  • Beautiful and well-equipped home

"The property was spacious and in good condition in a very nice neighborhood. The back deck was very large and perfectly setup with furniture and a grill. We would definitely recommend the home to friends and family. Cape Cod is a place with great food, beaches, lighthouses, rails-to-trails biking, and an overall friendly atmosphere. The architecture of 17th-century homes in the Falmouth area are a must to see. Woods Hole is also close by, home to the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. They have a small, free aquarium that is perfect for families with young children. The area also has really good seafood, of course, and also the local "Brockton-style Pizza" at restaurants like Charlie's Place & Paul's Pizza that is a rarity. The owner of the home was easy to work with and gave clear directions on what to expect. Using VRBO was very helpful in comparing properties and we will use VRBO again in the future!"

  • Great find - Pocassett. Roomy, spacious beachy feel cottage encompassed by ocean in every direction

"We scored this great little find last minute as we decided to take our Chocolate lab on vacation. Anthony was terrific to deal with, very attentive, non-overbearing and truly wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. There were a few little hiccups - it was an extremely brutal hot week so during the day the house was very hot (especially for the dog), we had some ants and had to throw some food away and the screens had holes that we patched with tape as it did get buggy. But again we were in a cottage and knew these were things to be expected. I would still go back. The neighborhood was quiet, the beaches very private and the views from the end of the road priceless. While we were at the Cape, we were just over the bridge so we traveled everywhere Hyannis, Dennis, Chatham & P-Town with very little traffic hassles. Charlie (my lab) had the time of his life and was so excited to finally be part of our family vacation. Thanks Anthony for allowing this to happen!"

  • Impeccable Cape Cod Vacation Home

"I had the pleasure of staying here last summer with friends and family. The home is extremely spacious throughout-- accommodating to all twelve guests (including driveway parking!) The 'less than two minute' walk down to the ocean is an absolute luxury-- not to mention super convenient . Quiet road with friendly neighbors makes for peaceful mornings and evenings. Surrounding road(s) are great for walking/running or biking to enjoy the beautiful surrounding views. The kitchen included everything we needed to prepare our meals (we love to cook-- MAJOR plus!!) The backyard includes a nice deck to relax on, an outdoor shower and a shed full of useful activities (beach chairs, bikes, kayaks, etc..) The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again and again."

  • Fabulous home away from home vacation!

"Our family of 11 (8 adults, a 17-yr old & 2 8-yr olds) just returned from a fabulous Cape Cod vacation and this house was a big part of making the trip a success. The view when you first walk into the house is breath taking! The open layout of this house, located in a quiet neighborhood, provided more than adequate sleeping & living space. We jogged, walked, swam, fished & played tennis at the HOA courts. Most days were hot & muggy until mid-afternoon so we were happy for the AC. The kitchen is well equipped - we are cooks and prepared brunch most days and dinner 3 nights, including a lobster boil. The full sized washer & dryer were appreciated. Our favorite features were the upper deck & the pool. The deck furnishings made this a comfortable place to hangout. We began most mornings on the deck with a pot of tea/coffee making plans for the day. In the evening we gathered again to share our day adventures and to enjoy the beginning of the Perseid's meteor showers. Our little boys, up at the crack of dawn, especially loved the pool! The house is located minutes from the Bourne bridge so we were not fighting traffic. The location is convenient for traveling to most parts of the Cape - Woods Hole, Falmouth, Chatham, Sandwich, Truro (golfing) and day trips to Boston & Newport RI. Plenty of good restaurants & pubs nearby. We recommend large grocery shopping in Falmouth and the Pocasset Country Market to restock. The owners were easy to work with throughout the entire rental process. They were very responsive to e-mails and texts - answering questions throughout the months leading up to our vacation and during our week in the house. Our family would return to Irene's Landing in a minute and we highly recommend this property to others looking for a home away from home vacation!"
