  • The property was immaculately kept and well supplied for cooking and serving meals.

"We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Gerbin's property to anyone looking for a quiet location that is close to the beach and centrally located on the Cape."

  • Three Great Unforgettable Weeks

"Hello John, We have just returned home from our vacation - we traveled through Berkshires, Amherst and Northampton - just wanted to see a different part of Massachusetts. Thank you for letting us use your cottage - we spent three great unforgettable weeks there. It's a lovely, charming place, with great decor, quintessentially "Cape"; among things that we loved most were the library (great selection of books!) and the antique lamps. It's very well equipped and comfortable - we truly felt at home there. We had great beach weather almost every day; when it got busier and more crowded on weekends, we made short sightseeing trips to Boston and Providence (we fell in love with Providence). The location is so convenient - close to everything. I hope we will be able to return in the future. Thank you for your hospitality and your help with all the details. I hope everything was in order when we left."

  • Family Wedding at the Wychmere

"Our extended family gathered in Harwich Port for my son's wedding. This house was perfect for a large gathering. We hosted several family dinners with space to seat about 16 or 18. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything imaginable needed for cooking and dining. The home is very spacious, charming and well appointed. With several very comfortable sitting rooms, we could spread out, for quiet conversation or games and reading, yet never feel crowded. Having 5 bathrooms was such a luxury, especially when everyone was getting ready for the wedding at once! One nice advantage to this home's location is the walking distance to the village and beach. The owners are very easy to work with and quick to respond to any inquires. The description and pictures of this house fall short in showing it's spaciousness and charm. It feels like home! We could not have found a more perfect place to stay."

  • A very nice house

"This is a very nice house that is conveniently located to Grey Neck Beach as well as just about everything else you will need to enjoy your stay in Harwich. Shaws, CVS, D&D, Cumberland Farms, Rail Trail, Whitehouse Field, etc. This is a nice size house for a family. There is a living room and a family room and plenty of space to spread out. The only caveat I have is if you do not like road noise and you go to bed early or want to sleep late, this may not be the house for you. Lower County Road is pretty well traveled and there is a fair amount of road noise during the day. It did not bother me or my family. We enjoyed our stay very much. This is the 15th time we rented a house on the Cape and this is one of the nicest we have stayed in."
