  • Beautiful home and natural setting

"Beautiful, comfortable home thoughtfully integrated into serene natural setting on hill overlooking woods in Truro's National Seashore area. Perfect for "getting away from it all" for relaxing family vacation with lots of quality downtime and outdoor activities. Secluded heated pool with landscaped garden overlooking woods. One of the Cape's most beautiful beaches (Longnook) is a short drive/bike ride/jog away (1.7 miles), and Truro's amazing network of other Atlantic and Bay side beaches are easily accessible through short scenic drives and bike rides. Warm, tastefully designed/decorated family home with layout and conveniences to comfortably accommodate multiple generations."

  • Great location, a clean home with everything you need, and a perfect place to relax!!

"A co-worker recommended Popponesset as the ideal place to bring a family for vacation and she was right!! We couldn’t get away for an entire week, but spent 4 nights at this property and loved it!! When we opened the door, we noticed how clean the home was-it was absolutely spotless! The owners are incredibly organized and have everything you need at this home-they work hard to make sure that you have an enjoyable and relaxing stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, and even an M&Ms dispenser. The location is just a quick walk to the beach and across from the community center and the people we encountered were so friendly and welcomingW It was the first time that our boys swam in the ocean, but what they loved as much was the outdoor shower. We can’t wait to head back again! We highly recommend it."

  • Best Sunsets on the Cape

"The house has an interesting layout with multiple floors that offer a sense of privacy when groups are staying. The décor is bright and cheery and complements the warm sunlight that touches every room. The upper floor deck is a wonderful place to enjoy your morning coffee, but my favorite was going out there at night to listen to the ocean surf and look at the stars. The owners have provided all the essential amenities from a Nespresso machine in the kitchen to comfortable couches to cozy up on to watch your favorite movie. The sunsets at the beach that is just a short walk away are some of the best on the Cape."

  • great family vacation

"This house was perfect for our multi-generation family vacation - we had room for us, our kids and both of our mothers in a nice neighborhood setting. Although we did use the dining room, the deck was the ideal place for most of our meals and accomodated the kids at the smaller table and the adults (and plenty of food and beverage) at the larger - in fact most of the time we were there, at least one of us was on the deck! We enjoyed the beaches (not having to cart boogie boards and beach equipment from home was a huge help) and the lovely town of Wellfleet as well as day drives to surrounding towns. Lesley was very responsive to my emails and provided a very helpful list of suggestions for shopping, dining and fun!"
