  • Great for a weekend trip

"We had a great time at this house for a weekend stay in February. The house was clean, modern and the kitchen had everything we needed. We had a car, but it is located close enough to walk downtown. The reservation process and checking in went so smoothly. Definitely recommend!"

  • Any concerns washed away the moment we arrived! Truly a gem we want to keep secret :)

"We first planned to stay for 2 weeks, but we had cold feet and eventually decided on just 1 week. For preparations, we purchased battery operated everything - but it was all for 'naught! The owners have been coming here for years and have thought of every detail you can imagine! Felicity makes sure to speak to each renter before committing, explaining the near outhouse bathroom (not nearly as bad as it might sound, though admittedly easier for men then women!) , use of handpump for water ( we had to use bottled water for drinking, provided by the owners) , and to make sure renters have a vehicle sufficient to make the long trek down dirt roads (our Subaru Outback was fine). We chose to sleep in the separate bedroom, but there are also 2 twin rooms, as well as 2 day beds in the main room.( the 2 rooms with a twin bed each was not clear to me from the original description. My husband and I each took one as our own for our belongings). We had beautiful sunsets every single night! One thing I would recommend is to bring your own water shoes (the extras in the shed were mostly men's large it seems). The beach is BEAUTIFUL for walking, kayaking, and sitting, but the bottom is more mucky than sand. This is not the place for people who plan to be out partying on Circuit Ave every night. But if you want a beautiful, private location to get away, do art or writing, walking and boating, this is ideal. We definitely hope to come back next summer. For two weeks this time."

  • Beautiful views, great decks

"This home has beautiful water views that are mesmerizing. The sunrise greets you in the master bedroom, and the deck off of the main floor is great for eating, relaxing, and enjoying the scenery. The home is very comfortable with an open layout and roomy bedrooms and an excellent outdoor shower. The rooms have ceiling fans that kept us comfortable even whether the weather turned hot. The sounds from the nearby gun club were a bit jarring on the weekend."

  • Perfect!

"This is the first time I have rented a house on the Vineyard, and I am hooked! The Leo cottage is in the perfect spot, not right in downtown, but close enough to to walk there in five minutes. Also about a ten minute walk to the beach. House is so comfortable and well decorated. Not over the top beachy, nice mix of antiques also. Plenty of room. And the porch. Cannot say enough about that porch!! Thanks so much for a relaxing and memorable week."
