  • Quintessential Cape cottage, walk to the beach

"Quaint and cute, with Cape decor and personal touches. Owner was responsive to text messages and pleasant to work with. Kids liked running around the back yard, collecting twigs for the fire pit and using the tree swing. Enjoyed meals on the deck overlooking the river. Wished I had brought a wagon for toting kids to the beach and there it was! Galley kitchen is small for food prep but has plenty of amenities - although knives were too dull to cut a watermelon. Thank goodness for the coffee maker! Like another poster said, be wary of how well the guests before you cleaned the dishes and cups. Liked having dressers in the bedrooms for putting away clothes and the wicker laundry basket was a nice touch. Queen bed was rather soft, but twin beds were comfortable - all could use new mattress pads and pillows. Small stand up shower but the outdoor shower made post beach cleanup more fun. A/C was powerful and WiFi worked just fine. Didn't realize it was a duplex until we arrived, but our neighbor was quiet and rarely home. Quick drive to everything (Pirate's Cove mini golf, Skull Island Go-Karts, Pancake Man restaurant) and nice 1/2 mile walk with designated pedestrian lane to Seagull Beach (beware of seaweed.) No parking fee after Labor Day! Could have used more paper towels and some trash bags before we arrived and had time to get our own. Trash receptacle was mostly full and smoke detector was missing. All in all a very convenient place to stay for families seeking a low key, quintessential Cape experience. Would stay again and bring additional family to rent the other side!"

  • Good Times

"Our children and grandchildren enjoyed our stay immensely with the big back yard for soccer and enough bedrooms for all. The deck that accommodated all 12 of us, and the glorious weather, allowed us to eat every meal outside. We loved Seagull Beach, but it's not a short walk; it's a 2.3 mile walk. It is an easy walk to miniature golf, though. W. Yarmouth is a good location with easy drives to other Cape Cod attractions like the National Seashore, kayaking and the Cape Cod Rail Trail for biking. Fun times, for sure."

  • Perfect Cape Cod home close to everything!

"Just over a week away from Labor Day weekend I was looking for a home to stay at for myself, wife, sister and 3 year old son so I did not have high hopes cutting it so close. I reached out to Scott after viewing the home and he literally got back to me within minutes! We arrived on Friday 9/2 and immediately loved the home.. nicer than the pictures online! (There have been recent updates not reflected in the pictures). There's a small beach just down the road that we walked to the first day which is perfect for small children with swing sets and great views. Kalmus, Sea Gull and Parkers River Beach are all a short drive away. Our favorite was Parker Rivers Beach, it's right across from The Skipper Restaurant. It's a cozy family oriented beach perfect for families. Speaking of The Skipper.. great food and service, would recommend it to any and all! We grilled out a couple nights on the great deck using the Weber grill included along with everything you could need to cook a good a meal at home. The Chromecast was great for streaming movies and shows from my phone during down time at night. The beds were super comfortable and we all had 3 great nights of sleep! Scott was extremely responsive to any questions I had and very easy to communicate with. I would stay here again in a heart beat and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great Cape getaway!"

  • Great Property... Close to Everything...

"We stayed at this property in late August and we cannot be happier. It is close to everywhere you need to go while staying at Cape Cod. The Seagull beach is within walking distance. A few minutes away are the West Dennis beaches along with many places for various water activities (kayak, paddle board, jet ski, banana boat, etc.). Activities for younger children were also nearby (inflatable park, mini-golf, ice cream shops, etc.). The restaurants and shops are also blocks away. Our family felt welcomed upon arrival. The owner, HoYin, was very accommodating. The house had enough room for 6 adults, 1 teenager and 2 children. It was clean and well maintained. The bedrooms were spacious and having two full bathrooms was a plus! We enjoyed playing in the backyard and using the fire pit! We highly recommend this property and will definitely tell friends to consider this house if they ever plan to visit Cape Cod."
