"We had a great time staying in this lovely beach house! We were greeted by Richard who made us feel so welcome, provided us with absolutely everything we could possibly want or need, and came over immediately when something needed to be replaced. The hammock swing in the sunroom was wonderful, providing a much needed place to 'swing' our little 9 mo. old who had trouble sleeping. The beach itself was very nearby and relatively private. This is a great place to be and I look forward to returning one day."

  • Wonderfully peaceful and charming

"My husband and I lived on Plum Island over 20 years ago on the beach side. We come back form time to time, and this time brought my 18 year old daughter and her boyfriend. This sweet house offered something for everybody; beautiful rooftop deck for me, kayaks and bikes for the kids, and close proximity to EVERY food and beverage place for my husband:) I enjoyed this side of the Island-less hectic, beautiful scenery. Very nice neighbors on this street as well, and a great 3 season porch. Thanks John and Vanessa-we will be back!"

  • Our best rental ever!!!

"We are a family of 8 and have been doing summer rentals thru this site for 14 years. This home was the best by far! Pam's beautifully appointed kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare and cook our nightly dinners and cook outs. I brought nothing but the food we ate. Cleaning supplies, bathroom supplies, towels, beach towels all provided. The dining room was large enough for our family game nights and elegant enough for company dinner with easy to care for table linens . We had plenty of room in the large home to stretch out and relax after a day at the beach. Everyone had their own bed, with beautiful linens provided ( That is a huge plus!!) along with plenty of room for storage AND no fighting over bathrooms with 3 in the house . My 83 year old mother claimed the day bed on the sunny side porch for her reading room. The pictures definitely do not do this home justice. The neighborhood is quiet, the down town area is charming with great restaurants (Michaels was our favorite) and the beaches were 10 minutes away (Salisbury was the best) . We explored nearby Gloucester (Hammond Castle is a must!), Rockport (quaint seaside shopping area) MA and Portsmouth NH during the day and downtown, historic, Newburyport after dinner. Over the years we have only rented the same home twice but this home is a keeper for future Frazier family vacations !"

  • Perfect Vacation Home

"As we entered the house, we were immediately welcomed with a vase of lovely, fresh flowers. The open floor plan provided a perfect setting for my entire family to always be engaged with everyone. My adult children and their families had lots of fun as the house provided not only all of the essentials inside but had a great yard space complete with gas grill, umbrella, table and chairs and a much used outdoor shower when returning from the beach. The location of the house was perfectly situated between Long Beach and Good Harbor Beach and within easy walking distance of the house. The pictures of the house (or even if you view the house from the outside) do not do justice to the actual space inside the house. It was very spacious and well laid out. The upstairs bedroom with 5 beds and a bath worked perfectly for one of my children's family. The two bedrooms on the first floor were also very spacious, lots of closets. We also found having such great parking available to us was a real plus. There are lots of great spots to visit in the area: Rocky Neck (artist colony) and it also has some great restaurants: The Rudder and the Studio; Rockport with lots of local shops on Bear Skin Neck, Stage Fort Park, Eastern Point for some great fishing, and a visit to the new hotel, Beauport! Our favorite restaurant is Duckworth - but you must make a reservation long in advance of your visit. We hope to come back to this Perfect Vacation Home again next year. PS July 2016"
