  • Great Place to Stay

"Overall, it was a GREAT place to stay. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because it was 90 degrees two days that we were there, and there was not air conditioning. The unit did provide a portable a/c and 2 fans, but that was not enough to cool it down. Otherwise it was a perfect place. Size and location for great for 2 people. An iron and steamer were provided as well as towels, shampoo, etc."

  • Excellent location with abundant space for family and friends!

"We recently stayed at this lovely home on Beacon St. overlooking the Boston Public Gardens for a week during August. The place is huge! There were 4 adults, 1 teen and 1 pre-teen in our group. There are a lot of stairs but this home offered plenty of space for everyone and we still had an extra bedroom. In addition to having plenty of room another great thing about this home is the location! You can walk to so many places from here. There are multiple options for coffee, restaurants, shopping, bars (Cheers is on the same block). We enjoyed pizza from Figs, and excellent coffees and pastries from Tatte on Charles street just a short walk from the house. We also had a nice impromptu dinner at the Beacon Hill Hotel and Bistro on Charles St as well. The house was well equipped with most everything we needed and for anything else there was the Charles Street Hardware Store. There were 2 large screen TV's and comfortable sitting areas for everyone to watch a movie at night or to catch portions of the Olympics when weren't out and about town. The only reason I'm giving the rental 4 stars instead of 5 is that I felt that the quality of the linens, (sheets, pillows, towels) could be upgraded to a higher quality, which is an easy fix, but other than that everything was amazing. We felt like we were staying in our own home! Can't wait to go back again sometime. We'd definitely stay here again if traveling with another family. The home is very family/kid friendly. The house has an XBOX system and a play room. The owner was great to work with and check in/out was an easy process. If you have a chance to stay here I don't think you'll be disappointed. It's quintessential Boston at is best!"

  • Great place to stay!!!

"It was our first time to Massachusetts and this place made our trip fantastic. The owner of the house gives great service and keeps this place well kept. Furthermore, its location is close to beach and has a good view of it. This place is a great recommendation if you want to enjoy Massachusetts to its fullest."

  • Really tidy, cool place within walking distance of MIT. Local restaurants were great!

"The flat is tucked in a classic Cambridge neighborhood - the owner has done a really nice job on the place. It's very tidy, warm and comfortable. She put a lot of thought into what visitors need when they come to a new place. Coffee and cream, an iron, lots of towels, good wifi and a wonderful gracious attitude made the apartment perfect! The place is within walking distance of MIT, and transit lines. It was a 10 min ride to the airport and the North End. Perfect location!"
