  • Post-Labor Day Long Weekend!

"Our group rented this house for a three day weekend in September, and we were so pleased with our stay! The house was even more roomy and accommodating than it looked in the pictures, with plenty of privacy as well as spacious communal areas for socializing. The back porch and yard with outdoor shower were a few highlights. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and pantry, and the house was well-stocked with cleaning supplies and cooking apparatus. We also loved the proximity to Edgartown - the house is walking distance to Fuller Street Beach, Lighthouse Beach, and all the coffee shops and restaurants town has to offer while still being removed from the chaos of Main Street. We found the lack of air conditioning to be a non-issue, we just opened the windows and allowed the island breezes to cool the house down. The owner was very responsive and helpful, and the whole weekend came together seamlessly. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a great place to stay in town."

  • A Wonderful Home on Martha's Vineyard

"Our family absolutely loved staying in this home. It is large enough that we did not feel under each other's feet, but cozy enough to have a wonderful close family feel. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and small appliances that you could ask for to make any kind of meal, snack or drink. We loved having a dishwasher to make meal clean up easier. Everyone slept well in the nice beds in all of the bedrooms. We also used the linens and towels which were of high quality. The bedrooms are very comfortable and roomy, making us feel right at home. We can't speak to the showers/tubs in the house because we did not use them at all, all of us used the wonderful outdoor shower everyday! I think this was one of the best features for us after a hot day riding bikes and hanging out at the beaches. It is not everyday when you can take a shower with the stars above! I loved watering the plants on the deck and seeing the hummingbirds. The neighbors are close, but the tree cover is dense enough that you do not even know you have neighbors. The home is close to Edgartown, the local Market and South Beach. We rented bicycles for our only transportation during the week and we got along well. We rode our bikes all over, there are nice bike trails and maps to help you navigate the island and the towns. We went out to a few restaurants, but we mainly prepared a majority of our meals at home. We also rode our bikes to Chappy Island(taking the ferry) and visited the lighthouse there. The description explaining the property is correct, the home is well maintained and it was very easy to communicate with the home owners, Steve and Sherri. We would recommend this rental property to anyone that wanted a home to rent while visiting Martha's Vineyard. Now that we are more familiar with the island it would be nice to return and do some of the things we were not able to do, as we ran out of time. Hopefully they will have us back! Thank you again for allowing us to rent your home and have a memorable family holiday!!"

  • Beautiful, private home for a large group.

"This is an amazing rental for a large group. The house is beautiful, spacious, and private. The pool and fire pit areas were perfect places to socialize. The seven bedrooms were lovely and the kitchen was a fantastic place to gather. The house is located inland but is a short 10 minute drive to Edgartown. It is also close to bike trails and super close to the airport. Deirdre was wonderful to work with and was always quick to respond. A few helpful hints for future renters... You are responsible for bringing your own towels and sheets. MV Clambakes is just a few minutes away and was an easy way to feed our group. Morning Glory farm is a short drive or bike ride down the road. Overall, an amazing home that I highly recommend."
