  • Beautiful Place - Great Location

"Overall the house is a perfect little spot at a great location (steps from beach). Beautiful beach and great for kids especially at low tide. Sunsets were amazing and the beach bond fires were great for the kids to make smores. The house was very clean and had everything we were looking for in a rental (ac, washer/dryer,wifi/outdoor shower/wood floors-no carpet). A perfect place for a family of two or three. The double bed is a little tight and the loft area would require air condition if someone wanted to sleep up there. I would highly recommend this place to others."

  • A wise choice for our vacation lodging

"I looked at several VRBO sites for our group of six and we all agreed we could not have made a better selection. This home is as advertised: clean and spacious. It is indeed just a very short walk to the beach and the access to Rt 6A could not have been easier. The neighborhood was very private and quiet. The home is well maintained, and the deck, large back yard and outdoor shower allowed us to spread out and enjoy a bit of privacy when we were there. I would not hesitate to recommend this proprty and hope I am able to return again in the future."

  • First time visit to the Cape, but not the last.

"As this was our first time to the Cape, we were a little uncertain what to expect. The property sits right on Cape Cod Bay, in East Sandwich, MA. The weather was perfect all week long, and the Bay was ideal for our kids to play in all day long - very small waves and sand bars during low tide. The kayak (supplied) was great, and we rented a Stand Up Paddleboard, which the kids used to improve their balance. It was very nice not having to worry about kids getting pummeled by big waves. The beach house was just as advertised, and a perfect size for our family of 5, which includes a couple of teenagers. We especially enjoyed the sunsets on the bay, along with a bonfire right on the beach. The nights were very comfortable, especially the bay breezes, and sounds of the water washing up on the shore. While in Sandwich, make a point of stopping for lunch at Beth's Bakery and Cafe - absolutely fantastic! They close at 3:00, so go early. We traveled to P-Town (similar to Key West, FL), Hyannis, and Falmouth. All great places, and uniquely enjoyable. We went on a whale watch in P-Town, which provided us with up-close views of several Humpback Whales - awesome! In Hyannis, we went on the Duckboat tour of the town and marina. If you are interested in JFK history, this is the place to visit. Falmouth reminded us of the Outer Banks of North Carolina - absolutely beautiful! Overall, I would recommend this property to anyone looking to experience the Cape, and have a relaxing vacation."

  • Devine tranquility

"What a lovely spot and impeccable home. You are practically in the salt marsh as your back yard and within a few short steps you can be on the bay-side beach by way of a foot path at the edge of the marsh. Waking up each day to the ever-changing marsh and strolling out to the beach was just what we needed to re-charge and relax. There are a few quirks to this home and the bedrooms are not entirely private from one another but overall it was a great place to stay, play and cook. The kitchen is amazing- state of the art and super fun to cook in. The work triangle is a bit too wide for my taste and I never did see instructions for the pizza oven but none of that really mattered to us. The second bedroom in the main house can only be accessed through the master so be aware of that, and the bed behind the ship's wheel is not in a closed off bedroom, although it is fairly private. Our visit was in October so we enjoyed the fireplace and fire-pit and even entertained day guests for lunch. I highly recommend this home and hope to visit it again sometime soon."
