  • Perfect size and perfect location for a pair of Cape lovers

"My husband and I have stayed at vacation rentals around the world, and one of the biggest challenges is finding a place that's feels right for two. This charming Cape was just right. We slept upstairs in the roomy bedroom under the eaves and used the downstairs bedroom as a dressing room. The cottage was immaculate and charmingly furnished with great wall art, lots of books, a well-equipped kitchen, and the overall felt like a home -- exactly what we're looking for in bypassing the sterile feel of most hotels and motels. And it is located in the historic heart of the Cape, just off the Old King's Highway -- Route 6A -- one of the most beautiful roads in the USA that winds along the north shore from Sandwich to Orleans, passing dozens of historic homes, historic inns, historic shops, etc. A short drive to the north or south brings you to miles of beach at Sandy Neck or Mayflower Beach, and from the Barnstable town dock you can head out on a whale watch or pick up a rental kayak to explore Barnstable Harbor. There are a handful of restaurants and shops within walking distance of the cottage, as is the boardwalk over the marsh at Gray's Beach. In short, this cottage was a perfect size and a perfect location for a pair of Cape lovers."

  • A relaxing, warm and perfectly located home!

"Our first thought after a comfortable and private week in this wonderful home was, "when can we come back"? Don, the owner is gracious, and cares about his guests as though we were friends and family. We had several visitors come and go and the home is suited for a romantic two some or a family. One of our guests was in a wheelchair and the first floor bedroom and bath made it possible for her to visit. The walk to the private beach is less than 1/2 mile (walking) and the overall location is close to several towns and activities. We cant wait to go back!"

  • Cape Cod Beach House

"Wonderful, classic Cape Cod house with plenty of room for our 3 couples. Location is West Yarmouth was perfect for us as first-time visitors. The house would be excellent for families with kids and friends, especially in the summer, as there are nooks, crannies and "secret" bedrooms throughout. The house was comfortable and served us well. John provided excellent recommendations as to things to do and places to eat (especially the Black Cat in Hyannis). We were busy each day exploring the Cape - Province Town, Martha's Vineyard, Plymouth, and of course the light houses. John responded to our inquiries in a timely manner - sorry we didn't get to meet him in person."
