  • Perfect, Iconic Sconset Cottage

"Eastward Look is perhaps the most iconic cottage in Sconset, appearing on countless postcards and watercolors. Staying here, you're experiencing something timeless: the shells on Front Street, the banks of wildflowers and sweet peas, tourists and couples strolling by. Everything works perfectly for a stay at the beach. The Market is steps away for provisions. The kitchen is basic but very functional, and the beautiful porch and side yard, both with extensive ocean views over codfish park, are perfect places to share a meal. Bookcases full of Nantucket lore for rainy days. Beds and bedrooms are classic cottage style. We loved it and will return."

  • Charming Beach Cottage in Perfect Location

"My husband and I stayed at this lovely home for a week this August. We were joined by a second couple and their one year old daughter. It was our first visit to the island and we thought the house was just about perfect! It was immaculately clean, spacious, and located about 10 yards from the beach, and 20 yards from the market/Sconset town center. The living room and kitchen area were larger than we expected and we had plenty of room. The outdoor area was also lovely -- I think we grilled and ate outside 5 of our 7 nights in town. Internet also worked fine and parking was available. The owners of the property live close by and, in addition to being very nice about answering questions and prompt with respect to reservations, seemed to be available to us during our stay (though we never needed them!). The only slight downside to the home is that there is no central AC (there is AC in the bedrooms) and during the height of August it was a bit warm in the home mid-day. That said, it was never a problem for us as we were active during the day and not sitting about. Mornings and evenings were beautiful, and we wouldnt have used AC even if available. We would definitely book here again and hope to return in 2017!"

  • Great Location - cute and quite cottage - Amazing owner

"This was my best trip to Nantucket ! The cottage has a great location with amazing water views from the small patio outside and quick access to the "public way" that was the best activity we did on the island ... this is not to be missed ! The cottage itself is very cozy and comfortable it has everything you need and you might think of. It is surrounded with beautiful landscape and great neighborhood. The beach is a short walk, just take the chairs in the morning and relax while having your coffee listening to the waves and watching for grey seals sightings... We went during the Cranberry Bog Festival which was one of a kind, the cottage was very close to the reservation location which is a big plus too! Above all, I can't say enough about the owner Linda , besides being a great host , she is a great person! we were trapped in the island because of a storm and she offered us an extra night to stay in the place while checking on us, offering us breakfast and rides to the town. I was very happy to know that this kind of people still exist..."

  • Charming, comfortable Sconset saltbox!

"This house was perfect for our family of five... small and quaint, yet everyone had their own space. The house had everything we needed from an amenity standpoint, was very clean and decorated in a charming beach decor. The beautifully manicured landscape and comfortable back porch made morning coffee and casual meals so enjoyable. Nancy made the booking process very easy and she was very prompt and nice to talk to. While we biked or walked around Sconset, we did need a car to get to the other beaches and into Nantucket itself. But staying in the quiet, beautiful picturesque village of Sconset was SO worth the short drive anywhere on the island. Highly recommend 11 Sconset Ave!"
