  • Beautiful home and gardens

"We were totally satisfied and happy with our week at The Romantic Cottage in Cape Cod. The home was wonderfully furnished, fully stocked with all necessary supplies and has a backyard garden almost too beautiful to describe. Great location in a quiet, residential neighborhood. It is a perfect "Cape Cod home"."

  • Great Location Near the Heart of Chatham- Lovely Accommodations

"Our family (2 girls- 2 and 4-years-old) had a wonderful first vacation on the Cape. While we were anxious about traffic, we arrived without any issues and were pleased to settle right into this charming home. All of the amenities were available and easy access. The layout is great if you want to have a separate area for visitors (basement level), since they have their own kitchenette and full bath. Having A/C is a blessing on certain hot days, and the outdoor shower was the best. It's about a half-mile walk to Ridgevale Beach, though there are no sidewalks, so it can be a bit treacherous with small children and cartload of beach stuff. Some days, my husband would drop us off, and then park back at the house and walk down by himself. Ridgevale was not as pristine as other beaches, but it's good for small kids. Skaket was our favorite, which is in Orleans. Downtown Chatham is a short car ride away, and there's lots to do. Wish we could have done the Friday night concert, but we didn't quite get our act together, and parking seemed at a premium. We did, however, make it to the magic show on Thursday night at the Unitarian Church, and our kids had a blast. We definitely hope to return next year!"

  • Beautiful views, everything you need

"The views from the cabin are amazing, it's easy to get to many great places in less than 20 minutes, the cabin has everything you need, is beautiful, and the outdoor shower is a nice treat. The owner is friendly and helpful. However, you can't really walk to the water's edge - you can get to the marshy grass but it's still 30-50 feet before there's actually water. Also all of the rooms in the cabin are actually one big room with dividing walls- all rooms (except for one bedroom and the bathroom) share the same ceiling. Meaning that everyone can hear each other perfectly throughout the cabin and if a light is on it lights up all of the rooms. Maybe not a big deal for some but something that is good to know ahead of time. Overall a really great place to stay- we had an amazing time."

  • Clean and Comfortable!

"We rented this home for a girls getaway week. As some of us have food sensitivites, we cooked there a lot. The kitchen pots and pans, utensils, etc.. were some of the best we have seen in a vacation rental. There was even a new gas grill for us to use, and we took advantage of it. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty for the five of us. The house is in a private, wooded area --very nice location. Barbara was super to work with! She answed our many questions, and went out of her way to get information on area attractions for us. She is a landlady like no other! We would highly recommend this rental."
