  • Perfect ACK House

"We just came back from another perfect stay at this wonderful home! This is our second year of multi-week stays at Maiden Voyage and we cannot wait to come back again next year! This is really the ideal home for family gatherings or hosting friends. The layout is exactly what you look for in a vacation home – an open floorplan on the massive main living area that is perfect for large dinners or for multiple people to cook together in the open kitchen. There is also some great outdoor seating and a large outdoor dining table. While entertaining, we also love that we don’t have to worry about the hassle of running out of propane in the middle of a cookout as the outdoor Wolf grill is hardwired to the gas line. Aside from the entertaining areas, there are 5 large bedrooms (all with bathrooms en suite) plus a pull-out sofa in the media room (which can also be closed off from the entertaining areas, so it really acts as a 6th bedroom). Our girls had a blast in the downstairs bunkroom (5 beds total) and the entire downstairs area was their favorite hangout spot. With the TV, large sofa, foosball table and their “crafting table”, they were fully entertained! The house itself is well located as it is just a short walk from town and an even closer ride to get the Cliff Road bike path for a beautiful ride out to Dionis or Madaket. The property is also just a very short walk from Something Natural, a perfect place to pick up delicious breads and sandwiches for lunch. There is also a perfect, private outdoor shower so sandy kids (and adults!) didn’t have to go through the house after the beach! There are plenty of bath towels, great linens, many beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, coolers, board games, puzzles, really everything you could need for your stay! Parking is a breeze as they have one off-road spot and plenty of room to park 2 more cars on the street in front of the house (no permits necessary, which is a rare thing this close to town!). And the road itself is very quiet as it is a dead end with a cul-de-sac and it was the PERFECT place for our kids to learn to ride their bikes! Maiden Voyage really has it all – the only thing you are “giving up” is any kind of extensive outdoor/lawn space (something other than the covered porches), but for us, Nantucket is about getting out to the beaches, the bike paths, town, the wharfs, etc., so it’s an easy trade-off to get everything else you would want in a vacation home!"

  • Great place great location

"This house was ina great area of Nantucket. Close to town, close to the beaches, and plenty spacious. We enjoyed our stay here. Also, I should note, the kitchen has containers for storing left overs. Tupperware is always a huge plus!"

  • A fantastic home.

"We had the most amazing week at this home. The family has a vacation every two years together. There were 10 of us and this house more than accommodated our needs. The owners who had this house built thought of everything. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom. There are 2 full size dishwashers in a huge well appointed kitchen, a big beautiful Wolf range and a table that accommodated all of us. TV's everywhere, a lovely covered porch, a beautiful family room downstairs, games and then there was the pool. We spent many hours out there enjoying the fabulous weather. It is close to town, the younger generation walked to town after dinner for ice cream, it is also an easy bike ride to a couple different beaches."

  • Didn't Want to Leave!

"My family stayed at this gem for 2 weeks and got the chance to enjoy the magical July 4th events on Nantucket. The house is well stocked and in a great location. For our teenagers, they could easily walk or drive their bikes downtown. But also far enough away from downtown to not be overwhelmed by the crowds. It's great that the house also had parking. It's tucked away in a quiet location. The house is rustic and not quite "luxury" as it has its' quirks, but that's also what made it so charming. We look forward to staying here again."
