  • Charming Edgartown compound near MV airport

"Three close families booked the two homes in this charming, spacious Edgartown compound and had a wonderful week. The setting was idyllic, relaxing and quiet. The dirt road leading to the homes felt remote at first but the location proved to be fairly convenient to town and biking once we more familiar with the area. We also were close to the amazing Morning Glory Organic Store, which was helpful for stocking the kitchen. Moreover, the compound had everything needed on the beautifully landscaped grounds including 2 hot tubs, a pool with lounge chairs and a hammock. The homes are well-designed with modern amenities and homey touches including sun porches, comfortable beds; a recreation/fitness room with a pingpong table, fitness bike and a elliptical machine; washer/dryer, well-appointed kitchen and a generous veranda style porch. The owners were accommodating and helpful during our stay. Our only regret was not being closer to the beach but we found a fairly private beach about 15 minutes away by car that we thoroughly enjoyed. In sum, the accommodations more than fulfilled our expectations and we hope to return in the future."

  • A Relaxing Oasis

"I stayed at Sandy Feet Retreat with family and friends and there was plenty of room for us all to relax and have fun together, or find quiet time alone. The main house has a very large living room, a dining area with a beautiful, large table, and a very functional kitchen with everything you could need to cook meals together as well as a gas grill outside. There is a screened in porch with couches and chairs as well as an open porch with a double swing overlooking the back yard. There is also a wonderful, large hammock which turned out to be a great spot for an afternoon nap. Back inside the house, there are two bedrooms on the first floor: one with a queen bed and one with 2 single beds and a bunk bed. There is also a full bathroom on the first floor with a fantastic walk in shower. The upstairs has a laundry room, a master bedroom/bathroom that is quite large and wonderfully designed. There is also a queen bedroom also with its own bathroom upstairs. The guest house is very close to the main house so you have privacy, but yet do not feel removed from the the main house. It has an outdoor shower which I used every day, a living room and eat in kitchen on the first floor along with a half bath, and the entire second floor is the bedroom! Both houses are very well appointed, decorated with interesting artwork and items the owner has brought back from her travels, and very clean. I looked at the photos on this site many times in anticipation of my stay, and the houses and yard are even more beautiful in person!! It was wonderful to meet the owner and care taker in person as they are wonderful, friendly people. I can't say enough about how happy we were to stay here, and it is clear that Kati put a lot of thought into the design and decoration of the homes. The location is removed from the main road, but still close enough to walk to Morning Glory Farm or to hop the bus, ride your bike, or even walk to downtown Edgartown. Thank you for a wonderful stay and I will definitely be back!!!"

  • Woman's getaway

"Our group has been coming to the Vineyard for the past 27 years. We have spent time in different towns all over the island but our favorite is Edgartown. This house was perfect! Being in town it was very convenient to shopping, sightseeing and restaurants. Plenty of off street parking which is imperative in Edgartown. The yard was gorgeous with the pool and hot tub being an extra bonus. Multiple areas inside and out for everyone to spread out. We can't wait to go back next year!!"

  • Perfect spot

"We had never traveled to Martha's Vineyard before, so we could easily have picked a location that would have not met our needs. However, we hit the jackpot. The home's location put us within walking distance of Edgartown (not having to find a parking space even in September was a real plus) so everyone had independence to come and go. We were able to explore the island by car and enjoyed doing so several days. But for the most part, we loved being able to go into town for lunch and dinner and shopping, head to the beach (a short drive away) or just relax in the lovely outdoor spaces around the house. Our time on Martha's Vineyard couldn't have been better and our rental home and location did so much to make it so."
