  • Excellent property

"We stayed in the Carriage House over the new years weekend. Carriage House has been recently renovated and improved. The accommodations are impeccable. Modern, clean, and inviting. The kitchen is fully stocked for preparing meals. The owner is responsive and very friendly. The location is directly across the street from Oyster Pond. A small grocery store and CVS are within walking distance. Downtown Chatham is also within walking distance. Lots of small shops and restaurants."

  • A great find!!

"My husband and I stayed at the Sea Captain's home last week. We were greeted by Anne when we arrived. She was most kind and left us plenty of food for breakfasts (fruits, english muffins, butter, jam, cream for coffee, OJ, yogurt). That was awesome! the place was larger than I thought it would be. And very clean and comfortable. There is a library right next door. About 4 doors down is a little market. They also make sandwiches there. Across the street from there is an ice cream shop and a coffee shop. The ice cream shop closed for the season last week and the coffee shop will be open until October. There is coffee in the house, so you can make your own. Very close by is the entrance to the bike path. Biking to Woods Hole is 3.9 miles. It is paved and flat. If you are more adventurous, take your bike to Marthas vineyard and bike from Oaks Bluff to Edgartown and back to Oaks Bluff. Beautiful ride. The entire ride from the house is 26.5 miles! The Beach is also nearby. Downtown is about a ten minute ride. You won't find a better location if you are looking to bike and go to the beach. Would definitely stay here again."

  • Perfect spot

"Dan and Lu, I spent last weekend at your beautiful home. It was rented for a multi-generational mom get away. There were seven of us and there was plenty of space for us all to spread out. It was particularly helpful to have bedrooms and a full bath on the first floor as my mother is 88 years young. We all enjoyed your large kitchen with the cozy family room attached. It was great to wakeup and start the day without disturbing those that were still sleeping on the other side of the house. It was very close to the beach and to downtown Hyannis with lots of good restaurant choices. Everyone agreed it was the perfect spot to relax and spend some quality time. The home is stocked as discribed with sheets, towels, books, games & paper products making the experience even easier. I can't think of anything that was missing. I would definitely recommend your home to anyone and I hope to rent your home again in the future. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us. Sharon from CT"
