  • An idyllic spot

"This is a truly idyllic spot - it couldn't have been better. We spent a week here and never tired of the views. The house is quirky (which I loved) as only an historic place can be. You'll never want to leave the front porch! Jamie made us feel very welcome - we wanted for nothing!"

  • Perfect in every way!

"I stayed at Sandy Feet Retreat with a group of friends who go on a girls getaway weekend every year. None of us had been to Martha's Vineyard before, and I was put in charge of our time while there. Finding lodging for our group was my first task. When I found Sandy Feet - and Kati's warm, helpful and very responsive spirit - I knew I had the perfect place for us. Sandy Feet was even better in person that it looks online! Kati's personal touches throughout the home, the comfortable rooms, spacious common areas, and well-equipped kitchen all helped to make it an inviting home to relax in after a day of sight-seeing. And Kati's helpful tips about sights to see and places to dine were spot-on. Each time I consulted her while planning our trip, she was quick to respond and offer great suggestions. Her love of the area is obvious and shines forth in this lovely home. From Sandy Feet, we walked to Morning Glory Farms to explore their fresh baked goods and produce. We had rented cars, so were able to drive to Aquinnah Beach- making stops along the way. On the way back, we enjoyed a seafood picnic while watching the sunset at Menemsha Beach. We also rode bikes to Oak Bluffs, did a sailing tour with Mad Max Sailing, had spa treatments, shopped and explored Edgartown. Before and after each outing we thoroughly enjoyed our time spent in the comfort of Sandy Feet Retreat. After our visit to Sandy Feet I think Martha's Vineyard has a whole group of new admirers who hope to return some time in the future!"

  • Truly Our Home Away from Home

"My family has been vacationing on the Vineyard for over 20 years. We found this home around 10 years ago and fell in love with it. The home is well suited for our large group of up to 15 . Over the years the owner has completed many updates including a complete renovation in the last few years including central air and a new kitchen and bathroom! Those renovations have made the home even more enjoyable and comfortable. The home is right across the street from the newly and beautifully renovated Niantic Park, 2 min. walk to Circuit Ave., 5 min. walk to the beach, and the new bowling alley is right around the corner. We love the Vineyard and this home and look forward to returning for years to come."

  • Great Girls Weekend!

"We had an amazing stay at Barbara's home in Edgartown! We could walk everywhere downtown for food, shopping, etc. The house was also close to a bus stop for when we wanted to visit Oak Bluffs one afternoon. It was a great place to serve as "home base" while we explored the island. Her home is so lovely and had plenty of space for all of us. Everything was clean, she gave clear directions regarding the house, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We had a great weekend and will definitely be back!"
