  • Great Stay!

"My husband and I had been to MV as a "couple" many times in years past but this was the first time that we went as a "family." We now have a six year old son, a couple of dachshunds and traveled with my elderly mother who had never been to MV. Jardin Chantiler was perfect for all our needs. The house greats sunlight and has a beautiful kitchen that is a pleasure to work in. The sunroom and decks are great for quiet reading and relaxing. The house is set back so it offers privacy in a peaceful park like setting. And the location is fabulous- just minutes from the gorgeous Lambert's Cove beach, Chilmark and Menemsha. And last but most important, the owner is such a pleasure to work with- both before and during your stay. We have rented houses before in other areas but this was by far our most favorable experience. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing beautiful environment to vacation."

  • Wonderful Vineyard vacation

"We had a wonderful vacation on the Vineyard at this home on a hill overlooking Menemsha Harbor. THe house is situated on a beautiful property with water views. You also can walk to the beach and a cute town. Great restaurants like the Homeport and Beach Plum are in waling distance. Our day consisted of great bike rides in the morning with Lucy Vincent beach in the afternoon. We cooked in the fabulous kitchen for most meals. The house is stocked with everything you need. No need to bring sheets, towels, or even basic kitchen supplies. You can just show up for the fun. It also helped that the owner was flexible with dates. A great find all around. Looking forward to next year."

  • Adorable Little Spot!

"We loved the blue canoe, it really felt like home! We often walked into town, enjoyed the library and even weathered a pretty major storm surge in this cozy little cottage! All our needs were met, and the property manager was super responsive and helpful! The porch was a wonderful spot to take in the gorgeous weather and the interior of the cottage was so sweet and comfy. GREAT RENTAL!"

  • We should have stayed for 2 weeks!

"This rental delivers exactly what it states. It's very clean and comfortable cottage on a picturesque setting on the water. Really really relaxing and quiet cove you can paddle or swim on. We paddled over to several small coves and Sandy P oints for picnics and fishing, the stripers had moved out into cooler water, but my 11 yr old was happy to catch crabs and minnows the beach. No AC but that wasn't a problem, the evening temp and breeze made it great for sleeping. We found it easy to drive or bike into Vinyard Haven, or drop down to Edgardtown or south beach. If you rent this cottage, you will probably notice how quiet the point is, and how little traffic comes up the road. You can bbq on the charcoal grill, or get to several restuarants in VH in 5 minutes even if traffic is busy. Overall, we loved staying here and plan to go back next year."
