  • A Wonderful Home for a Family Vacation

"My family had not vacationed on Martha's Vineyard in more than 20 years, so we were looking for a great house for a memorable trip. We needed space for seven adults and a dog, close to town but with enough privacy for our large group. This house fit the bill perfectly, and made our vacation an amazing week for all. The home is located in a corner wooded lot with plenty of trees and multiple outdoor seating areas. The inside of the home is roomy, with three bedrooms and a loft for sleeping and several rooms for large group gatherings. The home was cool in the mornings and evenings, which was a plus in the heat of August. The home is located right off of a main road connecting Edgartown, Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven, which made getting around the island very easy. It is also right next to the bike path, which made for some great trips into town. We arrived to a clean and well-maintained property that was obviously cared for, and which was true to the listing description. In the run-up to our arrival date, Paul - the owner - was very helpful in ensuring that we had everything we needed, providing instructions as to what items the house had (several bikes, washer/dryer, beach chairs) and what to bring. This is a terrific house to come home to after a long day enjoying the island, and great for those nights when you just want to stay in and play a board game. It is a great place to stay, and I would recommend it to anyone, especially larger groups. We had an incredible family vacation on the island, and this home had a lot to do with that."

  • Perfect Getaway in Paradise

"We just spent a long 'off season' weekend on Metells Way; the time of year when there is virtually no traffic on the roads, beaches are deserted and no waiting in restaurant lines. This was our second stay in one of Karen's properties and like many who stayed before us we echo their sentiments about the cottage. The cottage is a quiet respite from the world beyond the shores of Martha's Vineyard. A short walk or bike ride brings you into Edgartown. Every detail is addressed to make for an optimal Island visit. Linens, bath, kitchen and beach supplies are in abundance. The cottage is comfortable, beautifully decorated and full of natural light. Karen is easily accessible for providing suggestions about where to go and what to do while on Island. We look forward to future stays when we need a break from reality. Thank for creating the perfect getaway in 'paradise'."

  • Great Place & Great Value

"Our family of four was very comfortable and pleased with the cleanliness and amenities. There is a great DVD selection and board games galore. Washer Dryer/Kitchen were updated and had all the basics. Less than five minute drive or bike ride to dike bridge and beaches for fishing, swimming and relaxation. We will be back to Chappy for certain! BTW, the Royal Chappaquiddick Golf Course is a great nine hole experience...regardless of your ability, if you like golf, go play. Brad the owner is a great guy and it was a highlight for us."

  • Amazing home-Perfect location

"We have rented from Seth and Mei for several years and have made wonderful family memories here. They are so responsive and make some sort of wonderful improvement to the house each year. The house is incredibly beautiful and so comfortable. The views from the deck are just majestic, beginning with morning coffee overlooking the farm and ending with unparalleled stargazing. The home is beautifully appointed with everything you need. My children love riding their bikes to the Katama Farm and we all love the proximity to the beach and the Right Fork for breakfast."
