  • Incredible Location

"The uniqueness of having the ocean on one side and Scorton Creek on the other makes this property incredibly special. The cottage itself is in great condition and maintained very well. It is Cape Cod in and out. The owner, Arlene, took the time to point out the excellent restaurants in Sandwich and nearby areas and also connected us with a local kayak store who dropped off our rental kayaks ahead of time at the cottage. She went out of her way throughout our dealings to ensure our stay was a priority. So for us, it was arrive and our vacation started. Did I forget to mention that Scorton Creek is perfect for kayaking and it's tidal flow and geography create some excellent fishing in the creek and just outside it's mouth. We had an awesome time and have lasting memories from our stay. Thank you for sharing your special place with us Arlene."

  • Perfect!

"My family decided to spend a week at this cottage and it was perfect! We had 8 adults total and we all fit very comfortably in the cottage. The proximity to the beach was great and this cottage was a short drive to many different restaurants, shops, and family fun places. If we had any questions, Steve was extremely quick to answer, which allowed our vacation to be stress free. We will definitely be booking this cottage again in the future!"

  • GREAT VACATION HOME

"This rental was an excellent choice for our family’s first Cape Cod vacation. We stayed here in September 2015, during the area’s off season. The home was cozy, and provided ample space and activity for our entire family: adults, young children, and canine guests alike. The house itself is very comfortable, and we made lots of use of the screened in porch as well as the outdoor patio and fire pit. The property being adjacent to the freshwater pond was perfect for the kids, and we used the kayaks and boat every day. The location was ideal for our vacation experience. It was close enough to the town for any shopping or activities, while still being secluded enough for privacy and quiet. We also took advantage of the walking trails and beaches that were nearby. Ted was a very gracious host, and made sure all of our needs were met. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week at this rental, and have spoken very highly of it ever since. We hope to return soon, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay on The Cape."

  • Best week with family and friends!

"This house was just perfect for our Cape getaway. The location to the beach was an easy 3 minute walk, (though the dune down and especially up was a bit of a challenge, we were all fine with it). The beach itself is beautiful. just what you would expect from the National Seashore. The house was nicely decorated Cape style and the furniture was lovely, (not campy or tacky at all). The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Everyone had a very comfortable place to sleep. The kitchen was very workable and we are foodies who like to cook. The patio is cute and although close to the neighbors, felt private and reminded me of an English garden. We even had a hummingbird visit! The patio furniture was sturdy and comfy. We spent a lot of time cooking on the grill and just hanging out there. We loved the outdoor shower, (a "must have" whenever we go down the Cape). The general location is where we like to stay. Being on the lower Cape is nice because it truly is away from it all. We enjoyed a day in P-Town and the short ride home. We also visited the Spice store (highly recommend!) and the Winery with it's lovely shop. We did dine out and all of the places we tried were excellent. 1st night we dined on Wellfleet harbor at Mac's and had a night cap at Pearl. We also tried Karoo (my sister and I have visited South Africa and were intrigued) and again, did not disappoint. Overall, this was such a great house. Highly recommend to anyone, just not the week or two I will want it next year, haha."
