  • idyllic getaway

"Our week at Low Salt was everything we hoped for -- comfortable quarters, wonderful location, beautiful breezes on the back deck and throughout the house. We biked everywhere and there were many birds in the yard for the birders in the group to observe. The beach is a short walk away, as are the many restaurants and amenities in the town of Sconset. The cottage is the perfect mix of quiet, comfort, and convenience to everything. We will definitely be back!"

  • 'Sconset: a heavenly escape

"Our family adores Siasconset. It's quiet and removed from the bustle in town, around the ferries. It's cozy and perfect for real family time. The bike rides can't be beat, especially to Sankaty Lighthouse. The beach isn't packed and there is a steady stream of curious seals swimming by. There's a nice new playground. To stay in a home decades older than our country was a real treat. And the location can't be beat, as far as we're concerned. It was a short stroll to the general store for ice cream; the bus to town; and the beach. We saw a movie at the Casino and enjoyed the famous bluff walk, also steps away. It was so nice to have a little yard in which to sit and relax. It was virtually fenced in by the hedges. The separate cottage worked out great for us. It was great to have a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The owner and caretaker do their best to make sure you have a wonderful stay. And we did."

  • You will love it.

"First of all, Whitney was a pleasure to work with. She had no problem staying in touch over the phone, and was quick to respond about anything. She was genuinely kind and accommodating. Second, the house is beautiful, clean, and charming. Young's bicycles was able to deliver bikes to the house for us, and biking around 'Sconset was a blast. Sankaty lighthouse is only a mile or two up the road, which was a great sunset bike ride. You can hear the ocean / waves from the house, and it's barely two blocks to the heart of 'Sconset, which is indescribably timeless and beautiful. The patio between the house and cottage was a perfect gathering area, with a big table and Sonos speakers for music (also throughout the house). The whole trip really exceeded our expectations. We would love to return."

  • Charming, comfortable Sconset saltbox!

"This house was perfect for our family of five... small and quaint, yet everyone had their own space. The house had everything we needed from an amenity standpoint, was very clean and decorated in a charming beach decor. The beautifully manicured landscape and comfortable back porch made morning coffee and casual meals so enjoyable. Nancy made the booking process very easy and she was very prompt and nice to talk to. While we biked or walked around Sconset, we did need a car to get to the other beaches and into Nantucket itself. But staying in the quiet, beautiful picturesque village of Sconset was SO worth the short drive anywhere on the island. Highly recommend 11 Sconset Ave!"
