  • Cozy cottage close to the beach

"Our family had a great time at 12 Trotting - really enjoyed the convenient location, friendly and safe neighborhood. The outdoor shower was a favorite, and plenty of fans in the house (much needed with the heat!). The kitchen was well-stocked and family sitting area was great for games in the evening. Only suggested improvements would be more chairs around the table (cottage has 8 beds, but just 6 seats for eating). Fantastic time - would recommend, even for a large family like ours (7). Thanks!"

  • Wonderful

"We had our 50th Nursing School reunion here and it was marvelous. Carver who cares for the house was a gem, he was so much fun to talk to and he had a wealth of knowledge about Our Great Gatsby. He made our stay so pleasant. Five stars"

  • Great place for ocean vacation

"I really enjoyed our stay at your home. The location was so good that we never had to move the car unless we wanted to. We walked to town. The house is in a spot where there is a very large field right across the street. We watched and enjoyed the people on the baseball diamond, basketball court and plenty of kids playing games. This house is in a safe place as they left the basketball and hockey sticks over night with nobody. The brewery on the corner served us well for take out beach lunches. Great time to catch up with our family. No problems. Oh, and the webber grill was great for at home dinners."

  • Cape Cod Charm and Character

"Summers on the Cape were a part of my childhood and though I wanted to introduce it to my own children- now grown and off on their own- I was worried about finding a place that exuded the old Cape that I remembered. The wild areas, the dunes, the hikes, the old towns the vernacular architecture... But this house. This sweet house- gave it all back to me and more. Converging from the west coast, the Rockies, the Chesapeake Bay and the land of Liberty, our group of 8 had more than enough room to sneak away with a good book or converge for charades and shenanigans. Large decks shaded by beautiful white oaks overlooked a river valley. Wild turkey (the feathered kind) were prevalent on the local trails. The location gave us ample opportunity to easily explore Provincetown and wellfleet and other sections of the National Seashore. We rented bikes and explored further than our feet would take us. Access via the fast ferry from Logan was part of the fun. And the car rental at Provincetown was a snap. We barely made a dent in our list of things to explore and so we look forward to coming back again soon!"
