  • Very clean, near our favorite beaches, beds comfortable

    "This house was in the perfect location for our family. It was super clean when we arrived. We had plenty of room for our family of 5, with three teenaged kids (actually didn't even use one of the bedrooms). We havent rented a house on the Cape in awhile so we were thrilled to have three showers and a kitchen and living room to spread out. Outside shower was great. Location was key as we go to Beachcomber and Whitecrest as well as utilize the bike path, which is 1.5 miles away. The owner was extremely communicative and responsive. Beds were very comfortable. No A/C but ceiling fans in each bedroom kept us plenty cool."

  • Quintessential Cape Code Cottage

    "This little gem has everything one could need for a perfect Wellfleet get away. We have stayed here as a family with 2 teenaged girls, and this year we visited as first time empty nesters. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The outside shower is lovely after a long day at the beach. The owners are very easy to work with and are accommodating. We are already excited for our 2017 visit."

  • Great Location

    "Overall we had a very good experience renting this house. I do however have a few complaints: 1. I was very turned off to fina property on vrbo (vacation rental by OWNER) and have to deal with a rental agent at the end of the day 2. The hot water was very tempermental. You would turn the shower to your desired temp and it would only last for about a minutes before getting cooler again. At that point you would have to turn the temp up again and deal with this throughout the length of your shower. 3. Dont try getting the keys before 3pm. I called the rental agent over a week in adavance to see if I would be able to get the keys early bc I knew I would be there early in the day. She said to call the day of and she will try to get ahold of the cleaning crew to let us know once the cleaning is complete. I called the day of check in and got someone else. She comepletely bkew me off and I had to basically force her to take my phone number. After never getting a call I showed uo at the rental angency location at 2:35pm. I told once again no check in before 3. I went and drove by the house to make sure I knew where I was going. I went right back to the rental agency. At this point its 245 and the lady I had spoke with 10 minutes before was handing out keys to the dozen people ahead of me in line. Why not tell that you are going to be handing out keys soon instead of telling me to come back at 3 I guess my main compaints are with the rental agency. I would much rather deal directly with an owner and have them take a fee hundred dollar security deposit that gets returned instead of being charged $100 in bs fees and then guve you a hard time about check in/out. I have been renting properties in the Wellfleet area for the past 10 years. I would rent this one again, hopefully the agency with me a little more willing to work with and not give us such a hard time next time."

  • We loved it!!

    "The property was beautifully maintained, and perfect for our multigenerational family! We spent a lot of time on the back deck and in the backyard. Hammock was a special favorite. Enjoyed walks to the marsh, and drives to beaches and ponds. Centrally located for trips to Truro, Provincetown, and Wellfleet. Location was quiet and we only once heard a neighbor, and once heard some animal activity in the backyard (raccoons?). Could have used one more bathroom on the second floor. Should we arrange a return trip to Cape Cod, we'd be happy to stay here!"
