  • Secluded, yet close to everything

"The pictures that we saw were exactly what we found when we arrived at this beautiful, clean, and well-maintained property. We've stayed at other properties listed on and found that "linens provided" sometimes means two towels despite the fact that our reservation was for more people. Not the case here. We had all the linens we needed for bedding, bathing, beach visits, dish washing, and then more. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, except food. One of the members of the owner's family stopped by to check in on us the morning after we arrived to be sure that everything was OK. The location is conveniently located between Hyannis (site of Kennedy history), Falmouth (fairy to Martha's Vineyard), and Plymouth (where the Mayflower docked). Nearby ice cream stands, a short walk to a private beach, and short drives to by groceries made this a perfect stay. Despite the fact that the weather was warmer than much of the year and that there is no AC, the fans cooled things off in the house really well and we were comfortable. We don't choose to have cable or satellite TV at home, so having access to watching TV during the Olympics was a huge bonus for our kids, and since there was WiFi available, we could connect when we needed to without using our data plan. In summary: highly recommended property - owners are fabulous and quick to respond - if we vacation in Cape Cod again, we'd look to see if this house were available before checking out others. Unless AC is a must have for you or the size (sleeps 9 in 3 bedrooms + living room pull-out), you can't go wrong with this rental."

  • Great location, beautiful home!

"We just returned from a truly wonderful vacation. The Mayflower Beach Villas are gorgeous, and are an easy walk to a calm, beautiful beach between Mayflower and Chapin (great for kids!). The house is clean and new, with new appliances, beds, linens, fire pit, and even a Weber gas grill. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you could need (even a giant lobster pot!). We could not have been happier with the accommodations! And even better, Joe was extremely responsive to a minor appliance issue we had- he truly went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We cannot wait to return next year! You cannot go wrong renting this property. You are going to love it!"

  • Hope to stay again next year.

"Our stay was very pleasant. The house is large enough to fit 6 adults comfortably! It was clean and well kept. You would never know that they have allowed dogs in the house. It was spotless. We were so grateful to have our dog with us. He loves the beach and traveling with us. Simon was very accommodating at the last minute with some date changes. We were so grateful as we were traveling with elderly parents who had some health issues. I would definitely stay again as the house is centrally located and is easy access to anywhere on the Cape. Thanks again, Simon!! Bev"

  • Wonderful spot

"What a wonderful location watching the boats go by all day. There is a spacious deck where we all could gather together outside for meals and another deck section set up as an outdoor living room. The area is very quiet and peace, yet not far from the center of Orleans and the local beaches. Although in truth we were so happy here, just floating on rafts off the dock, that we hardly left. The property is well kept and we, a group of artist women, all enjoyed having our own individual 'pods' for privacy. A great time was had by all and we are planning a return trip."
