  • Even Better the Second Time Around!

"This summer, our family returned to this quintessential island home for the second consecutive year. Previously, we had spent several years "rental-hopping" trying to match location and space, plus amenities, to our needs. We are thrilled that we found the perfect match for us and our young boys (now ages 6 and 4) and hope to continue to rent as long as Billy and Betsy will have us! This home has it all: location to our favorite spots (walking, driving, and biking), indoor and outdoor space, a cottage which accommodates for outdoor napping for young children (and admittedly, an adult on occasion) and possibly a little independence for kids in their pre-teen+ years. A short walk, even with young children, to Edgartown, proximity to the grocery store, local brewery, ice cream, play ground, museum, and more!, short drives to our favorite beaches (we tend to stick to our favorites: Long Point Cove and South Beach), and our trips to Aquinnah and Menemsha direct and super easy. You honestly cannot ask for more! Billy and Betsy are very transparent and quite easy to work with; they are truly eager to help you make the most of your stay."

  • Perfect in every way!

"I stayed at Sandy Feet Retreat with a group of friends who go on a girls getaway weekend every year. None of us had been to Martha's Vineyard before, and I was put in charge of our time while there. Finding lodging for our group was my first task. When I found Sandy Feet - and Kati's warm, helpful and very responsive spirit - I knew I had the perfect place for us. Sandy Feet was even better in person that it looks online! Kati's personal touches throughout the home, the comfortable rooms, spacious common areas, and well-equipped kitchen all helped to make it an inviting home to relax in after a day of sight-seeing. And Kati's helpful tips about sights to see and places to dine were spot-on. Each time I consulted her while planning our trip, she was quick to respond and offer great suggestions. Her love of the area is obvious and shines forth in this lovely home. From Sandy Feet, we walked to Morning Glory Farms to explore their fresh baked goods and produce. We had rented cars, so were able to drive to Aquinnah Beach- making stops along the way. On the way back, we enjoyed a seafood picnic while watching the sunset at Menemsha Beach. We also rode bikes to Oak Bluffs, did a sailing tour with Mad Max Sailing, had spa treatments, shopped and explored Edgartown. Before and after each outing we thoroughly enjoyed our time spent in the comfort of Sandy Feet Retreat. After our visit to Sandy Feet I think Martha's Vineyard has a whole group of new admirers who hope to return some time in the future!"

  • Our Dream Honeymoon House

"For the past two years we've rented this cottage - celebrating our wedding and honeymoon here and we look forward to many trips to this special spot. Our favorite feature is the access to Sengekontack Pond. A quick walk down the street allows us to watch the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises over the water. The home provides access to a Paddleboard and the pond was the perfect place for a newbie like me to try out (and discover I loved!) the sport. The house is clean, uncluttered and has all the amentities needed for a cookout or a movie night in. The outdoor shower, the deck for grilling/eating and the fenced in yard for our dogs made it at great hangout spot for the nights we didn't head into town. The nights we did go into Edgartown - it was a quick drive (great location in that town is close but house is still located in a quiet neighborhood). Highly recommend this special spot (as do our 2 dogs :)."

  • Peaceful and relaxing

"28 Boldwater Road is a beautiful property; secluded and a wonderful place for couples or families to reconnect. The views to the pond and the ocean are stunning; the private beach on the pond, peaceful; and the motor boat that gives you access to the entire pond and the ocean, make this spot a gem. Inside, the bedrooms have a great deal of privacy while the living room and dining room offer great places to come together; as does the screened in porch. Our favorite spot was the deck between the house and the apartment where we enjoyed happy hour every evening."
