  • Lovely place, much thought given to renters' stay/needs

"I just returned from a week at this lovely house. As the photos show, it and its location and view are spectacular. It was amazingly peaceful and beautiful - the wind in the pines, the view of the marsh as the tide changed, the flocks of swallows at dusk ...My old dog and I walked down the path behind the house or the road to the lovely bay beach at least once a day (and drove elsewhere to explore other lovely places nearby). The path itself was lovely and at the beach, there were tidal pools and sandbars and serious clammers, and the water was warm enough to walk barefoot in. I knew from the photos (and having seen the house in person last spring) that the house was gorgeous but did not then know of the care, attention and anticipation of guests' needs that the owners give. The house was fully stocked with anything you might need, including several thoughtful additions like a small stereo, tons of beach toys/chairs, appliances and utensils and kitchenware (all high end/quality), spices (including my favorite Saigon Cinnamon for adding to coffee), a bucket for washing your sandy feet before entering the house, a book on local/similar houses in the area and their amazing architects, etc. It was chilly weather, as expected during a mostly cloudy late September week, but small space heaters were provided and were helpful. The rental price was an incredible value; the house, like a home (an extra nice one); and one of the owners was immediately responsive anytime I had a question (beginning last May when I first saw the house listing. I did not need/use the lower level but it was much nicer than I expected (for any lower level and given some other comments about the humidity), and I would certainly stay down there if I had guests (like children or older folks) for whom it would be better to stay on the main level. I'd return to this house in a heartbeat and very much hope I can and do."

  • Fabulous! I love this house.

"This was our third year renting this lovely, cozy, clean, and charming house. The convenient location in the quiet West End was ideal for us: five minute bike ride into town; two mile loop past the scenic Breakwater for walking the dogs; just over a mile from the bike path and Herring Cove Beach. The attractive landscaping, great floor plan (bedrooms downstairs; open living/dining/kitchen space and deck upstairs), pleasing color scheme, vibrant artwork, and comfortable furnishings make this house feel like our home away from home. We had seven—SEVEN!— glorious days in a row of brilliant sunshine during our stay. Our fun-filled vacation included daily long walks with the dogs; picnicking on the spectacular expanses of pristine, sandy beach at Herring Cove and Race Point; watching happy seals and whales frolic offshore; witnessing a rescued dolphin being released back into the ocean; biking into town for shopping and dinner; biking to Truro; biking every inch of the thrilling, convoluted bike path (twice!); enjoying cocktails on the marvelous deck each afternoon; and dining out at terrific (The Mews; Napi’s; Lobster Pot) restaurants each night. We love Provincetown in the fall, and we adore this gem of a house. The owner, Michael, was kind, welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. I highly recommend this wonderful house to anyone looking for the perfect place to stay in Provincetown."

  • Perfect Everything!

"I originally chose this cottage as a girls' getaway weekend thank you gift to my mom for helping me plan my July'16 wedding. It was the perfect size for the two of us and great location. Eva (the owner) had emailed us a long list of activity suggestions before we arrived to kind of give us the lay of the land since neither of us had been to Cape Cod prior. Once we arrived we were blown away by how quaint the outside of the cottage was but even more pleasantly surprised once we entered. The layout was perfect and decor looked Home & Garden magazine-worthy. The location was perfect - a 3 minute walk to whale watching (which we highly recommend - we saw 13 whales extremely close to our boat), the beach only a short walk away and Hyannis, not even a 5 minute car ride away. It truly was the perfect weekend and this cottage felt like home at the end of our 2.5 day stay. We actually looked forward to going back and relaxing on the front porch with a glass of wine. Eva was a delight to work with and secure our reservation and if we decide to go back to the Cape (which we are already talking about doing), we would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you Eva!"
