Spectacular Water Views from a Gorgeous Home with Luxury Amenities, Just Steps from the Beach
"My husband and I spent a glorious week at this amazing rental just steps from Madaket Beach. The home is exquisite. The first floor bedrooms include a queen bed with ensuite bathroom with French doors looking out towards the beach; a lovely king master suite with soaking tub, shower and a door to an outdoor shower where you can hear the waves as you wash off the sand plus one more bedroom that doubles as an office. There is ample closet space and room to spread out. The decor is light and airy - the finishes in the house are top notch including really beautiful tile work in the bathrooms and upstairs in the kitchen. In the basement there is a front load washer and dryer - really convenient for longer stays. But upstairs is the most amazing part of this lovely home - as you walk up the hardwood stairs, the view of the water opens up all around you from windows and French doors at every turn. There are two decks to enjoy with French doors leading to both. The views are nothing short of spectacular - nearly 360 degrees of water from the crashing waves of Madaket beach to the nearby harbor studded with all manner of boats. There is a breezy open concept family room with a large flat-screen TV and windows everywhere. We spent hours sitting out on the sunny decks, listening to the waves and soaking up the views. The gourmet kitchen makes it easy to grab a meal at home - and why not? We had views that exceeded those of any restaurant on the island! The kitchen is top-notch (and I am a chef) with everything you need to eat in if you'd like. We made coffee in the morning and enjoyed it outside. It was a short drive into town for groceries or to have dinner, which we did every night. But it was really relaxing some days to be able to grab some take-out and hang out "at home." We took the short path to the beach and enjoyed walking our two schnauzers and just absorbing the beautiful ocean. The sunsets are gorgeous on this end of the island - in the evening we sat outside and enjoyed a glass of wine with some cheese as the sky turned a range of orange hues. There is an adjacent cottage on the property but landscaping and distance from it and other homes make it a private oasis. Cannot imagine a nicer place to stay on Nantucket - we felt so relaxed and comfortable while enjoying the upscale decor and amenities of this lovely home. We feel so fortunate we found the perfect place to enjoy Nantucket on our first visit. And surely it won't be our last!"

"Stayed in this lovely home for three days while our floors were being redone. It is a great house that feels larger than it is, due to the layout. A fabulous kitchen with high quality cookware. Very comfortable all around, very clean and nicely decorated. We only wish we could have stayed longer!"

"We were lucky to rent this home in July 2016 for 6 adults, 2 kids and dogs.
Beautifully appointed rooms, comfortable beds, large exquisite bathrooms and five star linens. The spacious lawn with its various zones allowed our blended families to each have their own space and not feel on the top of each other.
The private beach is a dream...just a short walk through some privets and then down a steep set of stairs. We never saw more than 10 people during a peak summer week. Our dogs loved frolicking in the sand and then hosing off in the outdoor shower. The beach tends to be rocky depending on the tide-so if your"re sensitive you might want water shoes. Perfect spot for long walks, boogey boarding or just relaxing. We chose Squam for it's remote, private location. Town is about 20 minutes away, but once you get the house stocked with food and beverages, you'll never want to leave. Owner/operator was quick to reply with any issue and was a pleasure. We are looking forward to renting 75 Squam again!"

"I rented the house (including the carriage house) for a group of family and friends that ranged in size over the week from 6 to 14, and it really was a perfect stay in all regards. The owner takes great pride in this house, and the attention to detail shows in both the house and in all of the logistics of booking, answering questions, checking in, etc. The house and carriage house are perfectly appointed with everything you need for a great little escape. The layout is really conducive to a large gathering of family and friends - a nice mix of bedroom sizes, great indoor common areas, several decks where people can do their own thing, and a hammock and outside shower which both got rave reviews during the week.
We really loved the location, and the views. Very peaceful, even in the peak of summer, with great sunrise views over the moors, and well located for quick bike rides to Sconset and Tom Nevers field. For trips to town, it's a quick drive, but also convenient to the bus and the bike path (if you don't want to wrangle parking in town during the peak season).
Everyone in our group raved about the place, and you can't go wrong with this property if you're looking for that perfect Nantucket escape."
