  • Private & close to beach

"We just returned home from our week vacation in this home and highly recommend it. It was clean, had a/c window units in each room, was in a private neighborhood and most importantly, close to the beach. We enjoyed spending most of our time at the beach, but also enjoyed the peace and quiet of the neighborhood."

  • TICKED ALL THE BOXES

"Well, it was with very heavy hearts that we left Stan and Elaines property. We absolutely fell in love with Falmouth. House was absolutely lovely, well equipped and spacious. View from main bedroom was wonderful. We spent many happy hours at the pond but there was so much to do and see around the area. Plimoth was brilliant, kids loved it. We did some whale watching - awesome. We have walked, cycled, canoed around the pond. People couldn't have been nicer and it might have been our first visit to Cape Cod but its certainly left a lasting impression and won't be our last. Huge thanks to Stan and Elaine who couldn't have been more helpful and thank you both for having us. LOVED IT..."

  • Picture-Perfect Rental - Ideal Family Vacation

"This rental is nothing short of amazing. Ideally located in a beautiful part of West Falmouth, the house is a quick walk to the West Falmouth Market where you can buy ANYTHING (meats for grilling, local produce, gourmet snacks, baked goods, wine/beer/liquor, and even diapers!), across the street from a delicious ice cream parlor & cute café, and 1.5 miles from the BEST beach on the Cape (Old Silver). I spent summers on Cape Cod when I was growing up, and wanted to share the magic with my children as well. Our family vacation at Linda & James’ home could not have been more perfect. We spent our days at the beach, enjoying ice cream & the carousel in Falmouth center, and exploring the area. At night, we checked out some great restaurants (thanks to the well-thought out suggestions provided by our gracious hosts), ate lots of ice cream, and enjoyed the local scenery on the charming front steps of the house. Proximity to the delights of Cape Cod aside, Linda and James provided the most perfect atmosphere and environment for our family. The house is incredibly spacious (there were three bedrooms we didn’t even use), clean, and well-kept. There were baby gates by the stairs (excellent if you have a 1.5 year old), extra beach towels, beach chairs, a cooler, and even a jogging stroller in the shed! The dvd collection is quite impressive (and helpful every once in awhile when the children are exhausted from the beach), the toys in the den were a huge hit, and my three year old was even more excited to be on vacation when she saw the Little Mermaid bedspread in one of the rooms upstairs. In essence, Linda & James catered to our every need, without even knowing it. Their thoughtfulness is evident in the way the keep their home and treat their renters. From the outside shower (which was great after the beach) to the central air to the breakfast nook to the delightful back deck, everything about this home is sheer perfection. Linda and James clearly know how what their guests need and want, and I have no problem saying, to date, that this trip was the absolute best vacation I have ever had. Linda was a joy to work with and very quick to respond to any questions that came up and I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone else looking for the quintessential Cape Code getaway."

  • Excellent house and location!

"Our family stayed for a few weeks in June while we did some work at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole. The house is in excellent condition and had a ton of room for everyone. The large deck out back with the grill and big yard were a huge plus. The kitchen and bathrooms are brand new and we had plenty of room to spread out.The neighborhood is quiet and kid friendly. The owners were kind enough to leave all sorts of beach stuff for us to use which the kids appreciated. The location is great. While this house is not on the beach it is vey convenient to the bike path from which you can easily get to a number of different beaches. It is a 3 minute drive (10 min bike) to Woods Hole, and maybe a 10 minute drive (20 min bike) to Falmouth, so it is very well situated. We highly recommend staying here and would certainly consider coming back next year!"
