  • Perfect little get away house.

"My family and I loved this house for our long weekend away. Everything was clean and well kept. The outdoor deck and garden was also well maintained. It was just a short walk to the beach and just a short drive to woods hole or falmouth center. Dee Dee the owner got back to me right away and was easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this property to other families."

  • Spectacular Sunset Views and Absolute Serenity

"My family vacationed in West Falmouth for years so I have very fond memories of the area. I am so happy to have found this cozy beach cottage nestled in the dunes. The cottage is everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing getaway from it all whether you’re traveling with a small family, another person, or by yourself. The cottage is a wonderful combination of vintage Cape Cod with modern amenities. While compact, the cottage makes great use of space with a combined living and dining room with a stone fireplace for taking the chill off a cool night and amazing westerly views of Little Island and Buzzards Bay. The master bedroom also faces the water and it was wonderful falling asleep to the sounds of the waves against the beach. The kitchen is bright and cheery, and well stocked with kitchen gadgets if want to dine in. Stairs in the kitchen lead up to a roof top deck with two lounge chairs where I enjoyed watching the ever changing light off the ocean, the tides, the clouds floating by, and the most spectacular sunsets. (The morning glow of sunrise is also special.) Step off the back porch off the living area and you are in the dunes where a short path takes you to a private white sugar fine sandy beach. At low tide there are sandbars which make for a family friendly beach. I enjoyed walking the beach at different times of the day looking for shells and exploring Little Island. Located at the end of the crushed shell lane right on the beach, the cottage is incredibly private. But, it’s also conveniently located to the village center which includes West Falmouth Market, an ice cream shop (summer only), a café, the West Falmouth Library and access to the bike path. Several restaurants are nearby in either direction on Rt. 28A and at the Sea Crest Hotel on Old Silver Beach, and of course, Falmouth is a 10 to 15-minute drive away for more activities including the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Peggy was easy to work with, responded quickly to my emails, and patiently answered my questions about booking through VRBO. I’m looking forward to returning next year!"

  • Chris C.

"My family booked this place for a mini family reunion, and it EXCEEDED every expectation we had--the pictures do NOT do it justice! Harbor House and the surrounding property are absolutely beautiful. The home is immaculate with high-end, tasteful finishes, and is very warm and inviting. There's plenty of space for everyone to spread out, yet have their privacy too. Craig was very available and easygoing. I can't recommend this property highly enough--we had an awesome experience there!"

  • A wonderful house on Little Sippewissett Marsh

"The house has a wonderful view on Little Sippewissett Marsh and is just 5 minute walk from Woodneck beach, and a short ride from the Shining Sea bikeway. We were a family of three and felt very comfortable in the house. It has everything one needs for a relaxing vacation"
