  • Perfect place for our extended family of ten

"My sisters, mother and I have rented this house for the past two summers and it is a perfect fit for us. There’s 10 of us including 4 young kids. We were specifically looking for a place on a pond so when the two youngest were napping, the other two kids could play in the pond. The layout works really well for us. My mother takes the only bedroom on the first floor, which could work well for someone that can’t manage stairs well. The bathroom is just outside this bedroom in the hallway. There are 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor along with another bathroom. My sister, husband and her 2 kids take the master bedroom that has its own bathroom (2 total on the 2nd floor). Her kids are at the age where they want to be in the same room with their parents so they sleep on the floor of the master bedroom on travel mattresses. My family sleeps in the basement. My kids tend to go to bed early and wake up early so it’s nice to be separated by two floors from my sister’s family that stays up late and sleeps in. In the basement is a large room with a pull-out couch. From there you can get to the basement storage area where there is an extra refrigerator and washer and dryer. There is a lovely bedroom with a king sized bed and a full bathroom in the basement (BTW- the linens are all very nice, not the cheap scratcy kind). There’s plenty of space in both the bedroom and the large room for our two kids to sleep on their travel mattresses. We tend to eat most of our meals on the outside deck, which has plenty of seating for all of us. Because there are ten of us, what I like about the house is that there is plenty of space for people who want to spread out and have a little space. There’s the main living area with a TV, but then there’s also the nook with the four comfy rocking chairs. Then there’s the gazebo on the deck outside and also two chaise lounge chairs in the yard outside. The yard is a decent size and mostly flat, which is great for our kids. In the past we had rented a place that essentially had no yard for the kids to run around in so it’s great to have this space. There is a stairway down to the private beach. The length of the beach is not that long, but it hasn’t bothered us. The water is shallow, which is wonderful for the kids. It’s sandy for quite a ways out. On the whole, we love this place. It’s a gorgeous spot with a great view of the pond. We can walk to trails and conservation land. I highly recommend staying here."

  • A Gem in a quiet Brewster

"This place had everything that we could need and ask for. Beautiful, and nicely decorated, the house was just as described: big, with a lot of open space, fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, 2 full bathrooms with a lot of towels, washer & dryer in the basement, beautiful grand piano in a music room was a huge hit. There is a balcony attached to one of the bedrooms upstairs, several French doors opening to a large deck downstairs, a great gas grill on a deck. Perfect location: on a quiet cul de sac, very close to teh bike route and walking distance to Long Pond, Seymour Pond and Black Pond. We simply loved being at this beautiful house, and it was very hard to leave after our week ended. We hope to rent it again sometime in the near future. :)"

  • Hyannis Getaway

"Rented this property for a week in August 2016. Property grounds were beautiful and the grandkids really enjoyed the pool and the little stream and bridge that led up to it. Accommodations were very nice with plenty of room. Had a nice private patio area on the first floor and a great rooftop deck to watch the stars at night. I loved the layout of the condo. Perfect for a family and never felt cramped. A very short walk to the beach and the water was calm which was perfect for young kids to play and for grown ups to relax. If you wanted some waves you could walk a short distance on the beach to a more ocean beach area that had a great snack bar and bathroom facilities. You could walk to Main Street and all the sailing activities from the complex. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishes and pots and pans which made cooking a breeze. Perfect place for a relaxing vacation with a growing family."

  • Clean, beautiful vacation home

"We were very happy with our stay at this home. The kitchen had all we needed for cooking for our family of four, and we loved reading in the kitchen nook and eating on the deck. We used the bikes on the bike trail (bring your own helmets!), swam in the lovely Seymour pond at the end of the block, and traveled to beaches and lakes where we swam and kayaked. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Our sons (9 and 11) were a bit disappointed in the condition of the foosball table and video games, but they still managed to play both. They were also sad not to be able to see Red Sox games on tv but that was also remedied by the good radio in the kitchen (on which we listened to the games). We can't afford to rent again--a bit out of our price range for a repeat--but appreciated all of the work the owners did to make us comfortable."
