  • Clean, well maintained with fantastic views and close to town and activities

"This was our second stay at the boathouse and we were expecting to see a little wear from when we were there three years ago. Not the case at all. Still meticulously clean, looking every bit as brand new as the pictures online. In fact those pictures don't do it justice. The boathouse is within walking distance to the shops down town, the bike rental shop and all the local restaurants. Our family considers this trip as one of their favorite. Despite the size of the boathouse there is plenty of room for four. All the amenities are provided. Towels (even beach), linens, with a completely stocked kitchen. No detail is forgotten. Lyn is professional and organized. The entire booking process to return of deposit is stress and hassle free. We have come home to show friend after friend our pictures and videos and highly recommend it to them as well. We feel you couldn't get any better with the tide coming up under the boathouse in high tide with the ability to swim and kayak right out front. And at low tide, have the ability to walk out for what seems like forever to play frisbee/ball or just look for treasures. You couldn't be disappointed with this property."

  • We really enjoyed this cottage

"My wife and I spent nearly a week in mid April here at the cottage and fell in love with it. This is a perfect time to go to the Cape if you are looking for the quiet side of Cape Cod. The cottage itself is very clean, comfortable and literally steps to the beach. Fantastic sunsets mixed with long walks on the beach. The CCRT is just miles away if you are a bike rider. Highly recommended!"

  • Jeff and the pups

"I had the honor of renting "Sweet Sixteen" over the entire winter. One would think that staying at a beach house over a cape cod winter would not be very enjoyable, but I had a blast. This home has a great vibe to it, the living room is situated in such a manner as the fireplace is front and center and with plenty of gather around room, the walls are covered in very tasteful paneling and great aquatic art work. I love that there are windows all around! The house is situated on the beach but also affords incredible views of the marsh, the marsh also is an inlet from the bay and is great for launching kayaks. There is a deck right on a berm overlooking the beach and all of Cape Cod bay, you can even see the Pilgrim monument in P-town and the cape as it winds around the bay. As one winds down the bumpy dirt road further and further down a path, you suddenly pop out in a sunny row of beach houses-how relaxing is that!? You feel as if you are far from everything but are actually just minutes from Sandwich and back over the bridge... Great place, great location, Eileen and Wally are just really good people! Can"t wait to go back! Jeff"

  • Pristine, comfortable, close to everything!

"This house is on a quiet street and an easy walk to the pond. The flowers are magnificent and there are 2 outside decks, one with a spotless grill. The bedrooms are really comfortable with plenty of storage for clothes. The provided beach towels are bright and in excellent shape. The AC worked well (we only needed it one day). The washer and dryer were good capacity, effective and quick. We used it as a central location to visit Chatham(Oyster pond, candy store, Buffy's ice cream, lighthouse beach with seals and a lovely long beach walk), Brewster, Orleans (Nickerson state park, hot chocolate sparrow, Nauset beach) and the drive-in movie at Wellfleet. It was close enough to the bike path although I do agree with the recommendation to drive smaller children to the path rather than go on the main road. We were also close to go carts, trampolines, mini golf. We used it as one adult with 2 children, plus visiting friends for children for part of the time - there was space for everyone without feeling cramped and still quiet nooks to escape to. The water pressure in the showers was really good. Nearby grocery store was full sized with easy parking. Thoroughly recommend this lovely home."
