  • Serenedipity

"My sister and I had a visit to this lovely cottage in Hull, Massachusetts. Appropriately named Serenedipity as we found it by chance while looking through places available on VRBO and were immediately drawn to the house because of the beautiful pictures shown. Now many times you will see pictures of a house on the internet and when you get there the house isn't nearly as nice as shown. I can honestly say that the pictures didn't really do the house justice as it's even more lovely when you arrive! I called the owner upon arriving and told her how I felt and ended by saying “I think I'm never leaving! (lol)..... The house is fully equipped for cooking and even has several spices and such if you are into cooking. At high tide you truly feel like you are on a houseboat! Love this place..... "this was a cozy little cottage depicted very well in the photos. The small living room connects to the kitchen area and the ceilings are as high as the bedroom loft which allows for a spacious feel. Perfect for two people. The neighborhood is lined with beautifully landscaped properties and streets spotlessly clean. All of Cape Cod is nearby as well as Newport R.I. We found awesome food and drink at the Brew Fish restaurant and ate there every night. Wonderful experience for my first time traveling this way. Brad"

  • Great little house on Wall Pond!

"We just got back from a great week at Barry's place in Plymouth. The house was very clean and the yard well kept. We had access to the pond and Barry provided all sorts of outdoor gear to use as well. The house was able to accommodate two small families reasonably comfortably, however, the master bedroom was outfitted with a queen sized bed and not a king as described. This was not a big deal, but my husband is a big guy and it would have been a little more comfortable. Additionally the downstairs alcove bed is not a private bedroom as we expected; this is not necessarily clear in the listing, but just be aware that it is part of the common living room area. Aside from these small details the house is perfect and we had a great stay. Barry, the owner, was also super friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend in the future."
