 summers in this section of Orleans, our favorite town on the Cape. The tall hedge on the Beach Road side of the property provided excellent sound insulation from the traffic.. The comfortably furnished 3-BR 2-Bath 1-story home is situated on a spacious tree-filled lot. The property was clean and well-maintained. The home has Central heating and AC, and is generally well-equipped and appointed. The house has a new Washer and Dryer. There is a new Flat-panel 39" TV in the Living room and an older 27" TV in the master suite. The King bed in the master BR suite was comfortable (the only one we slept on); our adult kids said the queen bed was OK. The outdoor shower would be popular with younger children. We spent a good part of our time on the lovely outside deck, and prepared meals (swordfish on the barbie) on the modern outdoor Weber grill most nights when we ate at home. Dealing with the owner (Lauren Cragen) was a pleasure; her flexibility in making arrangements was much appreciated. When we come back to the Cape (hopefully, in the next year or two), the availability of 43 Beach Road will be one of our first considerations. Only two suggested changes: 1. Include the option of a full linen package (sheets, pillow cases, towels, etc) as part of the basic rental. (If clients want to supply their own, provide a deduction from this price). We would really have appreciated not having to deal with procuring our own linens (that was a hassle). 2. Put a small sign by the break in the hedge (#43) indicating the entrance to the property from Beach Road."

  • Perfect for what we were looking for in visiting Oleans

"This is a two bedroom, nice living open space kitchen area that is centrally located and easy to find. It is about two miles away from Nauset Beach -- walkable in 30 minutes, driven in less than 10. Master bed is firm -- without much padding. The twin beds were not used so I can't comment. ShowerTub works great. Good strong water pressure, great hot water. Kitchen was well equipped. Did not use the stove. Barbecue outside worked well and accomplished the task at hand. There is a umbrella picnic table in the back yard. Three window air conditioners and several fans kept the house humid free and cool. Internet connectivity was great, cell phone coverage is spotty. Both ATT and Verizon Ample parking and several flood lights covering the driveway. Walking distance to a farmer's market, pizza bar, and ice cream parlor. Property was charming and well maintained. The owner was really accommodating. As said -- Perfect for what we were looking for in visiting Oleans, Massachusetts"

  • Stunning house in great location

"I've just reserved a week in July 2017 at this wonderful house. It will be the 4th year that my extended family has stayed here. Three generations have enjoyed the beach, the deck, the yard and the kitchen. Walking to the beach is a treat and coming back to an impeccably clean and well-maintained home makes for an easy and comfortable vacation."
