  • Great vacation!

"My family of 10 really enjoyed staying on this Cape Cod property. We thought the location was great. It is a 2-3 min drive to the town center which had very cute shops and restaurants ( certainly within walking distance). Neighborhood seems very safe. The house had plenty of spaces for us (5 bedrooms). The 3 boys enjoyed the room with a bunk bed & twin bed, although that room seems to be the most stuffy, even with the AC unit on. I'm not sure why. There is also a twin bed right in where the formal dining is, which we did not use since there is no privacy. I suppose it's for someone who is not able to climb stairs to the upstairs bedroom. However I would have liked a big dining room table there instead for family dinners. There is a big table outside on the deck but dor the rainy or hot days an indoor table would be nice. We ended up sitting around the kitchen island & the breakfast table which also worked ok. The kitchen is well stocked & there are plenty of towels, beach towels for everyone. The 2 big TV's and piano were good for entertainment. There were plenty of tv channels including on demand movies which we loved. We really enjoyed our relaxing vacation there and owner has been attentive to all the details for the house. Would definitely stay there again if we are in the area."

  • A very nice house

"This is a very nice house that is conveniently located to Grey Neck Beach as well as just about everything else you will need to enjoy your stay in Harwich. Shaws, CVS, D&D, Cumberland Farms, Rail Trail, Whitehouse Field, etc. This is a nice size house for a family. There is a living room and a family room and plenty of space to spread out. The only caveat I have is if you do not like road noise and you go to bed early or want to sleep late, this may not be the house for you. Lower County Road is pretty well traveled and there is a fair amount of road noise during the day. It did not bother me or my family. We enjoyed our stay very much. This is the 15th time we rented a house on the Cape and this is one of the nicest we have stayed in."

  • Could not have asked for more!

"We stayed at George and Joy’s beautiful Cape home for a week in July 2016. We had three couples and three children in our group and found the house provided the perfect amount of privacy and space – especially with the two master suites. We were impressed by not only how quiet the street was in the lovely neighborhood but also the house itself. People were able to sleep in easily while others got up early, made coffee and chatted in the sun room. You couldn’t hear a thing! The house has new, modern finishes, was immaculate and the kitchen was supplied with everything you would need even including less common items such as a salad spinner. The pots, pans and knives were high quality. The beds were very comfortable and the washer/dryer was huge allowing us to throw in a bunch of salty beach towels at the end of the day. We enjoyed the outdoor shower at the end of the day and the deck space. Our kids loved the yard space. The location was perfect being only a few minutes in the car to Seagull beach, a 15 minute drive to our favorite Dennis beaches and shopping/dining in Hyannis. A Stop & Shop and Liquor store were about 10 minutes away and a gas station about 2 minutes for those quick stops for ice and milk. George and Joy were available for any questions we had. We truly could not have asked more. We highly recommend this home."

  • Exceeded expectations

"We had a chance to split our April vacation and spend a few nights at both of the owner's homes on the Cape. We stayed in his adorable charming cape home in West Yarmouth beginning the week and ended the week at his home in Hyannisport. This home could not be more comfy and full of character. Extremely well furnished and decorated to everyone's liking. I am a fan of VRBO and now a huge fan of John's as well. HE could not have been more helpful and considerate to us all during our stay. It's clear he takes pride in making his home welcoming for everyone. Might just be the best beds I have ever slept on too! View of the beach while sitting on the lawn in front is very peaceful. Hope to be back soon. Thanks John !"
