  • Fantastic!

"This is our 3rd time back to summer at Eastport. We love the house. It is most accommodating to our family gathering....as we also have taken advantage of the nearby cottage. The house is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped with 2 ovens, 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers and a wine fridge to go along with the main fridge as we all enjoy gathering for drinks and dinner. The bluestone patio invites us throughout the day--around the table enjoying a bite to eat or in the lounge chairs reading a book. Morning coffee on the second floor front patio is also welcoming with the ocean in the distance. The house is close to Low Beach where our guys fished and we watched the seals. It's also a short walk or bike ride to Sconset Village. We enjoyed a daily shop at nearby Bartlett Farm truck to literally eat farm to table. Familiar with the island we enjoyed many of the beaches but were always happy to return "home" to Eastport at the end of our day. It's always sad to leave Nantucket but we hope to be back again next summer!"

  • Beautiful, calm and private

"This house had the space, bedrooms, and baths to handle our group of six in style. It has comfortable furniture, lots of TVs, and everything else we needed to cook on the stove or the grill. It is light, bright, and cheerful inside. Best of all, it is just a short walk to Sconset center, the beach, and the restaurants and bars at the Chanticleer and the Summerhouse."

  • Charming Beach Cottage in Perfect Location

"My husband and I stayed at this lovely home for a week this August. We were joined by a second couple and their one year old daughter. It was our first visit to the island and we thought the house was just about perfect! It was immaculately clean, spacious, and located about 10 yards from the beach, and 20 yards from the market/Sconset town center. The living room and kitchen area were larger than we expected and we had plenty of room. The outdoor area was also lovely -- I think we grilled and ate outside 5 of our 7 nights in town. Internet also worked fine and parking was available. The owners of the property live close by and, in addition to being very nice about answering questions and prompt with respect to reservations, seemed to be available to us during our stay (though we never needed them!). The only slight downside to the home is that there is no central AC (there is AC in the bedrooms) and during the height of August it was a bit warm in the home mid-day. That said, it was never a problem for us as we were active during the day and not sitting about. Mornings and evenings were beautiful, and we wouldnt have used AC even if available. We would definitely book here again and hope to return in 2017!"

  • idyllic getaway

"Our week at Low Salt was everything we hoped for -- comfortable quarters, wonderful location, beautiful breezes on the back deck and throughout the house. We biked everywhere and there were many birds in the yard for the birders in the group to observe. The beach is a short walk away, as are the many restaurants and amenities in the town of Sconset. The cottage is the perfect mix of quiet, comfort, and convenience to everything. We will definitely be back!"
