  • Great kitchen and dining room gathering spots Plus lots of space.

"The price of this rental was very fair. The number of bedrooms and beds makes it a good value. The kitchen was extremely well outfitted right down to a knife sharpener. You would not want for anything in the kitchen. The owner supplies plastic bags, foil, trash bags, S&P, and jars of many, many commonly used seasonings. There are dishes and glasses galore. The owner also supplies hand soap at every sink and a liquid body wash at every shower as well as extra rolls of bath tissue in each bathroom. The house is an unusual design in that there is a lovely bedroom (K + 2 T's) over the attached garage but no bathroom and no AC that I could determine. The living floor has a King master with attached bath, plus two additional bedrooms ( Q and a T) which share the hall bath. The lower level (basement) has two Q bedrooms and a full bath plus a small kitchen and good sized living area with TV. The owner even supplies a computer printer and the paper on a computer table in the lower level. Books are available for anyone who wishes to borrow/take one home with them. There was a shelf area with lots of games for kids. The garage houses a couple of very decent bikes to borrow plus lots of beach chairs as well as a ping pong table to entertain the kids on rainy days. The house was clean and orderly but we think the cleaner got carried away with air freshener in the lower level. Luckily the weather was cooperative and we were able to open windows and air it out. There is an outdoor shower which the men enjoyed and it was accessible off the deck or through the slider in the lower level. The property gently slopes away in the back which places the deck kind of in the trees and that was charming. The deck has adequate table and chair space to seat a crowd and the inside dining table was also quite long with lots of chairs for meals."

  • Gorgeous, clean and well stocked

"This little cottage is simply lovely from the beautifully curated house interior to the gorgeous front and back yards. The house was quiet, clean, well maintained and stocked with all the things you need for a great vacation. We stayed there with our 2 and nearly 5 year olds and they loved the swing set, play fort, sandbox, books, toys and roasting marshmallows on the fire pit. The owners are also super nice and responsive via email, giving recommendations where to take our young kids. We would definitely love to stay in this house again on our next visit to the Cape. We had such a great time - the kids didn't want to leave! I highly recommend Veterans Beach for a small, quiet beach with bathrooms, playground, no seaweed and close to the beach parking for little ones. Plus the Nirvana Coffee Company is a must for any latte lovers. We also had a great time cycling the bike trail, hiring bikes from Barbara's Bikes, playing mini golf at Pirate Cove and enjoyed the Pirate Adventures in Hyannis."

  • Beyond perfection!

"We rented this beautiful home for my brother's wedding weekend. We had wonderful plans for a small, casual rehearsal dinner outside on the patio and the bride & groom getting ready in the cottage & main house with everyone able to go back and forth. Mother Nature had other plans as it poured all weekend. But that did not matter at all! The home is perfectly located so folks (with umbrellas) could walk from downtown. It is spacious and so well set up that between the two living rooms and dining room everyone had a seat. The cottage and main house still worked wonderfully for everyone to get ready in separate spaces and the bride & groom did their first look on the front porch. The best thing I can say is that it is truly their home and it is beautifully decorated. I could go on and on as to how happy we were to be in this lovely home which fit the joy and love of the wedding weekend! Thank you to Betty & Joe for sharing their home with others. Betty is an absolute gem to work with – super responsive and very friendly and clear."

  • Perfect gem in the Cape!

"My husband, myself and my parents had a wonderful fall vacation! The condo was just perfect! Everything you need is there. It was so very quiet and just a great place to get away from it all! We would take a walk down to the beach, go into Provincetown for some shopping and drove all over the Cape for great shopping and visiting different museums. Hoping to return again! Thank you James and Joyce for allowing us to experience your beautiful home!"
