  • Perfect for our family

"Just returned from our stay, this home was perfect for our family of 4, the house is cute, cozy, not exactly modern, but exceptionally clean!!!! We particularly loved the screened in porch to sit quietly, relax, and unplug. The house is a minutes walk to the bus stop, and a short drive to town. We would certainly rent this home again! It's a gem!"

  • Amazing stay!

"We had such a wonderful time in this beautiful house. This gorgeous home is a haven for relaxation. As you as you arrive, you forget all your worries. It's spacious, quiet and welcoming. Its close proximity to the private beach is wonderful. Vineyard Haven is also just a few minutes away by car which is extremely convenient for shopping and enjoying the town's amenities. We also enjoyed wonderful meals inside as well as on the large outside deck. If you've never experience an outdoor shower, you're in luck! Taking a hot shower, looking up at the trees and the sky is incredible. We can't wait to go back!"

  • Lovely home in a perfect location

"This is truly a beautiful, comfortable, well-maintained house. Lots of old house charm and character but updated throughout. There was plenty of room for our family of four. The first floor had lots of room to spread out and the bedrooms upstairs were very comfortable. The location is an easy stroll to downtown Vineyard Haven's shops and restaurants, as well as a local grocery store. A very special home away from home. Debby welcomed us on our arrival and made lots of very helpful suggestions about activities on the island. A great experience all around. Highly recommended."

  • Cute, Clean and centrally located!!

"We're a family of four with kids 18 and 15 years old. We booked the house for 10 nights. With that much time someone can REALLY get a feel for a place. The house worked out great for us. We cooked more then half our meals. The appliances all worked well and we also took advantage of the grill. There's a washer and dryer in the basement and a clothesline outside. As for sleeping, the beds were all very comfortable. There's 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs on the main floor. We opted, for an additional fee, to have an AC "window" installled for our stay. That was a good call and let me tell ya what we did. We placed it upstairs in the bedroom w 2 beds where our kids slept. The unit kept both rooms cool for a good nights sleep :) The WiFi worked well throughout the house. There's a TV room but truth be told we didnt turn the TV on, not once in 10 days.We opted to hit the beach everyday, imagine that! The house is centrally located. I rode my bike every morning to the little house cafe for coffee and picked up fresh Baggets from the small grocery store across the street. We basically went to a different beach everyday. Really explored the island. The only beach trip we repeated was "Katama" which is just east of south beach. We regularly rode our bikes to Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven. We even rode our bikes to Menemsha, got on the bike ferry "very cool" and continued to Aquinnah. The bottom line is that the house worked out great for us and Rachel was really very helpful. We had one small issue during our stay and she had it taken care of in a flash! What more can u ask for from a owner. I'd recommend the house to my closest friends and family."
