  • Hidden Gem

"The property is a hidden gem, situated on a very quite cul-de-sac. The house is a 10 minute walk to town and a 15 minute walk to supermarket. On an evening a torch is required but the night skies are amazing! The house is fully equipped with everything needed for a holidaying family or couples. Karen is an excellent host, offering help and support, ensuring our stay was perfect in every way."

  • Christmas in Edgartown

"The purpose of our recent stay at this immaculate, cozy cottage was to enjoy Christmas in Edgartown and we were thoroughly delighted by our accommodations and the many things to do on the Island in December. This cottage is charmingly appointed and private. Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable was provided, including linens, a well equipped kitchen, WIFI, TV, DVD player and radio. Located just minutes from Edgartown, it is a perfect "home base" for seeing the rest of the island. Besides the Christmas festivities (parade, bazaars, chowder cook off and performances) we took advantage of quiet beaches, dining at unique restaurants and shopping at local boutiques. We recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a secluded retreat from the hustle of off-island life. It is a little 'peace' of paradise."

  • Wonderful Home

"We stayed for a week in July, and I really cannot say enough good things about the house and the owners. The house was great- open living space, plenty of rooms, well designed for multiple families(although we went as a single family of 5). There is everything you would want for cooking in the kitchen. The location is great- a short stroll on a private path to a private beach. The owners were fantastic- helpful and very nice; we even had a welcome gift of fudge and wine which was appreciated by all. The island of Chappy is quiet; there are no restaurants and essentially no stores. The ferry to and from Edgartown can get crowded if you are taking a car but we never had any wait when going by bike or foot. The house is close enough to bike to the ferry. All in all, it was a great week. We loved the house and its location. We appreciated the quiet beauty of Chappy and didn't mind the need to go into Edgartown for shopping, food etc. We spent most of the week lounging on Chappy, swimming , kayaking and biking(bikes and kayaks provided at the house) All five of us are excited to go back next year!!!"
