  • Well located, clean and Georgia was very accommodating

"We stayed for a week at the beginning of October 2016. The home was a 125 Victorian home but was very clean and Georgia was most accommodating . We were 4 adults and a nine year old and there was sufficient accommodation for all. Would suggest a chest of drawers in the bedrooms especially for stays that are a week or longer to accommodate storage and lay out of clothes. A review of inventory such as can opener, dish cloth in kitchen...... should be done regularly. Anything that was missing Georgia was accommodating with a quick response. Georgia very helpful with support to get around Boston and providing local needs such as grocery stores, Laundromat etc. Orange line just a few minutes by bus away. We were there for our daughter's appointments at Brigham Women's hospital. Well located as we were but 10-12 minutes away by car The home was very clean and comfortable. Would stay there again."

  • WOW!

"This cottage was our home for four days. It is a charming, hipster, family-oriented, loving home. The owners are wonderful to work with! These pictures don't do the property justice. When you walk in the front door you are welcomed by so many little touches that make this house traditional vineyard style. Immediate stress relief! My mom has had a difficult time walking as she ages, but there was a beautiful bedroom on the first floor just for her. Upstairs my two girls and I had the pick of four bedrooms! Luxury for a cottage!!! This home is close to everything...no really! Three minute walk to your left is Circuit Ave, the hub of Oaks Bluff. Three minute walk to your right and you're off to Inkwell Beach. This beach is beautiful day and night! We loved that there were games in the house to play "after hours." It was also super close to the ferry, which was awesome! This was my 50th birthday weekend and I was surprised with friends and family at a dinner at the MV Chowder Co. It was great that they could get on and off the ferry for dinner without needing taxis! Sad to see them leave the same night, but like I said it was easy for them to get to the restaurant and back to the ferry. Back Door Donuts has a cult like feel. You are drawn in and you just can't stop! It was a nightly late-night run! Mr.Puggs Muggs was my coffee place for our stay! I love my coffee and he's got the good stuff! Note: he opens when he gets there. Don't plan on coffee before 11! Although we had to drive to the Black Dog Tavern, we enjoyed our breakfast there daily! The food is amazing! MV Chowder Co. food was so yummy! The cup of chowder is like a meal in itself. Okay, back to the cottage! This piece of heaven is one to look at if renting in OB! The porch kept mom totally entertained! She met many folks who stopped to chat, ask directions, or restaurant ideas. People wanted to stop and chat about the house. She did not want to give up her throne! Comfy & cozy inside and out! I am hoping to return next year with my family. Heidi and Tony...THANK YOU! When I say it was difficult to leave today, that is an understatement. #memorymakercottage"

  • Dawn

"This was the best beach vacation ever! First off Jeff wants to get you in early the 1st day so you can start enjoying your vacation asap. Most places don't let you in until 3-4pm so you lose one day, Then the last day of your trip they want you out by 9:30 so you lose another day. We were able to get in around 11:15 and were settled in by 1-2pm in afternoon on the beach. The view from our condo was gorgeous. We watched the sunrise off the ocean and the sunset in front of the house. We were right on the beach so we were able to go to the beach come back for lunch then back to the beach. The beach was very family friendly. The beach house had many upgrades hardwood floors and granite counter tops. You do have an air conditioner in living room and fans in other rooms. The breeze was nice off the ocean but we did have a heat wave going on so it was very hot and humid at night. The fireworks on Saturday night you can watch from your balcony they were beautiful. FYI they don't start until about 11:15pm I was about a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk at night for fried dough. It was nice to have 2 parking spaces for family visitors. We loved it and plan to come back next year and make it our yearly trip! THANKS AGAIN JEFF!"
