  • Sunrise views and Solitude!

"This cottage provides complete renewal to your mind and spirit. Sitting on the National Seashore a few houses down from the dune, the beauty of nature surrounds you. Watching whales playing in the water from our upper deck, seeing sunrises light up the entire horizon and moon glow on the ocean from our bed, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore were gifts and a rare find. Everything in the cottage is warm and welcoming too. It has everything you could need and is nice and clean. It was a perfect stay with delicious food at Mac's and pastries from PB's Boulangerie, sunsets on the bay and Wellfleet Oysterfest. Memories that will last a lifetime."

  • Great Home, Location, Family Place

"We, my husband and I, had a wonderful week at Oslil Cottage with my daughter's family (2 kids under 6). It was clean when we arrived and there is a lot of space to gather. I have rented many times on the cape and have never seen such a well appointed kitchen for cooking. And we all loved the outdoor shower after the beach. We chose the location because it is so near to the Wellfleet ocean beaches we frequent as well as the bay for some beach combing. The lot is in a neighborhood but large and wooded so we felt wonderfully isolated. Being right on a walking path to a pond and right near the bike trail truly added to the value along with all of the toys and things for the kids to do (kitchen set, horseshoes, swingset, bikes). Mary, the owner, returned all of my communications more quickly than expected and was extremely helpful. We would all return in a heartbeat."

  • A very beautiful house and grounds that looked and felt very welcoming.

"Eight members of my family and my toddler grandson stayed in the house for three nights. I loved the feel of the house. (I assume that the owners live there a part of the year). It did not feel like a rental. The artwork and other visual items felt warm and welcoming. I know I am using lots of adjectives and very little specifics, but, for me, this house is simply beyond describing. More accurately, I loved the blend of carefully chosen artwork and very homey furniture. The house has a wonderfully unassuming feel to it; yet it felt like the owners put a lot of thought into the furniture, etc. The owners very generously made a very substantial collection of great children's books and toys available which my grandson enjoyed. Less than 100 meters down the street is a very beautiful tidal area, where we introduced our little toddler to his first fiddler crabs. My sister-in-law loved her morning runs in the area. The owners (Steve and Ricki) were attentive and made us feel welcome. I highly recommend the house."

  • breathtaking views

"When we arrived, Anne had the heat already turned on for us. The whole time there, the temp didn't really go above 40 but we still enjoyed the beach that is really close to the house. The house was immaculate and well stocked with everything we needed. We had a small maintenance issue and it was resolved very quickly by the very friendly property manager. We have stayed at the Cape many times in the past but not on the National Seashore side. Falling asleep to the crashing waves was awesome. We definitely want to come back to this house. We loved it!"
