  • Secluded Sanctuary

"We spent a wonderful week in this secluded sanctuary. The drive to the house along the dirt road was an adventure as were truly surprised to see just how tucked away the house was. The house is beautifully laid out and has everything and then some that you will need to feel at home. We stayed during very hot weather, but the fans were perfect. The walk to the private beach wasn't long at all and the beach itself was a delight. Our only regret was not utilizing the beach enough. The owner was always available to answer all of my questions. We enjoyed going out to tour the island and coming back to our peaceful home away from home. If you truly want to get away from it all, this is your place!"

  • The best family home on the Vineyard!

"Wow, you have found the best family home on Martha's Vineyard! We vacationed for 2 weeks (July 3-15, 2016) at this fabulous, 5 bedroom, harborview home. We travel as a family of 6-10 (parents, 2 teens, 2 tweens) and include grandparents, so a property that serves multi-generations is key. The 1st floor bedroom was perfect for grandma, and the 4 bedrooms up, including a kids hang out pooltable area, allowed plenty of sleeping accommodations. The separate livingroom and TV rooms on the first floor allowed us to spread out. The highlight is the porch, with a covered pavillion table and seating for 8, overlooking the harbor and the spacious yard. The short walk down the road to a public access beach was truly a bonus, as many beaches around the island are private. Daily short drives into town to Stop 'n Shop for groceries and Winds Up to take lessons in any water sport you desire (sailing, stand up paddle boards, kayaking), made Vineyard Haven the right choice as apposed to congested traffic in other MV towns. Preston was very responsive home owner to work with. We highly recommend this home."

  • Beautiful and spacious home in a wonderful location on Martha's Vineyard

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay in mid-September at Lisa and Ivory's exceptional home in the Vineyard Haven area. Located just a little over a mile from the down-town area of VH, and an easy walk through a beautifully wooded area, the wonderfully appointed house offers everything a family (or families) could want for a comfortable visit to the island. Lisa and Ivory were the most gracious hosts we've ever rented from, giving us not only a personal review of the facilities but also of the vast opportunities for recreation and pleasure in the area. And they provided more travel-related info than we could possibly digest, including recommendations for the best restaurants, great sight-seeing and shopping opportunities, and a feel for the diverse areas of the Vineyard. Two of our favorite locations on the Island were the Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary and Lambert's Cove beach. Biking opportunities abound, and there are limitless beach areas for long, relaxing walks. And some of the most spectacular sunsets you'll ever see."
