  • Great place - super clean and wonderful upgrades!

"We had the pleasure of attending a wedding on the Vineyard with old college friends, and renting the house was so economical compared to individual hotel rooms. We loved the house and the large, open floor plan! The master bedroom and shower were amazing, and the kitchen redo was as nice as my own at home. We could not have been more pleased with the location, either. Easy bike trip into Edgartown or to South Beach. The owner was super easy to work with, and offered so much information about the island. We had three couples sharing the house with easily room for more. We all agreed we would keep this house in mind for a summer group vacation in the future! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!"

  • Centrally located and right amount of space for our family of 6

"Our family of 6 (3 teenagers and one 6 month old) enjoyed this house tremendously. The house was clean, modern and had enough places for everyone to hang out but not feel like we were on top of one another. The owner was very responsive and helpful via email to questions we had prior to our stay. The screened in porch was a great place to have our morning coffee or chill after the beach. The open concept of the first floor was light, airy and conducive to socializing. The house is centrally located and right on the bike bath. We biked to South Beach (20 min. bike ride) and Edgartown and Morning Glory Farm are very close. The house is set back from the main road, so you do hear car noise during the day but less so at night. We had the fan on in the master bedroom so it wasn't as noticeable and some of my family didn't even notice it (I'm sensitive to sound!). The outside shower was great and made for three showers and helpful when we were all getting ready at the same time. The extra bikes were a nice addition as we had one of my daughter's friend stay a couple nights and we didn't bring extra bikes. Two suggestions would be to add another lamp to the master bedroom (only one lamp on the nightstand, made it difficult when two people wanted to read at night) and a broken bottom drawer on the main dresser in the master bedroom. Minor issues in the grand scheme. Overall it was a perfect house for us!"

  • Wonderful! Didn't want to leave.

"We had a great time, nobody wanted to leave! Superb location for all things in Edgartown, walking or biking distance to most activities. The yard was great for kids and the property worked very well for large families like ours, who included 24 people. Every amenity was provided that one could hope for. Martha's vineyard is a wonderful vacation destination, there are so many options for every type of interest. We happened to come during the 4th of July, and it was perfect. The parade went right past the house and we could all watch from the spacious front porch, and the fireworks were seen from the second story balcony. Thanks for allowing us to use your beautiful home for our annual vacation."

  • A Relaxing Oasis

"I stayed at Sandy Feet Retreat with family and friends and there was plenty of room for us all to relax and have fun together, or find quiet time alone. The main house has a very large living room, a dining area with a beautiful, large table, and a very functional kitchen with everything you could need to cook meals together as well as a gas grill outside. There is a screened in porch with couches and chairs as well as an open porch with a double swing overlooking the back yard. There is also a wonderful, large hammock which turned out to be a great spot for an afternoon nap. Back inside the house, there are two bedrooms on the first floor: one with a queen bed and one with 2 single beds and a bunk bed. There is also a full bathroom on the first floor with a fantastic walk in shower. The upstairs has a laundry room, a master bedroom/bathroom that is quite large and wonderfully designed. There is also a queen bedroom also with its own bathroom upstairs. The guest house is very close to the main house so you have privacy, but yet do not feel removed from the the main house. It has an outdoor shower which I used every day, a living room and eat in kitchen on the first floor along with a half bath, and the entire second floor is the bedroom! Both houses are very well appointed, decorated with interesting artwork and items the owner has brought back from her travels, and very clean. I looked at the photos on this site many times in anticipation of my stay, and the houses and yard are even more beautiful in person!! It was wonderful to meet the owner and care taker in person as they are wonderful, friendly people. I can't say enough about how happy we were to stay here, and it is clear that Kati put a lot of thought into the design and decoration of the homes. The location is removed from the main road, but still close enough to walk to Morning Glory Farm or to hop the bus, ride your bike, or even walk to downtown Edgartown. Thank you for a wonderful stay and I will definitely be back!!!"
