  • Wonderful Place !!!

"We recently stayed at this beautiful home for a mini vacation and loved it ! The pictures don't do the place justice, absolutely beautiful home inside and out. It was perfect, everything you could need in the kitchen for preparing a meal and beautiful enclosed deck to dine on or a very nice dining area inside. Lovely decorated living room to relax, enjoy a movie or surf the internet. The beds were extremely comfortable, soft and luxurious linens and very spacious rooms. We could not have wanted or picked a more perfect place to stay than here. Conveniently located to town if you enjoy walking, bus stops close by or an inexpensive taxi ride only $10.00 one way. Always plenty available morning, afternoon and night throughout town. Most importantly, the owner was a pleasure to work with. We have rented several places over the last two years and Jeff was by far the best !! Thanks again and we look forward to visiting your lovely home again in the fall :)."

  • Perfect Vineyard home

"We just returned from a week on the Vineyard. This was our second year in a row renting this home. The house is quaint and perfect for our family of 6 + a dog. We have 4 small kids and the house was perfect for us. The backyard allows for great outdoor fun with tons of yard to run freely and safely. The location is ideal and centrally located. Most importantly, the owner is available as needed, so welcome and easy going, but respects the privacy of a renting family. I would highly recommend this home for family's looking to enjoy the True experience of MV."

  • Perfect Location, Comfortable Home

"This is the fourth house we've rented on Martha's Vineyard (always Edgartown) and the best one so far. It is in the perfect location - just a few blocks from the shops, art galleries and restaurants of Edgartown but tucked away on a very quiet side street. You don't even need a car or bike because everything is so close (including the bus stop) but there is a place to park 2-3 cars. The house itself is spacious, bright, well-stocked, and nicely decorated, with loads of books everywhere. We were six people and the three main house bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were more than adequate for our needs. The bedrooms were a good size, reading nooks were present in the upper two bedrooms, and the beds themselves were quite comfortable. There was also a living room and a separate family room so we were able to spread out. The family room was bright and airy and had games and puzzles to keep the kids occupied. We also had everything we needed in the kitchen and laundry area and very much appreciated that there were beach towels and beach chairs to use. There is a pleasant back/side yard as well, which could be made more useable with a slightly different outdoor furniture configuration. The owner was also excellent to work with - responsive and helpful, reminding us of key dates like car ferry reservations and local events. I would strongly recommend this home, particularly based upon our experience of having rented three other houses within blocks of this one."

  • The perfect place!

"This is a stunning and graceful retreat thoughtfully designed so that nothing is wanting. Our family has stayed at this lovely home during the past two summers--and hope to return again and again. Whether with a small group in the main house or with additional friends or family in the guest house (also beautifully done), the configuration works well to relax comfortably. The house is designed to allow for natural light, is open and airy, and is furnished very tastefully. Everything you might need is provided - for cooking, the beach, a bike ride around the nature preserve right out back, or for a relaxing time outside on the deck or backyard hammock. The house is conveniently located close to the beach at Lambert's Cove, Cronig's Market, the Scottish Bakehouse and the towns of West Tisbury, Vineyard Haven, Oak Bluffs and Edgar Town. The owners of the house are terrific and their house is outstanding!"
