  • Nice house, great location

"The house is nicely done. It has a great location that is close to everything yet quiet. The owner was very helpful and responsive. I would definitely stay here again"

  • Good place near the center of it all.

"I needed a last minute booking for the end of August, and although I have usually avoided staying so close to the center of town Angel's Landing had some reasonably-priced availability. I need to preface this by saying that I have been going to Ptown almost every year for over 25 years, so I know the town very well and I have very distinct preferences usually staying in the quiet West End away from the crowds in the center. Angel's Landing was a nice surprise, though. It is close to the center, but far enough removed from the street that the complex feels set apart. The unit was nicely furnished and newly renovated with a new kitchen and bathroom, and though not big it was certainly spacious enough for one or 2 people and bigger than many similar places in town. I like to cook while on vacation (Ptown is not the cheapest place to eat out in, despite the almost unlimited food options), and the kitchen was nicely set up - I spoke with the owner about getting a few things to make it better, and she immediately responded by saying that she ordered what I suggested from Amazon!). The common deck is on a nice little slice of the harbor beach, and the unit has a piece of private deck. The coffee shop in the complex is great, but opens on the late side and closes early - however, the excellent Wired Puppy is just about 150 yards up Commercial Street and the unit has a coffee maker. The complex also has Box Lunch for good sandwiches and soups (and a delicious lobster mac & cheese), and ScottCakes for cupcakes., and it is right across the street from the wonderful Provincetown Public Library (do not miss seeing the half-scale replica of the fishing schooner Rose Dorothea on the library's 2nd floor - it is awesome!!). While I cherish the quiet of the West End and East Ends of town, Angel's Landing is a good alternative when staying in the center. It's close to the bars, clubs, restaurants and shops without being too subject to their noise, it's an easy walk to the ferry, and many Ptown essentials like the department store-like Lands End Hardware, 141 Bradford Natural Food store, Arnold's bike rentals, Far Land Provisions (great sandwiches and small general food market) and more are all within a few minutes walk. And of course, while the place is right on the harbor beach, the amazing Herring Cove Beach is a short bike ride. I would especially recommend Angel's Landing to first time visitors, as it makes getting oriented and learning the town very easy"

  • Beautifully appointed home close to everything in town!

"Having stayed in this home on several occasions, I cannot say enough good things about it. - First the location: Located in the West/Central part of town, the area could not be more convenient. A short walk to the grocery store makes it easy to stock up on provisions for your stay. A short walk down the hill will give you direct access to a private beach also owned and maintained by the owner. The location is perfect for both quiet and privacy, without compromising convenience. Space: I have stayed in Provincetown for many years and most homes are tiny.. This place is spacious, and has everything you need to stay for a week or longer. The bedrooms are all roomy and open. I have trouble sleeping in beds that are not mine, and the beds there are very comfy.. If you decide to stay in and cook one night, the kitchen is stocked with almost anything you will need to cook a meal. General: An incredibly unique space, conveniently located, and impeccably run by the most accommodating hosts. Stay once and you will come back year after year..."
