  • We should have stayed for 2 weeks!

"This rental delivers exactly what it states. It's very clean and comfortable cottage on a picturesque setting on the water. Really really relaxing and quiet cove you can paddle or swim on. We paddled over to several small coves and Sandy P oints for picnics and fishing, the stripers had moved out into cooler water, but my 11 yr old was happy to catch crabs and minnows the beach. No AC but that wasn't a problem, the evening temp and breeze made it great for sleeping. We found it easy to drive or bike into Vinyard Haven, or drop down to Edgardtown or south beach. If you rent this cottage, you will probably notice how quiet the point is, and how little traffic comes up the road. You can bbq on the charcoal grill, or get to several restuarants in VH in 5 minutes even if traffic is busy. Overall, we loved staying here and plan to go back next year."

  • Wonderful Experience!!!

"Three days and two nights of almost constant rain...wind-whipped by Hurricane Joaquin...AND YET we had a fantastic time! This pet friendly house is beautifully decorated/appointed and very well equipped with many comfortable places for us and our four guests to gather and relax, both indoors and out. The grounds, backyard hot tub and outdoor fireplace were (weather permitting) highlights of the outdoor experience. The dining room table was the epicenter of some hotly contested board games. The family photos and memorabilia created a warm and hospitable environment. The house is located on a quiet street and is within easy walking distance of charming Edgartown. Carlin, the owner, was extremely helpful, engaged and interesting - she even had the freezer stocked with delicious muffins upon our arrival! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this beautiful home."

  • The best family home on the Vineyard!

"Wow, you have found the best family home on Martha's Vineyard! We vacationed for 2 weeks (July 3-15, 2016) at this fabulous, 5 bedroom, harborview home. We travel as a family of 6-10 (parents, 2 teens, 2 tweens) and include grandparents, so a property that serves multi-generations is key. The 1st floor bedroom was perfect for grandma, and the 4 bedrooms up, including a kids hang out pooltable area, allowed plenty of sleeping accommodations. The separate livingroom and TV rooms on the first floor allowed us to spread out. The highlight is the porch, with a covered pavillion table and seating for 8, overlooking the harbor and the spacious yard. The short walk down the road to a public access beach was truly a bonus, as many beaches around the island are private. Daily short drives into town to Stop 'n Shop for groceries and Winds Up to take lessons in any water sport you desire (sailing, stand up paddle boards, kayaking), made Vineyard Haven the right choice as apposed to congested traffic in other MV towns. Preston was very responsive home owner to work with. We highly recommend this home."
