  • Location and Amenities!

"Great location on a quiet street. Easy to get to Route 6 and head out to Wellfleet! Loved being so close to the bike path and having a shed to store our bikes. They even have a few bikes if you need them. We also used one of the kayaks which saved us from renting one. Many nice TV's, but we had great weather. The pool table and dart board saw a lot of use though. We really enjoyed the covered deck with room for all to sit, the hammock and the fire pit!"

  • Wonderful place to make memories!

"This was my 1st time in this rental, & it was a 100% pleasurable experience, from the owners themselves, to the apartment & its amenities, to its fantastic location. For just my son & I, it was perfect - SO close to the beach, & we just loved the outdoor shower. The updates the owners have made to the kitchen & bathroom are well done, & we both kept referring to it as "going home" at the end of our long days...which is exactly the atmosphere we were hoping for! The town itself is so charming, everyone we encountered in restaurants, shops & the chamber of commerce were friendly & helpful, & I loved that it was so centrally-located in the Cape, making it an ideal base from which to travel for excursions. In just a week, we fit a LOT in, from whale watching to a seal cruise to a Harwich Mariners baseball game to the pirate museum, to seemingly endless mini golf, go karts, & bumper boats...& still managed to get to the local beach on 5 of our 7 days. So, I was very, very happy with our stay, & look forward to establishing this as a tradition for my son & I. We hope to be back next year!"

  • Central CapeCod Gem

"We have come to this wonderful Cape Cod home for 7 years. It has a central location, wonderful layout for unto 3 couples or a family. This year the home has been completely updated making the kitchen and dining areas even more enjoyable plus AC throughout. Located next to the rail trail for wonderful walks and a short distance to the beach and shopping communities. Its central location is ideal for exploring all of Cape Cod. Located near the main roads but far enough away to be quiet. It is in a beautiful neighborhood. Just a great vacation spot. We love to set on the deck for meals and stargazing."

  • Wonderful family reunion week

"This property was a great place for our extended family of 16 to spend a week. We rented both the house and the barn to have everyone fit comfortably. We used the barn for our four teenagers to stay, since they liked to stay up late and sleep in. The yard was PERFECT! We ate outside every evening, since we were blessed with gorgeous weather all week. We set up bocci, croquet, corn hole, Frisbee, a hammock and used the moveable fire pit for making s'mores. It was my father's favorite place to be as we all gathered around and just visited. The beaches are close - we were able to walk to one, and drive to others. There is a kayak rental close by, shopping, restaurants, ice cream shops, putt putt and music played outdoors all very close within a few minutes drive. Some of us even took the ferry to Martha's Vineyard for the day. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the lack of A/C. It was my error, and I didn't realize there wouldn't be AC. My dad is almost 80 and in hot weather, it can be difficult. But as I said, we were blessed with great weather and after one or two hot days, it cooled enough and the homeowners had plenty of fans, so we hardly noticed. There is a lovely closed in porch that we also gathered in the evening to watch TV and played lots of board games, and did puzzles. The homeowners have a ton of movies, games, puzzles and books for guests to use while they are there. It's really great for families with young children. Be sure to pay attention to which beach you get an access pass from. We somehow had some of our family members get a beach pass to one beach, while others got the correct pass to closer beaches. It can cost $20 per car per day at a beach, so make sure you all get the correct pass. The owner can advise you. There are great outdoor showers when you return to the beach. The home is older, but clean and the kitchens in the main house were updated and beautiful. It came in handy to have two kitchens! Plenty of dishes, pots, pans, silverware to cook and eat with. The owners do a nice job of making you feel at home. We left a set of our keys behind (oops) and the owner was nice and sent them along once we realized it and contacted him. We found them to be nice and responsive to any questions we had throughout the week as well as before we came. They have a great book of suggestions, maps, and menus. Look for that when you first arrive. We made great memories!"
