  • Great little house with tons of space!

"My extended family and I spent a week here this August. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The house was clean, comfortable and had plenty of room for 2 families with kids. The private beach is a short walk from the house and Seagull beach a quick 5 minute drive. The place is STOCKED! We had everything thing we needed for cooking in the kitchen and the basement has additional beach gear and bikes for the kids (we couldn't fit our sons bike and we were SO happy when we saw there was a bike for him to use). My sister in Law and I have to say that our favorite feature was the outdoor shower! We used it even on days we didn't go to the beach!"

  • Perfect size and perfect location for a pair of Cape lovers

"My husband and I have stayed at vacation rentals around the world, and one of the biggest challenges is finding a place that's feels right for two. This charming Cape was just right. We slept upstairs in the roomy bedroom under the eaves and used the downstairs bedroom as a dressing room. The cottage was immaculate and charmingly furnished with great wall art, lots of books, a well-equipped kitchen, and the overall felt like a home -- exactly what we're looking for in bypassing the sterile feel of most hotels and motels. And it is located in the historic heart of the Cape, just off the Old King's Highway -- Route 6A -- one of the most beautiful roads in the USA that winds along the north shore from Sandwich to Orleans, passing dozens of historic homes, historic inns, historic shops, etc. A short drive to the north or south brings you to miles of beach at Sandy Neck or Mayflower Beach, and from the Barnstable town dock you can head out on a whale watch or pick up a rental kayak to explore Barnstable Harbor. There are a handful of restaurants and shops within walking distance of the cottage, as is the boardwalk over the marsh at Gray's Beach. In short, this cottage was a perfect size and a perfect location for a pair of Cape lovers."

  • Delightful cottage! Perfect stress free getaway.

"We went post season and had the best weather with no crowds! Plenty of room on the beach. Many fine restaurants still open. Quaint cottage stocked with everything you need. Local beach steps away and bigger West Dennis beach a quick walk. Highly recommend!!"

  • Lovely stay at a charming house with an exceptional porch...

"My family and I spent a lovely week in your charming summer house! We fell in love with the screened in porch (complete with stereo system) and the well appointed, updated kitchen. Neat & tidy, comfortable and well located--the house had everything we needed and more. Both of my college age sons enjoyed playing pool and ping pong in the basement and my parents who are 75+ were also very comfortable. We all appreciated the AC window units and the ductless AC unit that cooled the living room beautifully. My family and I have been coming to Dennis for over 20 years (from NJ and central MA) because we like its mid-Cape location and sophisticated charm. Some family favorites are Mayflower beach, Sesuit Harbor (especially the cafe), Cape playhouse, Smugglers Ice Cream, The Marshside restaurant, etc... I'm grateful for all you've done to make your summer house so accommodating and would definitely like to come back again next summer!"
