  • great value & location

"The property is in a great location, very private with lots of natural light. We had a car and it was helpful for exploring but not needed. Edgartown was our favorite area for dining and owner's recommendations were spot on. The cottage and furnishings were very clean, comfortable, and well designed; master bed was great!"

  • Love it!

"We have stayed at the garden cottage for years and loved every visit! It is a great location - bike to town or the beach!. We love the having the grill, outdoor shower and picnic table for dinners outside. The washer and dryer are wonderful traveling with children! The owners are accommodating and lovely to work with. Best week of our summer!"

  • Lovely week in a lovely home!

"We thoroughly enjoyed spending last week at this wonderful home. As soon as you arrive in the Dodger’s Hole neighborhood, you’ll instantly leave all your worldly worries behind. It is woodsy area that has a great neighborhood feel, very clean and well kept. The home is even more spacious and updated than it appears in the photos. It's set back in a small cul-de-sac and feels very private. The open kitchen was awesome for putting together family lunch for the beach and not being stuck inside a cramped space. Afterall – vacation is for family time. The great thing about the location is that the home is nice and shady for most of the day, keeping it cool and comfortable. We easily made very quick trips to South Beach (Katama) and Bend-in-the-Road Beach (State Beach). We took day trips to Aquinnah Public Beach and Menemsha, to check out the fishing village, which are both about 20 minutes away by car. The outdoor shower (which was working just fine when we were there) was excellent for rinsing off the sand, salt and sunscreen. Then relax with a cocktail on the porch, and listen to nature as the sun goes down. Having the Blueray player to access Netflix and watch movies (JAWS!) was very nice for relaxing after a long day at the beach."

  • Clean and convenient

"We stayed at this property in July and it is one I would definitely rent again. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The RightFork Diner, which is one of our favorite spots was just down the street. Downtown Edgartown was a short and pleasant bike ride away. We enjoyed the back deck area and my kids loved the hammock. The home owner (Sandra) stopped by shortly after we arrived and answered any questions we may have had. We plan on returning next summer."
