  • Charming Beach Cottage in Perfect Location

"My husband and I stayed at this lovely home for a week this August. We were joined by a second couple and their one year old daughter. It was our first visit to the island and we thought the house was just about perfect! It was immaculately clean, spacious, and located about 10 yards from the beach, and 20 yards from the market/Sconset town center. The living room and kitchen area were larger than we expected and we had plenty of room. The outdoor area was also lovely -- I think we grilled and ate outside 5 of our 7 nights in town. Internet also worked fine and parking was available. The owners of the property live close by and, in addition to being very nice about answering questions and prompt with respect to reservations, seemed to be available to us during our stay (though we never needed them!). The only slight downside to the home is that there is no central AC (there is AC in the bedrooms) and during the height of August it was a bit warm in the home mid-day. That said, it was never a problem for us as we were active during the day and not sitting about. Mornings and evenings were beautiful, and we wouldnt have used AC even if available. We would definitely book here again and hope to return in 2017!"

  • 'Sconset: a heavenly escape

"Our family adores Siasconset. It's quiet and removed from the bustle in town, around the ferries. It's cozy and perfect for real family time. The bike rides can't be beat, especially to Sankaty Lighthouse. The beach isn't packed and there is a steady stream of curious seals swimming by. There's a nice new playground. To stay in a home decades older than our country was a real treat. And the location can't be beat, as far as we're concerned. It was a short stroll to the general store for ice cream; the bus to town; and the beach. We saw a movie at the Casino and enjoyed the famous bluff walk, also steps away. It was so nice to have a little yard in which to sit and relax. It was virtually fenced in by the hedges. The separate cottage worked out great for us. It was great to have a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The owner and caretaker do their best to make sure you have a wonderful stay. And we did."

  • after 35 years of rental on the Island we found the perfect rental

"When we needed to find a new rental on the Island, we went to Loverly this summer. It was ideal. Our family was nervous about going somewhere new and all seven of us loved the place. As soon as we got home we signed up for next summer. This was a home that had a lot of charm, care and love. Whether it was someone who was 70 or someone who was 5 it was ideal. The location was wonderful. The home was wonderful. We could not have asked for more. That porch was wonderful our favorite place in the house. It was spacious for 2 kids [age 9 and 6] and 5 adults. The owner was unbelievably response."

  • Wonderful get away

"Very well equipped house. A one minute walk to the beach! Loved the outdoor shower. Beautiful setting, hardest part of the day was deciding which nook in the yard we wanted to settle in to. Can't wait to go back."
